Gloria called me to ask if I could find her grandmother’s bangles which were approximately 120 years old and had been passed onto her. Gloria lost them two years ago in Rundle Park while attending a party. She explained she was among the trees in the park and the landscape was full of 4 inch deep wood chips. Gloria told me that she had been to the park several times looking for her grandmother’s bangles with no luck.
I agreed to meet up with Gloria at the park and she showed me the area. Within 20 minutes I had her bangles back in her hands and after two years without them, she was very Happy.

Family heirloom ring lost at Coronado beach found

Donna was visiting here from AZ, and while enjoying a day at the beach in Coronado yesterday, lost her family heirloom gold and platinum wedding ring in the sand. She had removed her ring to apply lotion, and placed it in her chair pocket. The Chair later got folded…….and well you’ve already have heard that story before! She and friends searched to no avail. She even went out and bought an inexpensive metal detector to conduct her own search, but, after an afternoon/evening thunderstorm that blew through the area making the previously dry sand wet again, the detector just didn’t do the job under those conditions. When my wife and I arrived, we met Donna, got the story, and I was shown the search area they had marked off. That always helps to have a known spot verified by photos taken the previous day. First pass, got a foil signal and that’s exactly what it was. Return pass, same story. Just starting the third pass, and I get a nice strong 16 on my Equinox. I said that this sounds like a winner, and sure enough, after locating it with my pin pointer, I pulled this beautiful ring out of it’s hiding place. Donna was super happy to get this historic ring back before having to leave town on Monday. A pleasure to meet you Donna, and thank you for the generous reward.

Lost Moonstone Silver Ring On Bethany Beach, Delaware Found

On 08/20/21, I received a call from Hollon regarding the loss of a Moonstone Silver Ring on the Beach at Bethany Beach, Delaware. Hollon told me that the ring belonged to her 11 year old daughter who had the ring for 5 years and that the ring had been given to her daughter by her grandmother. I arrived at the location of the lost ring and had Hollon show me the area that was believed to contain the lost ring. I drove back home to get my equipment and then returned to the location of the lost ring. I then began a grid search of the area and on the first pass I was able to locate the missing ring in the dry sand. The ring was then returned to Hollon who then gave it back to her daughter.

Lost White Gold Wedding Ring At Cape Henlopen State Park Lewes Delaware Found

On 06/20/2021, I received a call from Sharis girlfriend regarding the loss of her white gold wedding ring at the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes Delaware. I agreed to meet Sharis husband, Joseph at the beach so that I could attempt to locate her ring. Upon making contact with Joseph at the beach he told me that his wife had first thought that she had lost her ring in the trash at the hotel where they had been staying on vacation but that they were unable to find the ring in the trash so they felt that the ring had been lost somewhere on the beach. Joseph said that his wife had been out in the water and that she had also been sitting in a beach chair at the edge of the water. I decided to first search the area at the edge of the water where Shari had been sitting, I started a grid search and upon making a second pass I was able to locate the lost ring sitting in the wet sand at the edge of the water. The ring was recovered and returned to Joseph so that he could give it back to Shari. Joseph told me that the ring was very special because it was their original engagement ring that had two other rings soldered to it. Joseph said that the two rings that were soldered to the engagement ring had been given to his wife Shari by her mother six years ago and that Sharis mother had passed away in January of 2021.

Jim was in his back yard tossing a large plastic exercise ball in the air when he felt his large 24k gold wedding band fly off his finger. Jim searched the yard for the ring until dusk but was unable to locate it. He later ordered a used metal detector online that he would use to search for the ring and then give to his son but then decided to try another route. Jim googled “find my lost ring”, found the Ring Finders website and then the Dunedin Ring Finder. Jim called me the following morning and we set up a search in the relatively small but grassy back yard. After I arrived, I asked Jim to show me exactly where he was standing when he was tossing the ball and to demonstrate how he was doing it. I asked him if he thought it possible that the ring flew off over his head behind him and he said it was. I then began my grid searching in that area which was also near a utility shed. As it turned out, I began my search only about three feet from where I found the ring! In less than five minutes and after a couple of photos, Jim’s wedding band was back on his finger. Engagement Ring Found in 50 Tons of Corn

It wasn’t a needle in a haystack, but a ring in a corn “play box”.  I was contacted by Sarah who said she lost her engagement ring while playing in a large “play box” of corn at Lakeland Orchard and entertainment area. We had to wait a couple of weeks  until I became available to look for it and we were worried because this is public recreation area. When I arrived, I was amazed at the size of this paly area. Sarah was unable to meet me so she sent her mom to show me the area she thought she lost it. I arrived before the mom but the owner of the center had already showed me the general area. As I began to search, I had a great signal in about 2 min. The corn was about 18 inches deep and kept moving like quicksand as I used my pin pointer. I used my beach sand scoop and after a few scoops I found the ring.

