It was a perfect day for the beach, so Nicole and her friends decided to spend the afternoon soaking up the sun. At one point, Nicole took off her rings to apply sunblock, and her friend tucked them into her pocket for safekeeping. Somehow, in the hustle of the day, the rings slipped out and disappeared into the soft white sand of the Jersey Shore. When they realized the rings were missing, panic quickly set in. Like many in this situation, they started searching frantically through the sand but had no luck. That’s when they realized it was time to call in a professional with a metal detector.

After speaking with Nicole, we agreed I should come down immediately to start the search. Her friend met me at the dune walkover and explained what had happened as we made our way back to their spot. Once we arrived, I moved all their belongings aside and began the search. Just a few seconds into it, I heard the telltale sound, and soon enough, the rings were safely in my scoop.

What could have been a tragic loss turned into a happy ending, thanks to a little patience and a quick call to me at NJ Ring Finder !!!!!!

Silver Ring Flies Off Finger and Becomes Lost in Sand – FOUND

Evan called Crystal Coast Ring Finders to locate a lost silver ring.  His family were out the tossing a small football when, during a throw,  Elise felt her sentimental ring fly from her finger.

Moments after arrival to the location, we discussed the general boundaries where they felt the ring would be retrieved for Elise.   I started my grid search and a strong 92 signal on my XP Deus II metal detector.   This was the type of signal I was expecting and after gently placing my hand deep in the sand I was able to scoop up a handful of sand with Elise’s lost ring.  The group was very surprised how quickly I found the missing ring.

Football Fling in Ocean Results in Lost Ring – Found and Returned

Adam’s wife shared a heartfelt plea on social media, asking for help in finding Adam’s wedding band, which had been lost in the water. By the time I had enough information to begin the search, they had already returned to Ohio. They estimated the ring was about 40-50 yards out from the beach, and my search confirmed they were right. After covering a span of five houses while water hunting, I finally hit a good signal. As I lifted my sand scoop from the waist-deep water and the sand sifted out, there it was—Adam’s ring nestled among a few shells. Some ladies watching my gear from the shoreline were amazed when I found it. Adam’s ring was one of two white gold wedding bands I recovered that day. I mailed his ring back to Ohio and waited for a photo of Adam with the ring back on his finger. Though Adam had some bad luck, falling ill after the vacation, he was healing when his son captured the moment of his dad wearing the ring again. I’m grateful to the family for trusting me to recover and return such a meaningful item!

I received a call from Hector’s girlfriend telling me that he had lost a very personal medallion in the sand at the beach. It was already dark when she called, but knowing that the County machine cleans that beach daily, I let them know I was able to come and do a search right away.

I met Hector at our agreed to meeting point, and he then walked me out to the area of the loss. His girlfriend was out there holding the place, which was very helpful because finding areas at the beach at night can be a little tricky. I was able to see where they had been searching, and began my search there. It wasn’t long before I got a great signal, dug, and had Hector’s medallion in the scoop. It had been his Grandfather’s, and meant a lot to him. Another successful search, with a happy ending. Hector did not want his face in the shot, but he was smiling.

Pictures From A Day At The Beach Leads To Lost Gold Wedding Band Being Found On Very Wide Beach

Anne messaged Crystal Coast Ring Finders. She explained she may have lost a gold ring on the beach. She removed her ring and placed it in a backpack. They used the backpack to bike ride a few miles up to a nearby park. The next morning, I met Anne very early and we proceeded to the location. Anne lost the ring two days prior and tried to locate the ring while raking the sand surface the day after she lost it. Upon arrival, I could still see where she searched and started my hunt over that area. Unfortunately, I did not find anything except a few pieces of garbage metal. I asked Anne if anyone took any pictures of the area and this was the key to figure out exactly where they had set up during the beach visit. I began searching more to the Southwest. My XP Deus II locked onto a very loud signal. Seconds later, Anne’s custom made green gold wedding band was back in the sunlight.

White Gold Wedding Ring Lost At The Kids Park. Braeside St. Albert

Sebastian contacted me, requesting my assistance in locating his wedding band, which he had inadvertently lost a few minutes prior to our conversation. He informed me that he was present with his two daughters at the park, where he was pushing one of them on the swing. Suddenly, he felt his ring slip off his finger and into the sand, becoming invisible.
Sebastian diligently searched the area he believed his ring had landed, but unfortunately, he was unable to locate it. Fortunately, I was only five minutes away from his current location. I promptly informed him that I would be there shortly. Upon meeting Sebastian, within a few minutes, his ring was miraculously returned to his finger.

Another Ring Down! Brooklyn Job: Platinum Wedding Band Recovered in Under an Hour

Wanna hear how I spent my morning?

Last night around 10pm, I get this message from a guy named Alex:

“Hi Reuben! Got your info from theringfinders.com. I lost my platinum wedding ring playing volleyball at Domino Park in Williamsburg. It’s inscribed and all, and if your detector can find platinum, I wanna talk to you!”

We set up a 9am search. Alex couldn’t make it to the court but sent over a great description and layout of the area. It was a nice morning — overcast, a little cool, and not nearly as brutal as it could’ve been in August. Perfect weather for a little treasure hunting.

Domino Park has one court — sandy, and full of chatter from fences and nearby metal, but I came prepared. I fired up the Nokta Legend, notched out the iron, and took my time listening for that sweet, soft platinum tone.

About 45 minutes in, I got a clean, shallow signal near the back left corner of the court — where most players rotate through. Grabbed my sifter, scooped just the top layer of sand, and rescanned the spot. Silence. I shook the sifter and… bam, there it was. A platinum wedding band, sitting right on top, just waiting to be found.

Inscriptions matched. Game over.

Alex was working nearby, so I swung by and hand-delivered it to him. No extra charge for delivery 😎

Gotta say — every ring is different, but I’ve been doing enough of these to know when I’m onto something. You still need patience, the right gear, and a good set of ears, but man — it’s always a good feeling when that ring hits daylight again.

If you lose something — don’t panic, and don’t go digging holes in the sand like a maniac. Just call me.

Engagement ring lost at Coronado found

Jessica and her family are visiting here in San Diego and spent the day at the beach in Coronado. She removed her three rings and put them in a fanny pack to keep them safe.  On their way back to their hotel, she went to put her rings back on and only found two of them. She had been in the fanny pack a few times to remove her phone, so, that’s probably when the ring accidentally got pulled out. Panic set in and she returned to the beach to hopefully find the missing engagement ring. As we all know, soft sand will swallow a ring in an instant, and running fingers like a rake to find a small item like that rarely works. Jessica searched online for help and made contact with fellow RingFinder Curtis Cox, who is about an hour north of us. He recommended she call me….Thanks Curtis! I headed over right away and found traffic was horrible! A Sunday afternoon during the summer is always a pain with traffic and parking in Coronado, but, this was really bad due to an accident on the bridge over to the island. An hour later, and parking a mile away, I finally made it to the search area to meet Jessica. She knew where they were camped earlier that day and I started my grid search. First pass I found a quarter. Second pass, nothing. At the end of the third pass I got a nice reading of 20 on my Equinox 900. I told Jessica that this was a promising signal, but, lots of trash signals can read the same. A shallow poke in the sand with my pin pointer revealed what we hoped it would be…..a beautiful engagement ring.  A grateful and very happy Jessica can now enjoy the rest of her stay here before heading home in the morning. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Super quick recovery, super short story. I received a message from Bethann. She explained that her husband lost his ring on Trenton Ave beach while playing with their grandchildren in the sand.
