Friend’s bachelorette weekend in Brigantine, NJ and all you want to do is get a good tan in. On day two of beautiful weather, drinking rosé, eating Wawa sandwiches, and laughing about life, we suddenly see our bride jump up and say she can’t find her ring. We all immediately run over and are on our knees digging through the sand. The sun is shining on us, some tears were shed, texts to each other’s significant others is in full swing and we decide to give the bride some space. Some took turns talking to the bride, random civilians pulled out their metal detectors or sifted through trash, others comforted from afar, and one friend decided to draw a ring on the sand. We felt helpless. Once John appeared, it was so simple. He found her ring in under 5 minutes and we all ran to her once she confirmed she had it. Dan reached out to me to help find his wife’s engagement ring and wedding band that were lost on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Janece placed the rings on her beach chair and forgot to put them back on. She didn’t realize they were missing until she returned home, but knew she needed to search for them. I met her on the beach in the area where she was sitting, and after searching for approximately 30 minutes, the rings were found!

Tyler and Jenny decided to spend a week in Brigantine, New Jersey, for a relaxing getaway. During their stay, Tyler removed his wedding band and placed it in the pocket of his beach chair. After returning to their vacation home, they realized the wedding ring was missing then Tyler contacted me.

I arrived at the beach as soon as I could, and Tyler provided additional information about the ring’s last known location. With my metal detector in hand, I started scanning the area methodically. After a few sweeps of the detector, I discovered the gleaming gold wedding band nestled in the sand. The day concluded with joy and relief as Tyler’s cherished ring was returned to him, making their stay in Brigantine, NJ, even more memorable.

How to find a lost ring in the sand

Brian was at the back of a home in Ventnor, NJ, which was nearing completion. Suddenly, a wasp attempted to sting him, but he managed to swat it away. However, in the process, his wedding band slipped off and landed in the sandy mixture on the ground. Brian attempted to locate the lost ring using a metal detector but was unsuccessful. Josh and Annie went to the Longport Dog Beach to spend some time outside with their dog. Josh took his wedding band off and put it in the beach bag so it wouldn’t get lost. Annie turned the bag over to shake out the sand before they left, not knowing the ring was inside. They made it all way home to Philadelphia before realizing the ring was lost. Josh emailed me to ask for help and I called him back to get more details. He sent me pictures of where they sat that day and I was able to go look for it. After I found it, I called the couple, who were just recently married in April, and made plans to return it. I met up with the newlyweds and the ring was back where it belongs!
