Erika took her platinum wedding and engagement rings off and set them in her lap. Forgetting about the rings, she stood up. That’s all it takes for rings to hit the soft sand and disappear. After an online search, she found TheRingFinders.com and my contact info. Erika called me around noon time asking for help and I quickly rounded up my gear and headed over to Coronado. Early afternoon, summertime, warm sunny day in Coronado, yeah, parking was going to be scarce. Sure enough, the place was jammed with beach goers. I managed to luck into a spot next to the beach, but, a good half mile south from where I was to meet Erika. A nice hike later,  I met Erika and she explained what happened and showed me where she was sitting and then standing. 20 seconds later, both rings were recovered from right in front of her chair and a happy Erika was reunited with her rings. Lost Ring Found in Wakefield, RI

Lucinda called me for help with finding her ring, a family heirloom.  The beautiful diamond ring was a gift from her mom, who received the ring as a gift from her grandfather when she turned sixteen.  Lucinda was very upset that she had lost the ring while weeding her garden.  She and her husband looked for the ring and even bought a metal detector, without any success.  That’s when they searched the internet for help and found TheRingFinders website. I searched the yard, garden, and pile of brush but didn’t locate the ring.  Behind the pile of brush, there were bushes.  After searching under the bushes, I decided to shake them.  That’s when I saw something fall and discovered that it was the ring.  Lucinda and her husband couldn’t believe it.  She hugged me.  They were so thankful that I could help return this precious item to them!

Wedding Ring Lost At Pine Knoll Shores Beach Found With Metal Detector

Timing can be critical to locate a lost item.  Contact Crystal Coast Ring Finders after trying to pinpoint the area the item was lost.

Jesse was spending the day at the beach with his family and had taken off his ring because he didn’t want to lose it (ironically).  The ring was placed in a pouch of a beach chair.  Later that afternoon, they were packing up to leave and had forgot the ring was in the unzipped pouch. When the chair was folded and transported, the ring fell out into the sand without anyone noticing.  Jesse didn’t realize it was missing until later that night.  After searching all beach items and the vehicle, Jesse searched online and found TheRingFinders.com.

I was on the beach at the time I received his message and was about 8 miles away.  I headed to where Jesse lost his ring immediately.   After a few messages & calls, I had a good understanding of where Jesse’s family traveled on the beach.  My Minelab CTX-3030 hit a solid tone and Jesse’s ring was revealed.

Lost ring at Mission Beach found

Nathan was body surfing at Mission beach when he realized that he was wearing his wedding ring, not something he normally does. In checking the ring to see how tight it was fitting, it came right off and dropped into waist deep surf. With our surf, it will disappear in a second, so, no way to spot it. A sad Nathan now had to go confess to the wife that his wedding band is gone.  His wife wasn’t satisfied with accepting that fate, so, she found TheRingFinders.com on a search and contacted me for help. The ring was lost at a +4 foot tide, so, a minus .7 tide at 5:14 am was just the ticket for this search. Nathan met me at 3:15 am and showed me the search area. He even came out in the surf and helped me keep on my grid pattern. This section of beach was real clean. An hour and half later, I had only found 3 non-ferrous targets, 2 pull tabs and a junk ring. At that point I had changed direction on my grid and now went north-south instead of my earlier east-west. Second pass doing this in ankle deep or less water, and another 16 pull tab reading on my Equinox. Only this time, it looked this was going to be Nathan’s ring. I called him over, and by the light of his flashlight, he saw it was indeed his ring. He now would have a much happier conversation with his wife when he got home. Next month is their 2nd wedding anniversary, so, this recovery will help the ring story continue into chapter 3. A pleasure to meet you Nathan, and thank you for the reward.

