Teresa called me asking for my help in recovering her lost gold diamond wedding ring of twenty-seven years. She told me the story that started several month prior. Teresa and her husband has just returned from a sailing voyage and on this day they were having a relaxing party on their boat as it was docked in their Eagle Harbor slip. Teresa remembers she was fidgeting with her ring finger and some how she managed to shoot the ring off her finger, it flew threw her hair, over the sail boat railing and down into the water below. Her husband witness the whole event and confirmed that the ring was in fact resting in the bottom of the Puget Sound waters.

After this the couple hired a young local diver that had been doing some underwater boat work but he had no success. Teresa’s husband a former dive instructor took a turn and could not locate the ring. They then called upon an old friend a professional diver that brought along a metal detector. He came up with a bucket full of trash but no diamond ring. Teresa’s husband took another dive with the metal detector and still no ring was found. At this point everyone was felling rather hopeless it wold ever be recoverd.

One of Teresa’s coworkers suggested in a joking manner why not get a replacement ring since your old you soon won’t remember the difference anyway.

After thinking if over Teresa went to a jewelry store that was having a going out of business sales event. She explained her story as she picked out a replacement ring from a catalog. Where her special order arrived after she paid for the ring she had immediate buyers remouse and graciously the jeweler refunded her money and took the ring back. However he did look her straight in the eyes and said you will never get that old ring back.

At this pint Teressa wad determined to find a way to get her diamond wedding ring recovered. She remembered hearing something about TheRingFinders and thankfully she did!

Lost White Gold Wedding ring lost in CDA Idaho, Was Found!!

The same choices made everyday are often the same choices made right before one might lose their ring. Likewise for Jamie, when her husband had come home she brought out her two wound up dogs for their moonlight walk. The air’s cool grip clung on tight that night but never the less when the walk was finished the dogs, Jamie’s husband and Jamie all had fun playing around in the pile of leaves. The playing in the leaves came to a close and the family retired back into the house. Upon a quick glance and with a rapid heart beat “my ring is missing” slipped out of Jamie’s mouth. The search was on. Flashlights and retraced steps left both Jamie and her husband at a loss. The next morning the dogs where lethargic with Jamie’s sadness. The only thing Jamie could possibly do was surfed the web for answers. The Knot, a wedding website, told her to call The Ring Finders. So Jamie sent me a frantic text, “I lost my ring are you still available?” I quickly called her and talked about the unfortunate night she had been through and then made arrangements to meet her after work. I knew that the ring could be anywhere in the leaves, on the path they took, in the yard, or on someone else’s hand. Hopeful I took off on my search. A quick pass in the pile of leaves, a stroll through the yard and back in the pile of leaves lead me straight to her ring. With a bit of confidence I looked over my shoulder at Jamie walking beside me and gave her a smile. ” If this signal isn’t your ring I’ll be surprised,”I said. I bent down and slowly pulled back the pile of leaves and revealed Jamie’s lost ring. Lost gold wedding ring in Puyallup River recovered

I got a call from Dave and he asked if I was the metal detecting guy. I said, “Yes, what did you loose and where?”. He proceeded to tell me that he was still at the Puyallup River and that he had just lost his gold wedding ring while fishing. I could tell he was quite upset about the situation. After requesting that he take several photos of the exact area and how to mark the location I agreed to do a search the next morning.

Being a river hunt I wasn’t quite sure if a recovery would be successful or not but we had to at the very least give it a shot. Our Great North West is full of faster flowing rivers often making it extremely challenging to recover a ring. However we all know the results of not trying, and no one is happy with that result. Heirloom Australian Gold Ring Returned: West Dennis, MA

It was August 23 and the summer day was just too wonderful not to go swimming while vacationing on Cape Cod. Even in the 74 degree waters the combination of suntan lotion, hot sun and cooler water caused a very sentimental wedding band to slip from Kevin’s ring finger. The ring was to rest beneath the salt water of the Cape overnight.

The next morning due to prior commitments Luke had to leave the search area without finding the misplaced ring. Luke call me and asked if I would help, sure and I was on my way. Searching the primary area and not finding the ring I moved to an area outside “the box”. Not too far, only about 20 feet, five minutes, the ring of gold was in my ears. A quick scoop and the ring was no longer misplaced, it was on its way back to the owner.

