Metal Detector Rental North Myrtle Beach SC

  • from North Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

Why rent a metal detector when you can hire a Metal Detecting Specialist who has the experience, knowledge, and equipment to find your precious treasure!

Typically, rented metal detectors found in and around beach areas are inexpensive machines that will not work in water and/or wet sand (because of the mineralization in the sand). The machines are sketchy at best in the dry sand because of the quality of the detector. There are occasions when someone may find their item in dry sand areas but the majority of people will waste their time, effort, and money especially if they’ve never worked with a metal detector before. It also depends on the tides. You may have lost your item during low tide and when you realize it is gone it is now high tide. Most Metal Detecting Specialists have metal detectors just for this purpose; their machines work in water, up to waist deep or more, to aid in the recovery of your lost treasure. Instead of wasting your time, money, and vacation looking for your item you can call a specialist to do it for you.

Contact a metal detecting specialist through TheRingFinders.com directory.

Search areas include but are not limited to North Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas, Beach, Ocean (up to 5 ft deep), Parks, Yards and Athletic fields. Prior permission will be necessary on all private property and may be required in State Parks and Athletic fields.

I work on a “Reward Basis” meaning you pay what you can afford and feel it’s worth for me to find your item. If the item cannot be found there will be a $25.00 call out fee to cover gas. Veterans, Police and Fire crews are exempt from a call out fee.

10% of all reward money I receive will be donated to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in your name.

Call as soon as possible after the loss.

I received a call from Laura yesterday asking if I could help her to locate her husband’s wedding ring that she had accidently lost on Saturday morning either in her home or yard.

I met Laura at her home and she told me that on Saturday she was in the laundry room and her husband’s ring was lying on the counter. She picked up the ring and put it in her pocket and went about doing her house work, gardening chores, and shopping errands. It was not until later that afternoon that she realized the ring was missing from her pocket. She showed me shorts similar to the ones she had been wearing. The pockets were too deep for the ring to have fallen out of.

I checked her back yard, around the flower beds, her rock pond, the front yard, her truck, and garbage bags that she had put out for recycling. Two hours of searching and no luck. There was a kitchen garbage bag still in the house that I had not checked. Laura emptied the bag while I went back to recheck the pond. I heard her scream “I found it”. She was very excited and I was glad for her.

Laura asked me if I was an ex-police officer. When I asked her why, she replied that I was always questioning her with possible scenarios regarding the ring. I replied that I asked all these questions to try and trigger your memory, and to give me clues as to where the ring might be.

Laura then realized that she had cleaned up the kitchen and maybe she put the ring down on the counter top and without thinking wiped the top off and that was probably when the ring had fallen into the garbage container.

Another Happy Client! Thank you, Laura and Chris, for entrusting me and The Ring Finders to help you find your lost ring.

Wedding Ring recovered on Indian Rocks Beach, Florida

Brian was at the beach with family checking out the sea life and the small shells burrowing in the sand.   They all decided to head back to the blanket and  Brian went in the ocean to wash the sand off his hands.  When he got to the blanket he realize his ring was missing. He placed an ad on craigslist where ring finder member Howard Metts saw it and alerted Stan Flack because it was near his home.  A call went out for ring finders. Five volunteers showed to look for Brian’s ring. After about 40 minutes of hunting Stan came up with the ring. Unbelief and happiness could be seen on Brian’s face. Nice work by all!!

Engagement and Wedding Ring Lost in the Sand – FOUND in North Myrtle Beach, SC

  • from North Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

I got a call from Holli asking if I could help her friend Kandi find her lost engagement and wedding ring that had been lost in the sand when the wind blew the bag over that the rings were in.

I was able to get to the beach in about an hour but there was a very heavy thunderstorm going through the area that delayed me in starting the search because of all the lightening associated with the storm. In the meantime, Kandi told me that her and her husband Bill had rented a  metal detector and attempted to find the rings themselves. I explained that the metal detectors that can be rented are inexpensive detectors that will not work in water or wet sand (because of the mineralization) and sketchy at best in dry sand. I also told them that if you’re unfamiliar with a metal detector you might get lucky and find your item but more likely than not you’re wasting your time and money.

After giving me a full description of the rings, Kandi showed me the area she thought the ring would be in and I started my grid. After about 40 minutes I had to expand my search out a little and within a couple of minutes I got a strong signal.  I took a small scoop of sand, shook it out and there was this beautiful ring  that matched exactly as the one Kandi described. I glanced over at Kandi, who with Bill, Holli and her husband had been watching me as I was doing the search. I gave Kandi a wink, a little smile and nod for her to come over. Not knowing what I was up to she sheepishly made her way over to me. I held the scoop out so she could look in it and BOOM, she saw her ring, reached in and grabbed it and gave me a huge hug and her tears started flowing. The other 4 of us were totally caught up in the moment.

I love doing this for people and there’s little else that can give you the same feeling of accomplishment.

Bill and Kandi, thank you so much for the very generous reward.

Thank you for reading my Blog.

Lost Wedding Ring at Park in Long Beach, CA…Found.