LOST WEDDING RING NORTH SHORE HAWAII FOUND

This ring find started from a phone call from my wife. On Saturday afternoon I decided to take our two kids to the beach as she was going to a gender reveal which I decide not go to. While she was at the gender reveal it turned into a surprise wedding. During the transition some family and friends set up the runway where the bride and groom would walk down to say their vows and within minutes the altar was set. My wife along with everyone else was in shock to say the least. Emotions ran high as there was excitement  in the air. At 2:45pm the bride walked down the aisle as her soon to be husband waited for her at the edge of the sand. As the Kahu (Pastor/Officiant) passed the rings to the groom during the ceremony the wedding band fell into the sand but they continued in with the ceremony which ended with the gender reveal, IT’S A BOY!! . But immediately after celebration everyone frantically began looking for the lost wedding band in the sand. That’s when I got a phone call from my wife. I was on the other side of the island with our two children swimming. She explain to me what happened and I comforted my wife and let her know that I am packing up the kids and heading to the house to get the equipment and would be there shortly. My wife in return let the bride know that help was on the way. And that brought her much comfort. The logistics of getting the kids in the car, driving home, getting the equipment and driving through traffic to get to the lost wedding band before the sun goes down and find parking on a weekend is nothing short of a miracle. I arrive at the beach where the kids and I are greeted by my wife and the bride. They escort us down to the place where they believe the ring is at the edge of the runway. I turn on my equinox and started the search. After three sweeps I get a solid tone and ask what am I looking for? Silver ? Gold? Because on my display screen I’m getting a solid silver tone. The bride’s friend runs over to her and gets the other ring and secures it in both hands as she runs back to me. I take hold of the other ring and carefully look inside and in bedded in the ring is 14 K. I give back the ring and let her know I will continue to search and as she turns to walk away I get a loud gold tone and tell her “I have it” The mother of the bride who was also there stopped herself in her tracks and looks at me. I get on one knee and as I remove the sand from the surface low and behold a white gold ring with diamonds. What was lost is now found. I hold up the ring and everyone gave a loud cheer! Another successful recovery and another happy couple. keep spreading the Aloha …

Ring Lost at Pacific Beach found

Jordan was visiting here from out of town and went to the beach with a friend. They were throwing the football around a bit when disaster struck. One of Jordan’s throws was more than just the football. His special ring went with the ball and ended up in waist deep water. Jordan had already left town and returned home when I got a call from his mother Silvia asking if I could help recover it. Surf losses are never a sure thing, but, this sounded fairly straight forward even though it had been a couple of days. At the time of the call, the tide was not in my favor, so, I decided to search a bit after midnight to take advantage of a nice low tide at 2:30 am. The water level at that point should be about 4 feet shallower that when it was lost, so, I was hoping for a wet sand hunt. In getting the details about the ring, I found it certainly was a special ring! It was purchased by Jordan’s grandmother as a wedding gift to Jordan’s father on his wedding day. Not an actual wedding ring, but, a wonderful gift none the less. It’s an 18K, custom, one-of-a-kind beauty that was made in Bolivia and eventually was passed down to Jordan who was devastated that it was lost. This just had to be found! With just a map with an X on it to go by, I started my grid at the south end of the search area. After about an hour and a half of mid-slope to knee deep surf I got my umpteenth pull tab signal (16 on the Equinox) in ankle deep water, but, was happy to see Jordan’s ring in the bottom instead. I texted Silvia that the lost had been found, and that I’d contact her later in the morning after I got some sleep. Jordan’s sister Nicolette lives close by and was able to come by yesterday, pick up the ring, and pose for the photo with Jordan’s football friend. I’m happy everything worked out well, and thank you for the reward.

Gold Ring Found Va Beach

I received a message from Stephanie about a lost gold wedding band with diamonds. I contacted her  and she told me the approximate location of where she lost it. It makes it a little more difficult when you are not able to meet the person and get a little better location. On my first attempt I was not able to locate it mainly due to the amount of people on top of the spot. I decided to hunt the beach and check later. It worked! When I returned the area was clear of people and I was able to grid the entire area off. It ended up being in a different spot that I first grid off. I was able to meet her and surprise her with the find. Gigmaster on youtube!

Ring lost in Coronado found

Anna contacted me about 8:30am saying that her husband of 5 days lost his wedding ring when he shook water off his hand, and the ring went flying off. They’re honeymooning here from Boston and would be leaving the next day, so, they were hoping I could find his ring before they left. Being July 3rd, Coronado has a big parade starting at 10am and would be very crowded soon , so, I had to get on my horse and ride! The trip over wasn’t too bad until I got into town where the parade was to take place. I eventually got over to the beach about an hour later, and tried to find a parking spot. None to be had anywhere close, so, I ended up parking a bit over a mile away. I finally get to the meeting spot in the dry sand where the ring was lost and got the low down on how it was lost and about where it should be. Sure enough, after a couple of scrap aluminum targets in 2-3 minutes, I got a nice solid 11 on my Equinox and pulled the ring out of it’s sandy resting spot. Now the happy newlyweds can head out and continue their life together with the rings they came with. A pleasure to meet you both and thank you for the reward.

