TheRingfinders Metal Detectors has helped reunite a wedding ring set with their owners. What a miracle behind the story for this search  recoverying such precious stones that contains a Large sentimental piece of monetarily valued metals and gemstones.

 

July 17th I noticed an add online in the San Diego Lost and found while googling. A lady who lost her wedding ring on or near Cardiff beach had needed some dire help.I emailed her to see if there was a chance myself Curtis Cox/a Member of TheRingFinders could help find this with a Metal detector and if it could be simply buried in the sand at one of many places the rings could of been lost during that particular day. She emailed me back right away and asked me what I charge and some details of when/where the rings could of disappeared. I replied to her  with the honesty of what I do and The link to Theringfinders sight where I have many story’s of successful recovery’s to read.

I have rescued many Rings for Free especially for The military and ALL service members who protect and serve our Great Country.  I do not have a charge to help, Sometimes I am offered a reward,Tip,Present or any Gratuity they can afford but No matter the Cost,I Volunteer my time regardless of the dollar figure,Item lost. I am blessed with very good Karma in addition to the Piece of mind that comes with in these hunts.

Later that day Brenda and I had chose a good time to meet that afternoon plus to rule out if these rings may of still been naturally buried in the wet/dry sand or lost along the roadway in the city where they had walked.

After going over fine details of where,when and how it was lost I prepared to get my feet wet and started in the most pro dominant area where it may have fell first,The waters edge where they moved a wagon and belonging’s after the High tide was moving in.

Roughly 20min after brenda headed home with her newborn in the hot sun I had dug up an obvious pennie sound,Then after a similar but distinctive tone 6-8″ deep in wet sand just  happened to be a tiny 14k band loaded with diamonds.I emediatly sent her a picture asking if she had lost 1 or 2 rings?? I did not know she had lost 2 rings until Brenda responded via text there was Two..and I had just found the band…Oh wow. Extatic we both may of been so I geared up my equipment again and scanned 3′ from the first ring and heard a crystal clear familiar sound then dug up the Main Motherload diamond ring!

I contacted Brenda with the good news & she drove back down there with a big Smile.😀.

St. Christopher Pendant Lost at Manhattan Beach, CA…Found and Joyously Returned.

As I was traveling to Zuma Beach last Saturday to find a ring, I received a call from Olivia asking if I would be able to help find a pendant she lost while playing volley ball. I asked if she could wait until finished my search for the ring, and if so, I would head directly over to look for the pendant. She happened to be at work, so she was able to wait. When I found the ring, I headed straight to the area she had given me.

When I got there Olivia had thought she would have some time to come over and show me where the loss occurred, but it didn’t work out. We talked over the phone, and she explained where the loss occurred. I was standing there, and made sure I understood everything she told me. I then got to work, and found the pendant within 20 minutes. I could tell it was old, and it must have been given to her by someone special, something she for sure did not want to lose. I waited until she got off of work, when I was able to give it back to her. She was so thankful, and very happy to have it back again. A wonderful day!

Gold Ring Lost at Zuma Beach, CA…Found and Happily Returned.

Brad called last Saturday. He had been playing volleyball with friends, when he hit the ball, his ring flew off of his finger and was swallowed up in the dry sands. We arranged to meet as soon as I could get there. Traffic was a bit tough being on a hot weekend, but I was able to find him.

Brad explained that his mother had given him that ring 20 years earlier, so it was a very sentimental loss for him. He showed me the area, and I got to work. After about 5 minutes, I got a good signal in the head phones, dug and had a nice big gold ring in the scoop. Needless to say, Brad was very excited to see the ring again, and very thankful for the service of The Ring Finders. Another great day!

Lost Rose Gold Wedding Ring .. Monarch Bay Club, Dana Point,CA. .. Found

Krystal had been at Monarch Bay Club on the beach, Dana Point,CA. with relatives and it was a great day until she got home. That’s when she reached into her beach bag to retrieve her Rose Gold wedding ring, which she had placed there for safe keeping. It was not in the bag. Krystal and her husband Bob looked everywhere in their car without finding the ring.
She believed it may have been pulled out of the bag when she was pulling out items during their day at the beach.
The next day they brought a borrowed metal detector to the beach.
They spent a half day with the detector scanning the whole beach. Now the tide was starting to move in. Their friend google searched several key words when she came up with TheRingFinders.com.
When they called me I told them we still had enough light to do a search. The area could possibly be massive.

