Ring lost at Pacific Beach Found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Justin and family members were visiting here and spending the day out on the sand at Pacific Beach. While sitting in his beach chair, his gold wedding ring decided to take a sand bath, landing somewhere in a three foot circle around him. Searching the best he could, even using a sifter screen, failed to bring his ring to light. An online search brought him to TheRingFinders.com website and my phone number. A few texts with the pertinent information exchanged, and I was on my way with my wife to help with the awful parking situation normally associated with P.B. As luck would have it, I found parking up close, so, my wife didn’t have to circle, and was able to accompany me to the search area. After meeting Justin, seeing his chair, I had him clear the area for my search. Jokingly, I said that this search might break my record of 10 seconds recovery time seeing as how small the search area was. It was close, but, it might have taken me 12 seconds! A happy Justin can now stay out of the dog house with his wife. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Wedding Band Recovered At Manasquan Beach NJ by Dennis Burlingame

After doing a Google search on lost jewelry on beach Gloria found me on RingFinders and gave me texted me asking for help in locating a lost ring at Manasquan Beach. Told her to meet me there and I’d be there in about 20 minutes. Arriving at the beach Gloria and her husband Michael were waiting for me. They showed me were they were sitting that day. It seems being hot and sunny that day, Michael went to put on sun lotion and in doing so his ring ended up slipping off and disappeared into the sand. They looked for it but just couldn’t find it. This all happened just a few weeks before their anniversary. After doing 4 passes in the area I got the signal I was hoping for and sure enough their was Michael’s ring in my scoop. They were so happy to get it back, and they can have their anniversary with his ring back on his hand where it belongs. The ring hasn’t left his finger since she put it on his finger their wedding day, he showed the indention on his finger. Another happy ending to a great recovery.

Lost a ring?

Don’t wait to call!

Jack lost his Virginia Military Institute class ring while he and his family were in Brigantine, NJ for a beach day. The ring flew off his finger while tossing a ball back to people playing in the ocean. I started a grid search in the water and eventually worked my way toward the shore. Jack and his wife thought they might have been over to the right more, so I walked toward that direction along the shoreline. Three steps later, the sentimental ring was found!

Another gold ring found Sanibel Island

  • from Melbourne Beach (Florida, United States)

I got the call to search for Lorena’s ring at Sanibel Island Beach Resort on July 25th. She had lost the ring in the water at a very low tide. Arriving at the  location I knew I would need another low tide to hunt. Twelve days later conditions were right! The ring was found and mailed to her. Needless to say she was surprised and grateful.

Holgate NJ (LBI) Lost Wedding Ring recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder August 2022

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

Got a call today from Barbara, she was pretty upset after losing her beautiful wedding.  We talked for a bit and determined it must be right around her car in the driveway, hiding somewhere in the small stones in the driveway. I told her not to move the car, and don’t walk around in the stones which could cause possible damage to her ring. After just a short while the ring was back on her finger.

I received a late evening text from Danny.  He mentioned he lost his ring in the shallow surf and asked if I could help.  I checked the tide chart and told him, to his surprise,  I’d be there at 5 a.m.  I brought along a friend to help out and we headed towards the area Danny thought he had lost the ring.  After more than 2 hours of searching both beach and water, his ring was not found.  That same afternoon, my friend informed Danny that he was coming back to search the area once more.  Upon arrival, a family member mentioned a different area that they had set up the day before and the new area was searched.  It was a very short hunt as Danny’s ring was quickly located in the very shallow surf.  It was about the same time Danny and his wife were just coming back onto the beach and were very happy and relieved his ring was found and returned.

Lost ring at Port Huron state park

  • from Mount Pleasant (Michigan, United States)

I found this ring for a lady at Port Huron state park in Michigan. My family and I had went to Port Huron for the weekend and while I was searching the beach a lady asked me if I could help her find her ring that her grandma had given her. She told me that she was throwing a frisbee with her family and she felt it come off. It only took about five minutes to find it. She was really excited to get it back and I was so excited to find it for her that I forgot to take pictures. I went back later to get pictures, but she had already taken the ring back to her car. She did send a picture later, which is the one I posted. I’ll get it right next time. The most important thing is that she got her grandmother’s ring back.

Lost White Gold Ring Found Inside Vehicle in Oakland Township Michigan

The Golden Rider….

…As Kevin was preparing to wash and wax his Camaro, he put his ring into his pocket. Waiting for the wax to set up he started a few other outside chores. Completing the buffing and polishing, he washed his hands, hopped into the car and drove off to his brother’s house. On the way he noticed his ring wasn’t on, so he reached into his pocket. After pulling his hand out there was no ring. Arriving at his brother’s house they searched the car but found nothing. Back at home Kevin and his wife searched all over the place for the ring to no avail. When I arrived, I searched the grass areas with my MXT metal detector with no success. I suggested we look in the car again. With a flashlight I was able to see pretty good all the hiding places the ring may be. Still no success. Reaching under the seat there was an opening in the carpet where wires came out. Reaching into the compartment I felt a round object wedged tightly just at the tip of my fingers. Using a small hook and wiggling the wires a bit I was able to free the object. Pulling it to where I could see what it was, I was thrilled it was Kevin’s ring! Holding it in the air Kevin and his wife came running over totally astonished that the ring was in the car. Thrilled that it was found we laughed at the fact that he had a little golden rider in his golden ride all along and never knew it!

Lost Silver ring recovered on Hove beach

  • from Kent (England, United Kingdom)

Received a call from Antony this afternoon , he explained how during this mornings family’s swimming trip his daughters very precious heirloom silver ring had been lost on a beach in Hove , his daughter had removed her ring and placed it on a towel before swimming, however as the tide was rising , her mother moved the towel further up the beach , not realising that the ring was on the towel , hence the precious silver was lost in the fine shingle .

I arranged to meet Antony a couple of hours later as the tide was now receding, and he was confident he could direct me to the exact area of beach the silver ring was lost , and after a few minutes of detecting the ring was recovered, it was only a couple of inches under the shingle , so a reasonably easy recovery, thanks to both the exact location being known , and a ring finder to recover it .