I sent a photo of the ring to Sarah and she was amazed I found it so fast. When her mom arrived, I handed her the ring and she just began screaming with joy. I just love returning jewelry and seeing the smiles on the owners faces.

Ring lost in the bushes found

Dayanne was walking her dog in her apartment complex, when a simple body turn to look behind her, made her gold ring fly off her finger and into some thick bushes that line the walkway (as you can see in the photo). She actually saw the spot where the ring went into the bushes, but, even after clipping away some of the leaves and branches to get access it still couldn’t be located. I initially started with a large coil to hopefully get the depth I needed to locate the ring deep inside, but, it became apparent immediately that another method was needed. I instead put on the 6″ coil and rechecked the area where I could get deeper down inside the bush. I got a nice 15 signal on my Equinox, smiled, and pulled out my pin pointer to poke down into the bowels of this sticker bush. Carefully reaching inside and locating the signal with the pin pointer, I zeroed in on the target. Even so, it was still invisible and took 3 tries to grab it in the dead leaves at the base of the bush. A happy Dayanne put the ring back on her finger. I received a text from Danny last night about his white gold wedding band that he lost while on the beach in Ocean City, NJ.

He wasn’t sure if was lost in the sand or ocean, so I started detecting at the approximate location where he was sitting.

Approximately 20 minutes into the search, the ring was found! Danny was thrilled to have his wedding band back on his finger!

Samantha along with her husband, daughter and two dogs were visiting Honeymoon Island State Park from the Gainesville area about three hours away where they had recently moved from New Hampshire. In the process of throwing a rock in the water for her dogs to chase after, both Samantha’s engagement ring and wedding band flew off of her finger into the water. Fortunately she was able to recover the engagement ring just a few feet ahead at the edge of the water but the white gold with diamonds band flew further out into almost knee deep water. After a frantic search in near dark conditions with the park ready to close, Samantha and her family could not find the band. Another person on the beach at the time suggested to Samantha to reach out to me and after finding me through the Ring Finders page she messaged me on the way home that night. She provided enough information about the location and tide time of loss that I was able to begin the search the next morning.  I sent Samantha photos of the beach area and she marked them up to help better define the location of loss so I began grid searching the water. I searched for a few hours in the morning and several in the afternoon until a storm ran me off but I found only a couple of pairs of sunglasses, a toy plane, fishing weights, several coins and some beach trash. Even though I knew I was looking for white gold, I dig every target that is just several inches deep. I messaged Samantha and told her I would be back out searching the next morning with Jim, a fellow detectorist who I had met on the beach during a previous search and recovery. After a 45 minute search the next morning with me on one end of the search area and Jim on the other, I hit a target that gave me a promising 5-6 on the VDI of my Equinox 600 in about knee deep water and after a couple of scoops I had recovered Samantha’s wedding band! I messaged Samantha with several photos and told her that her prayers had been answered. Samantha and her family made it back to Honeymoon Island a few days later and I met them there to return the wedding band. Samantha, thank you for contacting me and trusting me to recover your ring. Lost Mens Platinum Wedding Band On The Beach In Lewes, Delaware Found

On 06/16/2021, I was contacted by Joe in regards to his Platinum Wedding Band that he had lost on the beach at Cape Shores Development in Lewes, Delaware. Joe request my help in finding his lost ring. Upon contacting Joe at the beach he showed me two areas that he had been sitting when the ring was lost. I began a grid search of the first area and I was unable to locate the ring. Joe had chairs and an umbrella on the sand in the second area that I was to search so I requested that he move the items so that I could begin my search. While the chairs and umbrella were being moved I walked over to a corner of the area where I had decided that I would begin my search. Joe was still moving the items out of my way so I laid the coil of my detector on the sand at which time I heard a tone in my headset. I scooped up the sand from where I received the tone and low and behold there was Joes lost ring. I called out to Joe and told him that he did not need to remove anymore of his beach items because his ring had been found. The ring was then returned to its rightful owner.