I arrived, beginning my search grid to stay ahead of the incoming tide. After about an hour and a half I was preparing my words to tell them I can not locate the ring. I could only see a small 20’x 20′ area to search. Bingo! I got the sound and reading I was looking for. A quick scoop in the wet sand and I had the ring in my hand.

Krystal, Bob and their friend were standing off in the distance and they had that hopeless look on their faces. I walked up to them asking for a description of the ring at the same time I held it up for them to see. Happy faces with a little bit of tears of joy. We had a nice conversation walking back to our cars. It never gets old finding these sentimental mental symbols of Krystal and Bob’s love for each other.

Lost her father’s ring who recently passed, ring was lost in the water in lake Michigan.
I was very fortunate to have found it for her, the waves were high but got lucky after only about 10 min.
Just would not have been able to leave this one without finding it.

Lost Platinum Ring in Crystal Cove Found and Returned

I was finishing up a search searching for someone’s lost jewelry this Sunday and I was approached by someone that said, “Can you please help us? My friend just lost his platinum wedding band”. I walked over and met Paul. He just told me that he was playing in the sand with his family and lost his platinum wedding band and that his wife was going to kill him. I swung the coil a few times in the area that he showed me and surprise! Within a minute it was in my scoop. He said, “you did that like it was nothing!” I said, “Finding it quickly was the easy part, the 30 years of practice was the hard part”. I made sure Paul was on the way home to his wife and ensure he would not be in the doghouse tonight.

Lost Ring Pensacola Beach – FOUND!

This was a neat story.  A nice lady on the beach at the Portofino Condos in Pensacola Beach stopped me and said that she wished I had been there a couple of days earlier.  I asked her why and she proceeded to explain that BOTH of her sons had lost their wedding bands in the gulf within minutes of each other just a couple of days before.  I asked her if anyone had looked for them and she said no one had with a metal detector.  I explained about Ringfinders and told her what I did and told her that even though I really wished she had called me a few days earlier, there was still a chance I could find them.  Well, long story short I was able to find her son Jacob’s but not his brother Zach’s.  I spent hours looking for Zach’s and even came back two more days to look but unfortunately I was only able to find Jacob’s.  I had to mail it back to Memphis, TN but as you can see by the picture, Jacob was thrilled when he realized it was really his ring in the mail.  Zach had some closure and appreciated me looking and has promised to call immediately if he ever loses something valuable again.  Congrats Jacob on getting your ring back!

Lost wedding ring recovered Montgomery, NY

Matt was wearing his Great Grandfather’s wedding ring that he had inherited. The ring was 18 carat white gold with a 1 and a half carat diamond .It was October 2016 and they were in a friends back yard taking pictures after his friend’s wedding. Walking back to the car Matt realized his ring had fallen off! He and his friends searched for the ring without finding it. Matt purchased an inexpensive metal detector and could not find the ring. 9 months later,hearing of the Ringfinders on Facebook, Matt called me and set up a time to meet and search the back yard.

I arrived at the yard and saw an area roughly the size of a football field. Talking with Matt we narrowed the search area and I located the ring at 2 inches below the ground after nearly 2 hours . Matt was ecstatic to once again have the ring in his possession. Another successful return!

Man’s 14K Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned on Ocean Isle Beach NC

I got an e-mail from Kim asking if I could help find her husband Trevor’s lost wedding band during low tide. I responded saying that there shouldn’t be a problem and we agreed to meet at 7:30pm. During the 35 minute drive, I noticed a nasty storm brewing and moving my way quickly. I met Kim and as we’re walking to the beach she told me what happened. She said her husband had lost his ring the day before while wave surfing with the kids. They had been out later that afternoon and searched with no luck and her husband didn’t want to waste anymore vacation time looking for what he thought was gone for good. She had (discreetly) looked on the internet and found me though TheRingFinders directory and decided to contact me for help.

We walked out on the beach to an area in the wet sand marked on 4 corners with a big X . I’m watching the storm move closer, with big lightning strikes off in the distance, so I started my grid search.  I wasn’t finding anything between the X’s so she told me that the ring could be a little outside of the X’s that she had previously marked. I expanded the grid and on my third row I hit a good solid 59-60 on my AT PRO. It took me 3 scoops to get the ring out of the hole. I dumped the sand on the beach, spread it out with my foot and saw a small glimmer of gold. I reached down and picked it up, blew the sand off the ring and turned around to give it to her. She was overwhelmed with joy and a few tears were shed, which gets me every time! I got a huge hug just as her husband and 3 kids were walking onto the beach. I think she had just texted him that we found his ring. He was extremely happy as well. It just doesn’t get any better than this and this is what it’s all about.
