Lost Rings in Falmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts …. Found

Hello!  I am new to The Ring Finders but I have been metal detecting for more than 10 years and have found hundreds of rings, pieces of jewelry, and other such items of sentimental or monetary value.  For some of these I have been able to track down owners and return the items, and I have also done successful searches in response to requests.  I hunt on dry land and in fresh and salt water up to neck deep, but I do not dive.  I search mostly on the Upper to mid-Cape (western to middle Cape Cod) but I can travel to surrounding areas if warranted.  My searches are on a ‘reward basis’;  that is, you pay what it’s worth to you or what you can afford.  I donate half of such proceeds to the West Falmouth Library, an independent public library that operates largely on donations from friends and patrons.  I hope that I will be able to assist you in finding your lost treasure!

Lost wedding ring Lake Ontario Park Kingston Ontario

Received an email from Andre yesterday, inquiring about me coming out to look for his lost wedding ring. Andre and his wife were at a rocky shoreline, at Lake Ontario Park in Kingston, where he went for a swim and lost his Wedding band in about waist deep water. Headed to meet him to see if we could find it for him.

Having looked at the forecast previously, and Mother Nature being on our side with keeping the winds fairly calm, I was able to get in the water and start looking for the ring. Conditions were challenging as the bottom was covered with large boulders, rocks and waves tossing me around back and forth. However, after 45 minutes of perseverance, was able to reunite Andre with his wedding ring. Really glad I could find it for him and especially since his second wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks. Life is good.

Lost Engagement Ring Found in Sand Banks Ontario

This morning I met with a young couple from Quebec, vacationing at Sand Banks, Prince Edward County, for the week. Unfortunately, she lost her engagement ring at the beach yesterday while placing it in her nap sack before going for a swim. Let me suggest to you that if your ring has any monetary/sentimental value, have your initials and phone number engraved inside the band and perhaps have it ensured. Bad situation that ends well. Her reaction video, below, is really worth watching. Another happy customer. Life is good. 😊

Apple Watch recovery in Glen Ross Ontario, while Scuva diving.

Received a call about a person having lost their Apple Watch while diving off an old train bridge into a local canal/waterway near Glen Ross, Ontario. With the help of Diving partner, we were able to return the watch to the owner. Very lucky as conditions were very difficult with tons of weeds and silt. Yet another happy customer.

100 GM Cuban link Gold Chain found on South Beach Miami Florida Returned to owner.

  • from Fort Lauderdale (Florida, United States)

As I was metal detecting in the water on South Beach Miami Beach A couple of guys approached me and asked me to search for a gold chain for them. I spent two or so hours looking for it but after analyzing the situation and having only found beer cans and pennies. I thought we needed to go further out. The problem was it was getting to be the highest tide. So I took a break and waited until the tide went out further they agreed and after signing the contract. I continued to search way out for another 1 hour or so with little results. After discussing the possibility of a need to come back another day and or switching to another metal detector with better sensitivity. I got a target.!!! And brought up the gold chain in the picture. The owner was sooooo happy to get his chain back.

24 Karat 44 gm Gold nugget found Kendall Miami Florida.

  • from Fort Lauderdale (Florida, United States)

I got a call to find a 24 Karat 44 gm gold nugget.  It was used in a contest  . The contest was to find the gold nugget in any of the 6  .. 1 ton  burlap bags of dirt. Unfortunately the client couldn’t find  the nugget in the 1 ton burlap bag they knew it to be in after no contestants could find it . So I went to the commercial location where the nugget was at and attempted to find it with my metal detector. but the nails in the pallet interfered and also the writing on the bags interfered. So the client had to take it to a different site so we could dump all the dirt out. once we could dump the dirt out it was found very quickly

In September 2019, Jim called me for my help in finding a ring on the grounds of the Cumberland Monastery.  The spinner ring held special meaning for Jim as it was a souvenir of a trip to Israel.  It was lost while playing football with family.  I located the ring in two minutes, barely time for him to drive off the grounds!  Jim was thrilled to have this special ring returned to him.
