Gold & Diamond Wedding Band Recovered for Owner, Mashpee, MA
Mike forgot his clam rake when he went to the beach, but that didn’t stop him from digging for quahogs. The only implements available for digging were his hands, and he made good use of them until he realized that his gold and diamond wedding band had been left behind somewhere in the muddy sand. He took careful note of the area where the ring likely was lost, probably some 50-60 feet offshore, obtained a non-waterproof detector and made an attempt to find the ring but had no success.
Browsing the web, Mike’s wife found my Ring Finders page and contacted me several days later. I talked to Mike and we made arrangements to meet so he could show me the area to search. At the beach he waded out to where he thought the ring might be, and I marked it with a buoy and started my search. After some additional thought he moved the buoy and I searched that area for about 50 minutes until it seemed clear that I was getting out of the zone where the ring might be. I moved back to the original area and sure enough, within about 10 minutes had the ring in my scoop. With some huge smiles, handshakes, and hugs the ring was soon back on Mike’s finger where it belonged!
Thanks Mike, for the opportunity to help you out and get that beautiful ring out of the mud and back in its rightful place!

Mike’s gold & diamond ring.

A big smile from Mike.

I received a call from Vinny Thursday morning around 9:00 AM. He was frantically trying to locate someone to help him find his wife’s platinum engagement ring. Vinny and his wife were out on the front lawn the afternoon the day before and she had lost her gorgeous engagement ring. They both looked exhaustively for the ring on their hands and knees for hours but could not locate the ring. The day Vinny called me was also his wife’s birthday so he was frantic and hopeful he could return his wife’s ring back to her on yet another special day, her birthday.
I immediately prepared to travel the 2 hours to Vinny’s location as I knew I had to reunite this lady with her ring. I arrived at the site and Vinny gave me the layout of the location and the events leading up to losing the ring. I immediately went to work and within 5 minutes had the ring back in Vinny’s hands. This was one of the fastest recoveries I’ve been on!! 4 hour round trip drive, 5 minute recovery…Awesome!!

Platinum Wedding Ring Lost at Huntington Beach House .. Found in the Sand

I can help you find your sentimental keepsake.. Call or Text .. Stan ..949-500-2136
*** Kieth called me as I was driving home from another ring recovery. He had been at Huntington Beach on a bicycle ride. He stopped at the Huntington Beach House restaurant to have a little beverage and enjoy the music.
When he returned to his E-Bike he reached into his pocket to pull his keys out. Right away he realized his platinum wedding ring was in the same pocket. His ring fell into the dry sand. His attempts to find it were unsuccessful.
Kieth returned home google searching for information about metal detectors. He found my contact information and called right away. He gave me verbal directions as to where he dropped the ring. I got to the location 10 minutes before he got there. As I was walking down the pedestrian /bicycle path two guys saw me with a metal detector. They told me that a guy had lost a wedding ring over by the bike rack.
I already had the location of the loss. It was another quick recovery. Kieth showed up just after I found the ring. He was proud that he found my service. He and his wife were very appreciative to have the ring where it has been for many years.

I was contacted by the mother of the groom who had lost his wedding ring the day after the wedding while throwing a football on the beach. They had come down from Fresno for the ceremony at a club that is right across from the water, and after the loss had to go back home. I asked a lot of questions knowing they would not be able to be there for the search to show me what was done to cause the loss, or where exactly it occurred. After I felt that I had enough knowledge to do the search I was on my way.
When I got there people had already begun to get their spot on the beach, so I had to work around them the best I could. I worked all the area around the people, and then began working down the slope. There wasn’t a lot of trash metal so that made progress faster than usual. I kept working down the slope to the water, and then began in the wet sand. I kept working down the beach until I was in the water when I got a good tone in the head phones. The scoop went in the sand, and came up with a nice white gold ring in it. I called the groom’s mother, and we arranged for her sister to meet me to get the ring, and she would bring it up North later. Another successful recovery!