  • from Redondo Beach (California, United States)

P1020689P1020688

Jacob called me today explaining how he had lost his ring while jogging around his local park. He asked if I would be able to help him, and I told him I would leave immediately to meet him at the park. When I arrived he met me, showed me the area, and I then began asking all the pertinent questions to asses the possible area of the loss. I determined about where the ring would have landed from what Jacob told me. The good thing was that he had heard the ring hit the sidewalk when it dropped, so he had a good idea of where it could have landed.

I began my search in the area he first thought the ring may have landed, and continued forward about 60 to 70 feet checking all signals with my pin pointer. I then heard a nice solid signal with the detector, and looked down to see the ring right about where I thought it may have landed from the sidewalk. The ring was white gold and seemed to reflect the surrounding grass (both brown and green) in such a way as to camouflage it if you were looking down at it. The detector once again played a big part in recovering a ring and renewing its story. It was great to be able to restore Jacob’s smile today. Referred to me by fellow Ring Finder Stan Ross.

If you lose your ring or other metal item of value, call as soon as possible. I will work hard to help you find what you thought might never be found again. I search,  Beverly Hills, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Torrance, Venice Beach, and all parks, yards, gardens, and ponds (to 5 foot depths) in all of Orange County, all of Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.

Lost ring at Coronado dog beach Found!

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

I ran across a Craig’s list ad in the lost and found section that told of a lost wedding ring at the dog beach in Coronado. I emailed Lisa back about TheRingFinders.com service and that I would be willing to look for it if they wished me to. A series of e-mails later, arrangements were made to meet at the beach at a low tide on Saturday morning. That beach gets detected almost daily, so. I just hoped the ring was still there, especially with an active Craig’s list ad.

I arrived early to beat the traffic and find a parking spot easier. I started detecting the beach but I didn’t know the search area yet, so, I just made my best guess on the most popular area. After detecting for a while and finding some targets (a good sign), Lisa’s husband, Olivier, and their son showed up to direct me to where they had been several days earlier when the ring was lost…the other end of the beach, of course! Olivier and son had been playing ball at the water’s edge when Olivier’s ring flew off. I had them give me the dimensions of the search area which ended up being about 80′ squared of wet and dry sand. I started at the middle of one edge of the square and proceeded to cut the square in half and work my way toward the edges. 10′ into my first pass, I had my first target, his ring, and it was in my scoop! They couldn’t believe it and thought I must be some kind of magician! A happy Olivier had his ring back so it can continue it’s story. Thank you for the reward.

College Basketball Championship Ring returned from Clearwater Beach

Derek Claar was swimming at Clearwater beach while on vacation with his wife Ginger and children.  While swimming the gold chain around his neck which held Ginger’s 2003 National College basketball Championship ring broke.  Derek caught the chain but was not able to catch the ring as it fell into the water.  Howard Metts was detecting in the water at Clearwater Beach a week later and found what appeared to be a class ring.  At home he could read a name, Ginger Fanelli and the college name, Mount Aloysius.  Howard and his wife Jeanine googled the name and found that Ginger was on the Mounties college basketball team which won the womens national college basketball championship that year.  He also read that Ginger held a record for points scored.  Jeanine then found through the internet that Ginger had married with a new last name and was able to find a phone number to contact Ginger.  The ring was mailed back to their home in Pennsylvania.   As you can see in the photo Ginger and Derek are quite happy about receiving the ring which they thought was gone forever. Nice work Howard!!!!!!!!!

Wedding Ring returned from Indian Rocks, Florida

Marcus was down from Arkansas with his family for a week of vacation in Florida. He had rented a house on a canal that led to the inland waters of Indian Shores. The house came with two kayaks and Marcus decided it would be fun to try one. He took one down to the dock and launched from the steps. He went about 10 feet, lost his balance and the kayak flipped him into the water. As he was rolling over he felt his wedding band slide off his finger. After he got home again he started looking for some way to get his ring back. He found SRARC on The Ring Finders. We scheduled a hunt and in about 5 minutes the ring was recovered. When we called to tell Marcus we had his ring, he was overjoyed that we had recovered it. It is now on its way to him via US postal service. We would like to see his smile when he opens the mail envelope.

Lost Native Silver & Gold Ring at Locarno Beach, Vancouver…Found

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

It was a hot summer day and I just got home from the beach when I got a call from a young lady who was very upset that she had lost he Native Carved Silver & Gold ring in the ocean. I asked her a few questions and found out that it was lost in high tide and well over my head in water.

I discussed the search and asked if I could meet her at the location so she could describe what happen and show me where she believed the ring was lost. When I got there she pointed out to the float dock and said it was near there where the ring had come off.

Now that I knew the area I checked my tide tool and it said that low tide was at 2am. I told her that I’d be back and search for her ring at night as the tide was going out. When I got there at 11am the tide was still too high. I searched the dry sand for a couple of hours and found some change and the usual amount of garbage. I went back into the water and it was still too deep??? Back to the dry sand and at 2 am still over my head. I checked my phone app for tide tool and it was set for la Jolla California not Vancouver Beaches! The low tide was at 10 am… so I went to my car and slept till 5:30 am got up and worked the tide as it was going out…I found the ring in waste deep water at around 8 am…
