Patrick was spending the week in Margate, NJ, with his family when he placed his wedding band on the seat of his chair. Without knowing, one of his children sat on the chair, causing the ring to fall somewhere in the sand. Despite his efforts to find it, Patrick wasn’t successful. Neil decided to put his wedding band in the pocket of his beach chair for safekeeping while he spent time on the beach with his wife and friends in Ocean City, NJ. After he got back to his house, he went to look for the ring but discovered a hole in the pocket instead. He gave me a call and exained the situation. The ring could have dropped in the sand by the chair or anywhere along the path they walked home. I met him where the group sat and started the search there. There were several targets, mostly Matchbox cars, that I had to weed out, and then I heard the tone from the metal detector I was expecting, the sound of the ring. Now their weekend getaway in Ocean City, NJ was able to end on a high note!

Tyler and Jenny decided to spend a week in Brigantine, New Jersey, for a relaxing getaway. During their stay, Tyler removed his wedding band and placed it in the pocket of his beach chair. After returning to their vacation home, they realized the wedding ring was missing then Tyler contacted me.

I arrived at the beach as soon as I could, and Tyler provided additional information about the ring’s last known location. With my metal detector in hand, I started scanning the area methodically. After a few sweeps of the detector, I discovered the gleaming gold wedding band nestled in the sand. The day concluded with joy and relief as Tyler’s cherished ring was returned to him, making their stay in Brigantine, NJ, even more memorable.

Josh and Annie went to the Longport Dog Beach to spend some time outside with their dog. Josh took his wedding band off and put it in the beach bag so it wouldn’t get lost. Annie turned the bag over to shake out the sand before they left, not knowing the ring was inside. They made it all way home to Philadelphia before realizing the ring was lost. Josh emailed me to ask for help and I called him back to get more details. He sent me pictures of where they sat that day and I was able to go look for it. After I found it, I called the couple, who were just recently married in April, and made plans to return it. I met up with the newlyweds and the ring was back where it belongs!

Bill gave me a call about his wife Amy’s rings that were lost in Brigantine, NJ. Toleen lost her wedding set in Ocean City, NJ yesterday while spending the day with her family on the beach.  The rings were placed in the pocket of the beach chair and fell in the sand when she folded it up. Sheila contacted me today about her fiancé’s chain and cross that were accidentally left on the beach in Ventnor, NJ.  The surf was rough yesterday, so he decided to take it off before going into the ocean.  Forgetting that it was in the side pocket of the beach chair, the jewelry dropped into the sand when packing up. They didn’t realize it was missing until after they got home and were extremely upset because it is very sentimental.  I met with the couple on the beach and they gave me the approximate location where it could have been lost.  Something in the distance caught my eye as I was walking around detecting.  It glistened for a second, so I decided to walk toward it.  It turned out to be the edge of the cross peeking out of the sand!
