Cost For My Service
I work on a reward basis. That means you pay what it's worth to you to have me find your lost ring/jewelry. I have a call-out fee of $25 if the item is not found. This covers my fuel/equipment expenses. We can discuss this when you call.
Search Types
Beaches, parks, trails & yards. I can also do sustained dives down to 10 feet for shallow waters searches. Lost items in the snow? Please call. If you need a home/property searched for hidden cash, gold, silver, please call to discuss options. I’m also willing to help law enforcement with evidence recovery. It is important to have a general idea where the item was lost, and the location must be searchable with a metal detector.
Search Locations
Lake Geneva, WI, and surrounding communities. Contact me if you are outside my area to discuss travel.
Seth Tost's Bio
I’ve always loved a good treasure hunt, whether it is an organized scavenger hunt or helping a friend or neighbor find something lost. I’ve been metal detecting for five years in fields, lawns, woods, beaches, and underwater while diving. As an elementary school teacher, I have freedom on weekends and summers to help others find lost items. When I’m not swinging for lost treasure, I can be found drumming at my church, playing guitar, writing, hiking or reading to my kids. I’d love to help you, so don’t hesitate to call, day or night.

If you need something found, I highly recommend Seth! (2025)
Mitch here! Seth was great to chat with and expertly found my Pixel Watch 3 in a short amount of time! It was also just fun to learn about the tools of the trade in diving and metal detecting.
I was initially worried the watch would be too much plastic to be found, but I am glad to be proven wrong!
It’s been a few weeks since, and the watch, even though submerged for 24 hours straight, still works perfectly fine and am wearing it currently!
If you need something found, I highly recommend Seth!
Thanks again Seth!