I called Luke. He in turn called Kevin’s wife to tell her the ring had been found and that I would be calling to arrange the physical return. Within the hour Jane and Kevin were at my home relaying the story behind the ring. The ring had been reworked form Jane’s great-grandmother’s gold. A ring that could never be replaced and of unmatched sentimental value. Kevin relayed to me that his finger felt so bare he had purchased a Claddagh on the day his ring was lost and that it will be worn while swimming in the future.

Wedding Charm Sails Away from Wedding Bouquet: Barnstable, MA

Karoline’s day was going perfectly, family, friends, food, beverages, weather, entertainment, you name it it was all perfect, well almost. It seems a bit of wind had untied the knotted string holding a family heirloom, a gold sailboat, close to the bouquet. The sailboat ran aground mooring itself in the soft sand which was soon to be covered by water of the incoming tide.

Many eyes searched and fingers sifted the sand to no avail. As a last resort I was called. My search lasted a bit over two hours covering both the area on the beach and yard also to no avail. About ready to call it a day Karoline’s sister came running and said we have a neighbor’s pictures, some 135 of them, and one shows the sailboat at the feet of the bride and groom. The entourage was on the way to the beach.

Trying to match the photo up with the landscape was no easy task. After the third area was isolated, and I searched it, an area only about 3 inches from one of my previous search marks, the commandeered sailboat was scooped from the fluffy sand. Now I had the fortune to return it to its rightful mooring. One can talk about a million in one, finding the sailboat in the one picture was one of those winning odds.

Diamond and gold Wedding band lost at Boca Raton , Florida… found..

I got got a call  from a woman who lost a ring in a condominium on the beach. It was a very complicated search involved multiple levels of grass, parking lots, bushes and flower beds. But I succeeded on the second day.

Ring Toss Recovery Skagit Valley WA

I received a distressed call from a young lady that she had regrettably tossed her ring out of her bedroom window. She was now in need of a recovery specialist to help recover the ring from her back yard. She had a person that tried searching her yard with a medal detector but came up empty handed. After the initial search she was more distressed now than ever and could not understand why after having thrown her ring straight down into the grass that the ring was not found. After clearing my schedule a few days later I drove the distance to perform a search for her very special ring. She told me that it was an older property and filled with a lot of junk metal and trash. Never the less I arrived on focus to recover the only thing possible in that yard that meant any thing to her, being this very special ring. Being a surface recovery over solid dirt and grass the detection process went pretty quick. Any targets that were not on the surface were quickly passed with the only priority being to recover her ring!

After a short bit of searching the target area her ring was recovered and it was in very close proximity to a test ring I told her to throw a few days prior. The ring was undamaged and placed back on her finger with a great deal of gratitude and relief that it had been found.

Found Ring Returned Madison Park Beach Seattle

While on the hunt for another man’s lost wedding ring at Madison Park Beach I was detecting the shallow swimming area and recovered a sterling silver simple men’s wedding band. I noticed it had a 2009 wedding date inscribed inside the band. I knew this obviously held some significant value to someone. It was found in such a place that it had to be an accidental loss. Being after the hours of the lifeguard shack it took the course of a few days and several phone calls. Eventually I was able to get information from the Seattle Parks Departement that lead me to the owner a man named Alex. Alex was a bit confused at fist when I called to confirm his lost ring then he realized after I texted him a photo of his ring that I had in fact found it. We arranged to meet during his early morning commute to work. During our encounter he explained that this ring was hand crafted by a jeweler from his home country and it indeed holds a deep sentimental value to him and his family. He was very appreciative to have it back just in time for his ten year wedding anniversary soon arriving. I am thankful to have reunited this ring to its owner allowing its history of memories and new stories to continue on with Alex for many more years to come.

Duck Pond Ring Toss Recovery Issaquah WA

Pall contacted me sharing that his young daughter had recently been give a very special ring from her grandmother. After having only had the ring for about a week his daughter was in the back yard tossing bread crumps to the lovely ducks when the unthinkable happened. Out went the bread crumbs along with the cherished gemstone ring! Having a girl with a broken heart Paul knew he had to find someone with a machine to efficiently recover this ring from the silty duck pond.

Lost Wedding Ring at Vashon Island WA

Susan called me explaining that her husband, Rob, had recently lost his wedding ring on recent boating trip five days prior. The two of them left Point Defiance Marina and motored over to Vashon Island for an enjoyable day on the water. She explained that Rob was on the beach looking at the rocks when a small wave splashed his ring off into the silty water. Rob instantly froze and tried to stay standing over the exact spot. Unfortunately the water was silty and they had no way of searching for the ring. I am happy that Susan was able to find me.
