I received a text from Madi asking if I could be a hero and find her husbands wedding ring. He lost it on Christmas day while playing football with his brother at his parents house. Madi and Ryan live in Maryland and would not be able to meet me on the day of the search. They sent me great details on the area they think it came off. They were devastated after not finding it after several hours of searching. I arrived several days later because of my schedule and searched the area for about five minutes before getting a strong hit on my Garrett ATPro. I found the ring deep in the grass which was difficult to see because of the rings unique black and brown color.
I texted Madi and photo and told her i found it. She immediately called me and told me I was their hero. I went to the house to give the ring to Ryan’s mother who did not even realize I had searched for it. She was so excited I found it and would keep it safe until her son comes to visit her again.

I received a call from a gentleman that lost his phone on the side of a road. I met up with him with fellow Ring Finder, Doug Hardy. After getting all the details of the location of about where it was lost we began looking for it in the high brush and thorns. It was a visual search, there was no way to swing a metal detector. After about 30 mins I was able to locate it under a bush next to some thorn bushes. I had to crawl under them to get to it. We called the owner back and confirmed it was in fact his phone!! The photos/videos on his phone were priceless to him. He had had this phone since the birth of his child and hadn’t backed it up to any cloud. He was beyond grateful to get this phone back with all of the memories, that were irreplaceable.

A couple of metal detecting buddies of mine called me up and asked if I wanted to join in on a search. While out hunting they were approached by a man whose son had lost a cross pendant with his wife’s ashes in it. I didn’t have my equipment with me but seeing that the site was just off my route home, I stopped to say “Hello” and see how it was going. What happened next was very unexpected. Watch the video to see the ending.
I received a call back in May about several sentimental and valuable items lost in a house fire in New Jersey. After several phone calls and a long wait for permits to enter the home site, we were finally able to search for the lost family heirlooms this weekend.
The fire had taken the home down to the foundation which made the recovery search very difficult. The effort continued over the course of a few days. I was able to recover the gold family heirlooms from the sad and tragic loss.

Amber found me on the Ring Finders website after she lost a silver necklace of sentimental value, given to her by family. She was helping with a wedding when she noticed the necklace was missing. She was certain that she lost it while carrying a suitcase across a mowed field. On a cloudy, misty day we discovered it hiding in the stubble after about an hour of searching. Made us both smile!

On 08/20/21, I received a call from Hollon regarding the loss of a Moonstone Silver Ring on the Beach at Bethany Beach, Delaware. Hollon told me that the ring belonged to her 11 year old daughter who had the ring for 5 years and that the ring had been given to her daughter by her grandmother. I arrived at the location of the lost ring and had Hollon show me the area that was believed to contain the lost ring. I drove back home to get my equipment and then returned to the location of the lost ring. I then began a grid search of the area and on the first pass I was able to locate the missing ring in the dry sand. The ring was then returned to Hollon who then gave it back to her daughter.

On 06/16/2021, I was contacted by Joe in regards to his Platinum Wedding Band that he had lost on the beach at Cape Shores Development in Lewes, Delaware. Joe request my help in finding his lost ring. Upon contacting Joe at the beach he showed me two areas that he had been sitting when the ring was lost. I began a grid search of the first area and I was unable to locate the ring. Joe had chairs and an umbrella on the sand in the second area that I was to search so I requested that he move the items so that I could begin my search. While the chairs and umbrella were being moved I walked over to a corner of the area where I had decided that I would begin my search. Joe was still moving the items out of my way so I laid the coil of my detector on the sand at which time I heard a tone in my headset. I scooped up the sand from where I received the tone and low and behold there was Joes lost ring. I called out to Joe and told him that he did not need to remove anymore of his beach items because his ring had been found. The ring was then returned to its rightful owner.

Got a text from Stephen last week about his gold wedding band being lost for two weeks at a part that him and his family were at. They had a volleyball net set up on one side of the park and provided me some photos of the area where they had been. After about 3 mins, I had located his ring during the making of a TIKTOK video. I had planned on doing as many PART’s as needed until I found his ring. Was happy it only took one before I found it.
We met two days later and I was able to get his ring back to him where it belonged.

Carrie and Sid got a call from Morgan on Labor Day. Her husband of less than one year had lost his wedding band while working in their yard. He had many tasks so the ring could be in any of the four flower beds, garden, yard around the driveway, two potted plants or the trash can where plants and shrimp shells had been tossed. We each headed in different directions and began the search. The metal flower bed borders were the biggest problem. Lots of hunting was by pin pointer. After an hour, Carrie got a good signal on the grass a foot from a flower bed. Found! Needless to say, Morgan was excited and their marriage is now safe.
Thank you for the very generous reward.