Ring lost in Clairmont back yard found

Jay was working at cutting down a tree in his back yard. The tree in question is in the back corner of his yard, where he shares a fence with neighbors. In the process of chain sawing, trimming, and raking, wood chips, branches, and debris ended up on both sides of the fence. Jay gathered the debris in his neighbor’s yard and tossed everything back over a short chain link fence to his own yard for removal. Well, you guessed it, one of his tosses included his wedding band. After discovering his ring was missing, he searched both yards to no avail. Some of the debris was already loaded onto a truck, so, he (and I) hoped that it didn’t end up there. In searching his options, including renting a metal detector, Jay came across TheRingFinders. com website and my contact info. He called me yesterday evening and we arranged to meet at his house early this morning for the search. Jay showed me the search area and re-enacted his actions that most likely caused his ring to come off. With a good idea of location, I started my grid search. Quite a few targets to sift through, but I knew approximately what I should be hearing and seeing on my detector display. Found a sprinkler head blasting my ears and knew that wasn’t going to be it. The next good signal was a solid 18 on my Equinox….hmmm, a bit of a  high reading, but, still in the “possible” range. It read shallow, so, I just pushed some surface material to the side with my shoe. The signal moved, so, I moved the small pile just a little more and could see the outline of a ring. Sure enough, we had a match! As you can see in the photo, the ring color blends in perfectly with the ground cover, so, even sitting on top of the ground, it wasn’t easy to spot. A happy Jay went inside to give his wife the good news. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Lost wedding ring Kailua found

This ring find started with a phone call while I was at work. Jenny called me and asked if I was free and available to come over to Kailua  and help her find her lost wedding ring which is in the water around chest to waist deep. I asked Jenny some important questions to narrow down the search site all the while getting the equipment ready and loaded into the truck. I lock up the business and head out to help find this lost precious rings. Having to travel halfway across the island in the middle of the evening and knowing the sun is setting soon brings upon anticipation and a streak of determination. I Arrive at Kailua Beach and gather the CTX 3030 and the xtreme scoop. I meet the family on the beach and gathered more information concerning the place they believe the ring dropped in the water and the time so I could adjust concerning the tides. I Powered up the machine and had enough information to start looking and  let the family know that the rings are exactly where we will find them. I know this hunt has a time urgency and down the beach I go… I can see the sun setting over the mountains as I enter the water. As I enter I get my first target and dig it. It’s a bottle cap. I hold it up to show the family that it’s not what we’re  looking for. It was excitement in their eyes until they realized it was not the rings. I yelled out I’ll continue to move on and with excitement in their eyes and hope on the edge of the seat the family gazed while I grid the ocean floor. I receive a few other tones that makes me dig and i come up with pulltabs and coins. There in the Pacific Ocean in waist deep water I get a beautiful tone knowing this is the ring. I scoop with caution because it is a diamond ring. I look in the bottom of my scoop and there is one of the two lost rings. I search a little farther and lo and behold I hear the sound of the other ring. I dig and look in the bottom of the scoop and there it is the other beautiful diamond ring shining as the sunsets behind the koolau Mountain Range. I walked out of the water looking at my detector and as the family walks to me I placed one of the rings in the bottle cap and tell the family… well seems like I found a bottle cap and hold out the bottle cap with one of the rings sitting inside of it. And I can hear the joy as they all realize the ring is found. And as they look at the ring that was lost and now found I can see the questions in their head of where is the other one and that’s when I was able to pull out the second ring and say we done it! here is your loss rings that is now found. And as I returned the rings and got the most warmest hugs from the family I got to take a step back and see Such a beautiful family with The heart and care for one another. Truly the Hawaiian way of living… close as always.

I’m thankful I was able to help and I’m happy to know the rings are in the rightful owners hands. Another successful recovery and beautiful sunset to go along with it.