Almon contacted me in the morning about his lost wedding ring. He had lost it the day before at the beach, and was hoping I could do a search for him. I was available, and let him know I would leave as soon as possible. He let me know that he was unable to meet me for the search, but sent me great coordinates in order to do the search.
I got down to the beach in good time, and before the crowds appeared to enable me to do a thorough search of the area. I went right to the area that Almon had given me, and started my grid. I continued for a while, then decided to send him a photo of where I had searched. He pointed out an area in the photo that I should concentrate on, so I went to that spot and continued. After about 5 passes and multiple pieces of trash metal I got his ring in my scoop. I sent him a text to let him know the good news, and we arranged a time to meet after he got off of work. He was very happy to get his ring back especially knowing that this year was his 10th wedding anniversary.

Gold Pendent Lost in Nashville-Found!
Brooke contacted me even though she was in Nashville and I was in Chattanooga. There are two ring finders in the Nashville area, but neither of them were available. I agreed to go, even though it was about a two-and-a-half-hour drive for me. She had lost a gold pendant while she was competing in a charity event at a local golf course. The pendent was from her late grandfather, so it had a lot of sentimental value. I left early enough from the Chattanooga area to get there by 6:00AM so we could get started before the course opened. That event was a sack race. They were not on the fairways, but in the grass off to the side. I’m not familiar with the course layout, but I think it was off to the side of tee box #10 where they had the sack race. Brooke had previously gotten permission from the course manager. The first thing I did was scan the edges of the cart paths, and it was not there, except for a square pull-tab. Yep, those are everywhere we go. Fortunately, someone had taken a video clip of the sack race, and I could clearly see she had the pendent on during the race. But more importantly, I could use that to hone in on where the race took place. From the viewpoint of the video there were several small trees on the left background. In the left foreground there was a grassy hill that had been scalped on the top by the mowers. On the right very edge of the screen I saw a homeowner’s metal fence that was bordering his back yard. So, using those landmarks I was able to pinpoint exactly where the sack race took place. Most of the grass there was short enough to see the pendent if you walked close to it. Some of the grass was tall enough to hide an object that small, so that’s where I focused my detecting first. While I was scanning the taller grass, Brooke asked if there was anything she could do. I said most of this grass is short enough that you could most likely see it if you walked right over it. So, knowing exactly where the race had taken place, I had started scanning around halfway to the finish line where the taller grass was, and Brooke started walking ahead of me near the finish line where the shorter grass was. After around twenty minutes or so, I saw Brooke lean over and pick something up, she said, “I found it!” It was visible if you walked right over it, so someone else could have seen it before we got there. Fortunately, it was still there.

Jill and her friends were relaxing on the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ when she put her engagement ring in her beach chair for safekeeping. As the tide came in, the beach chair was moved back up to the dry sand. It wasn’t until everyone was back at the house that she realized her ring wasn’t on her finger. She called me and explained the details of how it was lost. I decided to start searching with the metal detector by the water. A few minutes later, I went over the ring and scooped it up.

*** Lydia and her husband are here in Newport Beach on Vacation. They will be returning to Colorado in a couple days. She lost a very small thin white gold and rose gold wedding ring in the sand.
While they were searching the sand, when person saw them desperately searching the sand. They told her about the Ringfinders metal detector directory. After searching the internet, Lydia contacted me. I explained how the service works and she said they would wait for me on the beach.
I arrived soon at their location, after agreeing to help them. As I was setting up my metal detector, I gave them a short explanation on how the detector works. Then I started a grid pattern, slowly sweeping my search coil. I knew it was a small thin gold ring, so it required setting up my sensitivity as high as possible. Not long after starting I got a whisper of a signal in my earphones. A quick dig with my sand scoop revealed a thin two colored ring just like Lydia described.
They were very surprised and happy to have this special ring back where it belongs. Another successful recovery for two very special people to remember as part of their vacation to Newport Beach, CA.
