Priceless Treasure pulled from the depths of Lake Conroe in Lake Conroe, Texas

06/19/2016

I received a call from Carlos regarding his lost necklace and pendant in the waters of  Lake Conroe. Carlos said while boating with friends this weekend, he had the misfortune of loosing a family heirloom (a gold chain with a gold and diamond pendant)

06/20/2016

Check out the video to see the set-up and recovery of Carlos’ necklace and pendant.

Although it’s not actually gold from the Atocha ship wreck, I thought this must be how it feels to find some really cool treasure pieces.

Lost wedding ring returned in Kelowna BC

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)
Contact:

Sheri and her husband were working on their Low Maintenance, water saving yard. Throwing the large rocks around the area, her husband heard a ping and noticed his 14k white gold wedding band was missing, he stopped work and looked around for it. With no luck Sheri called her friend in Vancouver who gave her my phone number, and said give him a call, he will help you search for it with a metal detector. When she called, I told her that with a construction site, time is of the essence and I would be there the next day. With her husband at work, Sheri showed me the location they where working, and said she suspected that it had fallen down between the large rocks. I knew from past experience that the ping meant the ring had bounced away, so I started the search around the perimeter, Sheri convinced it was in the big rocks continued moving them away. After around 45 minutes of searching and still outside the rock pile I located the ring 30 feet away from the rock pile around the location that they were standing, this location was scheduled to be levelled off with a cat the next day. Sheri was delighted and called me a Superstar

Wedding Ring Lost, Found and Returned on Clearwater Beach, Florida

Jason and his wife were visiting St, Petersburg from Walton, KY. While here they decided to take the family to Clearwater Beach for the day. Upon arriving at the beach they took some pictures then decided to go in the water. Jason walked out into the water about knee deep and at that time his wife asked him if he should take his ring off to make sure he didn’t   loose it. At that time he looked down and it was already gone. They went back to their umbrella and looked at the pictures they had just taken and sure enough it was on his finger right before he went in the water.

After looking for the ring for some time they reluctantly got in the car and headed back to St. Petersburg. Jason was broken hearted because he would never see his wedding band again. That afternoon he decided to search the internet to see if there was someone that could hunt for the ring. He found the ringfinders.com and contacted Tom Jones. Tom told Jason to meet him at Clearwater Beach at 6:30 that same evening.

Tom, Ed Osmar, and Dimitur Alipiev met the couple at the beach and started hunting. As the three were searching the water Ed noticed the couple standing in the water about 20 yards north of the area they had indicated the ring was lost. Ed thought, I bet that is where they really lost it. Moments after he reach the spot Ed called out “is it silver colored?” Jason and his wife ran over and she read the inscription inside the band and yelled out “Oh my God that is it”. After a round of hugs for all, the couple left the beach to enjoy the rest of their vacation that was destined to be a bad memory but now has a “great story” as Jason puts it. Lost 14k White & Yellow Gold Ring Recovered on 6/02/16 in Lake Gaston, Boydton Va.

  • from Hillsborough (North Carolina, United States)
Contact:

I recovered and returned this Lost gold wedding  ring on 6/02/16 for nice gentleman named Jason who had lost it in Lake Gaston.  I won’t go into to much detail but  the ring was recovered in about 8 feet of water in about 26 minutes.. Even though this recovery did not take long, it was a tough search as there was no visibility when diving. Even with a good light there was only 5 inches visibility. It was like diving in pitch black water. In order to locate the ring I had to go on sound and feel only as I could not see anything and the bottom was littered with trash signals. I would not recommend diving in this lake unless you are a experienced diver.   Here are some photos of the ring . It was a pleasure to help him out. And i’m glad he was able to get it back.

In the News – Pro Helps Briggsville Man Find Cherished Ring

  • from Madison (Wisconsin, United States)

Check out this newspaper article about a recent lost ring find.  This was a great hunt and proof that a ring is not always where you think it was lost.  We spent a good hour searching the inside of an animal pen looking for 45 year old wedding band lost while spreading a bale of hay.  After searching the area 2 to 3 times, multiple different ways for close to 2 hours – I asked where else Jim might have been the day he lost his wedding ring.  After 5 mins of looking in this different area, I spotted the ring.  I called Jim over and handed him my handheld metal detector and let him find it.  Check out the link below for the full story of this lost ring including video of the hunt – the expression on Jim’s face when he found his ring is priceless and the reason we do what we do.
