Friend’s bachelorette weekend in Brigantine, NJ and all you want to do is get a good tan in. On day two of beautiful weather, drinking rosé, eating Wawa sandwiches, and laughing about life, we suddenly see our bride jump up and say she can’t find her ring. We all immediately run over and are on our knees digging through the sand. The sun is shining on us, some tears were shed, texts to each other’s significant others is in full swing and we decide to give the bride some space. Some took turns talking to the bride, random civilians pulled out their metal detectors or sifted through trash, others comforted from afar, and one friend decided to draw a ring on the sand. We felt helpless. Once John appeared, it was so simple. He found her ring in under 5 minutes and we all ran to her once she confirmed she had it. Yesterday morning, Allison reached out to me in a panic about her lost ring from the previous night in Ocean City, NJ. Her beautiful gold Tiffany ring had slipped from her fingers and disappeared into the sandy beach as she was pulling out some clothing from her bag. Determined to help her, we met on the beach and I immediately began scanning the area with my metal detector. And then, just like that, a signal! With one swift scoop, I unearthed her precious ring. The look of relief and joy on Allison’s face was priceless. Another successful recovery mission in the books!

Patrick was spending the week in Margate, NJ, with his family when he placed his wedding band on the seat of his chair. Without knowing, one of his children sat on the chair, causing the ring to fall somewhere in the sand. Despite his efforts to find it, Patrick wasn’t successful. Looking for help, he reached out to me, Ring Finders South Jersey.

Using my metal detector, I was able to pick up the signal I was looking for, and ultimately found the ring in my scoop. Patrick was overjoyed to have his wedding band back on his finger. Tyler and Jenny decided to spend a week in Brigantine, New Jersey, for a relaxing getaway. During their stay, Tyler removed his wedding band and placed it in the pocket of his beach chair. After returning to their vacation home, they realized the wedding ring was missing then Tyler contacted me.

I arrived at the beach as soon as I could, and Tyler provided additional information about the ring’s last known location. With my metal detector in hand, I started scanning the area methodically. After a few sweeps of the detector, I discovered the gleaming gold wedding band nestled in the sand. The day concluded with joy and relief as Tyler’s cherished ring was returned to him, making their stay in Brigantine, NJ, even more memorable.

Josh and Annie went to the Longport Dog Beach to spend some time outside with their dog. Josh took his wedding band off and put it in the beach bag so it wouldn’t get lost. Annie turned the bag over to shake out the sand before they left, not knowing the ring was inside. They made it all way home to Philadelphia before realizing the ring was lost. Josh emailed me to ask for help and I called him back to get more details. He sent me pictures of where they sat that day and I was able to go look for it. After I found it, I called the couple, who were just recently married in April, and made plans to return it. I met up with the newlyweds and the ring was back where it belongs!

Lost Gold Wedding Band Found Longport NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey John Favano

I received a message from Marisa on my Ring Finders South Jersey Facebook page about her antique wedding band that was lost yesterday.  She was standing in the surf in Longport, NJ when a wave came in and caused the ring to slide off her finger.  She saw it drop into the ocean and thought she would never see it again. Ironically, she happened to see the news segment earlier in the day about a lost wedding band that I found and reached out to me. I went out at sunrise to catch low tide since it was lost in the surf.  After roughly 35 minutes of gridding the surf and wet sand, I was able to find it!

I received a call from Dawn whose friend saw my Ring Finders South Jersey page on Facebook and referred her to me.  Her daughter Julia lost her Cartier gold Love ring in the surf during a severe storm in Ocean City, NJ.  She was in ankle-deep water when strong gusts of wind suddenly blew the ring off her finger.  After speaking with Julia about the details of how and where she lost the ring, I started the search in knee-deep water and worked my way toward the beach.  I had to expand my search out about another 35 yards and the ring was found on the high on the slope! Never give up the search the rings can be found!

Bill gave me a call about his wife Amy’s rings that were lost in Brigantine, NJ. The couple was sitting on a blanket watching their son take surfing lessons when Amy placed a sentimental silver ring that was custom-made by her son and her wedding band on the blanket. She forgot her rings were there when she pulled up the blanket and shook it out. I met them later in the afternoon and was able to find both rings after a short grid-search.
