Lost Platinum Wedding Ring TIKI Island Galveston, Texas (recovered)

Massive Platinum Wedding Ring lost off the dock on TIKI Island-Galveston, Texas recovered by Houston Metal Detecting Services (Members of The Ring Finders)

I was contacted by Mike a resident of TIKI Island -Galveston, Texas who was looking for help in recovering his platinum wedding ring lost off the dock behind his home.  Mike reported following an unexpected water-related kayak incident, his ring slipped off his finger and landed in the water near the edge of the dock. Mike reported the water was about 4′ deep and the bottom had a somewhat muddy bottom.  Mike stated he attempted to recover the ring with a homemade sift but was unsuccessful at recovering his ring. Mike said later that day a short internet search led him to The Ring Finders website, and he placed the call!

Mike said his wife had the ring made for him and he was extremely motivated about trying to recover this one-of-a-kind platinum wedding ring.  Mike and I made arrangements to meet the following day to attempt a recovery of his lost ring.

Some days all things come together, this day was no exception, Mike’s ring was laying on the edge of the only hard pack material next to the dock, another foot out, and it would have possibly been unrecoverable due to the bottomless silt just off that ledge.

Lost Ring Saddle Brook NJ… Found

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

I received a call from Joe and his wife looking for help finding his wedding ring which he lost while fishing in the Saddle River.  After discussing the location and depth of the river where the ring was lost, we agreed to meet the next morning at the river.  Joe was awesome!  He knew almost exactly where he had lost the ring and was able to point me right to the location.  After a short search, I was able to find the ring under a small layer of silt.  I was incredibly happy to be able to return the ring!  I know the ring meant a lot to Joe, so it really meant a lot to me to be able to help!

Lost Gold Wedding Ring Found at Boardwalk/Dream Inn Beach

  • from Santa Cruz (California, United States)
Contact:

I met the owner of the lost wedding band at the beach they had been at a couple days prior. It was far from certain that the ring had been lost there but after hearing the details I considered it at least a decent probability that it had been. The owner had taken a photo while they were there and I was able to triangulate their location from two days before from background landmarks, pretty closely I was confident. I started searching in a square spiral and after 3-4 coins, 1 pull tab and about 20 minutes I got the signal I was looking for. After swiping away the sand to about 2″ deep the silver edge of the white gold band glinted out at me like a smile I thought or maybe that was just me 🙂 I think it’s going to be a busy summer … peace.

Beautiful ring lost and recovered in Guyton, GA

  • from Statesboro (Georgia, United States)

Jeff contacted me about a ring that was lost in their front yard while his wife was doing some landscaping. She wasn’t quite sure where it was lost. The ring had been loose on her finger for awhile and it could have come off anywhere in their yard, flowerbeds, or wooded area near the house where she was tossing yard debris.

I arrived and began my search. After a couple of hours thoroughly checking the places she thought it might be, I was beginning to run out of time and thought I may need to come back again for a second search. One last search in the corner flower bed turned up her gorgeous diamond ring.

It was great getting to meet such a lovely couple and I’m so happy I was able to bring a smile to their faces. Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary!

Gold men’s wedding band lost in the grass at Boynton Beach, Florida Found and returned to owner.

  • from North Miami Beach (Florida, United States)

I met my customer . he said that he was waving his hand to one of his friends and his ring flew off. he was saying that it flew about 20 feet. but after searching for a while there I asked more questions. I found that it must not have gone that far. so I reexamined the area closer. I   was only getting a target that sounded like a penny.  but guess what after checking the target out .. it was his ring. he was very happy. and left me this beautiful testimonial.

Testimonial……………………………………………..

Waving to a friend, my wedding band flew off my hand. First time ever in 60 years the ring left my hand. Looked in the grass unsuccessfully .
Sent text to Craig Marten explaining my issue at 10:15 PM. He was at my home ready to search at 10:00 AM the next day.
10:45 AM he found my ring.
Very grateful of his quick response and successful result.

Lost Brass Ganesha Medallion at Ala Moana Beach Park…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This hunt began late last night when I received a call from Lance who resides in Arlington, Virginia and was visiting friends on Oahu. While playing volleyball on the beach, Lance noticed his Brass Ganesha Medallion had fallen off but he wasn’t exactly sure when during the volleyball game it happened. Luckily he played in the same general area so the search grid was only about 5 yards by 10 yards in size. I wasn’t quite sure what numbers brass would ring up on the Nox but I figured this area of the beach is fairly clean so we dig it all. First target was an 8 but it was so small the target kept going through the netting of my scoop. Oh well! Not what I’m looking for. Next target was a 20-21 which is usually a Zincoln Cent but to my surprise there was Lance’s Brass Ganesha Medallion in the scoop. Elapsed search time 2 minutes. Another quick successful hunt. Lance by the way is a rapper and his newly released song is hitting the airwaves now. I’m a rock-n-roller so I wasn’t very enthused. But the song did have a catchy beat I’m sure the younger generation will crave for more. Aloha to Lance the Rapper!

Class of 1985 gold college ring…lost, recovered and returned in Collegeville, PA!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Received a text from Karen today seeking help in finding her boyfriend’s lost college ring. She found me in the Ring Finders directory and I returned her text with a phone call to discuss the lost ring. Karen conveyed to me that(1 year ago!) she was mowing the backyard lawn of her home in the Skippack/Collegeville area of PA while her boyfriend, Eric, was also doing some work in the backyard. As she was mowing she saw a large branch in her way and asked Eric to pick it up and heave it out of the way to the side of the yard. In doing so Eric felt his prized college ring fly off his finger in the same direction of the branch…somewhere in the corner of the yard. They searched for hours and even rented a metal detector to try to find with no luck. As the year passed Karen never forgot about the missing ring and was determined to find and return it to Eric…she finally reached out to a “Ring Finder”.

I arrived to her home around 3:30 pm on the same day she contacted me. We went straight back to the area where the loss occurred. As I always do I took a second to demonstrate my equipment with my own ring….I want people to feel confident that if the ring is there…I’m going to find it! She re-enacted the loss and showed me exactly which direction the branch and ring were thrown. I’ve learned over the years to prioritize the most likely search areas first and then expand outward. I was there about 5 minutes and on my 4th signal I knew I had it before I even bent down. It was a clean and solid gold tone 1 inch beneath the surface. I grabbed my pinpointer an targeted its exact location just under the surface and gently moved a 1/2 inch of dirt and saw the gold shine through. Before digging any further I called Karen over and asked her to take  a look….she was amazed!!! We gently moved a little more dirt and plucked this beauty out of the ground! As a Ring Finder I always tell people how much more fun it is when you are able to come through and find and return the item! Karen and Eric were very happy!!!!
