Super quick recovery, super short story. I received a message from Bethann. She explained that her husband lost his ring on Trenton Ave beach while playing with their grandchildren in the sand. Rode over and met up with the couple on the beach minutes after she messaged me. After a very brief discussion and search I managed to recover the ring in about 30 seconds. Lost and found gold wedding band in Scugog Lake Ontario

Today’s travel took me to Lake Scugog. Received a text from Doug this morning about his son having lost his gold wedding band while vacationing at a cottage on Scugog lake. Carson was swimming with his dog and while trying to pick him up, he felt his ring slip off his finger in about 5’ of water. His ring was custom made, with gold from his grand father’s ring. The good news is that he had a good idea where the ring slipped off and the bottom had barely any weeds and not too much silt to contend with. Was a quick recovery, perhaps fifteen minutes, and Carson was extremely happy to get his ring back on his finger. Another happy ending. Life is good!

LOST GOLD WEDDING BAND in CHARLOTTE, NC….. FOUND!!!!

I finished the day 2-3 on recoveries, lack of sleep, many hours and miles driven to put smiles back on 2 of the 3 and hopes for the 3rd one it is somewhere in her bags waiting to be found!

While on the ferry ride to Southport coming back from Bald Head Island and after successfully completing my early morning ring recovery. I get a call from a gentleman telling me his wife lost her wedding set in some grass at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC last night. They were able to find the engagement ring, but the wedding band wasn’t able to be found.

They had lots of help from police and pedestrians all trying to locate this ring in the dark!

He found me online and gave me a call. I advised him of my current location/situation and assured him that I could head straight to him once I get back to my truck and change into some dry clothes. Four hours later I arrived and met the both of them. I get my gear ready, get the story, area to search and start the recovery!

About 15-20 mins I get a ring hit, look down to scan with my pin-pointer and I see a ring shaped object! I could just barely see it with the grass already covering it. It would’ve been impossible to see this one with just the naked eye!

After a few photos and “couple embraces” it’s back on her finger where it belongs to stay forever!

Lost Titanium Dental Post Found in Brighton Michigan

Bob’s Got His Smile Back……

While out doing yard chores Bob went into an allergic sneezing frenzy. Falling to the ground he eventually was able to stand up and went into the house to get a cool drink. While enjoying cooling down he noticed his dental post missing. He ran back out and looked around but couldn’t see it and wondered where it went. While on the phone I said it was me Vs. the tooth fairy. While laughing he said he’d rather have his dental post back instead of money under his pillow. On site I started a grid search in the area where he remembers falling down. The ground was very clean with no junk signals. About 10 minutes into the search, I got a good signal and detector meter read of a very small, shallow item. Moving the grass around revealed Bob’s dental post compressed into the ground, probably from him walking or falling onto it he said. Happy he was to get his smile back and happy that the tooth fairy won’t be visiting tonight!

Daniel and Connie were spending a quiet evening fishing at a small lake here in Mahwah. Connie threw something toward the lake and her platinum wedding band came off her finger and fell in the lake. Daniel entered the water and did not locate the ring.

LOST 14k GOLD WEDDING RING IN A TIDE POOL on BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC…… FOUND!!!!

Received a late night text from a gentleman that lost his 14k gold wedding ring on “BALD HEAD ISLAND” on the east beach side where it meets south beach in the “tide pool” while playing with his family.

They were leaving at noon today to head back to Raleigh, so time was of the essence!

I drive down at midnight last night and hit Oak Island for about an hour and a half where a young lady had lost her wedding ring. I didn’t find her’s so I loaded up and made it to Southport ferry for the 6:00 ride over to Bald Head Island. I arrive at 6:30, was picked up by 6:45.

We headed to the opposite side of the island and walked out to the spot. The tide pool has a drop off that goes down to about 7-8 feet and if it was in there I would’ve had to come back to find it with my NEMO/NOMAD MINI.

About an hour later and ONLY getting two signals, I come up with his 14k gold wedding ring!

Happy husband and I’m sure a happy wife too! Now they can go home from vacation with a story and a priceless treasure back where it belongs!

Found Large gold ring George Lake, Angola Indiana

I was on my way to go dive detecting just for fun had all my gear and was ready to hitthe lake when on the way i get a call the lady wondered if i could find a ring for them that they lost in about 7 feet of water. I asked what the address was because i had never been there and had no clue where it was so she text me. It was the opposite directions of where i was heading so i turned around and told them im on my way. I got there and they showed me at the end of there dock about where it was the water clear and you could see a bed of weeds. They said they think its sand under the weed they didnt know for sure. So i put my gear on and went out there and descovered the bed of weeds where about 18 inches think and it was pure muck under them. My fairly easy find just got very very difficult. I searched for a while and was covered with muck and weeds and had to surface a couple of times to get close to the location where she lost it. I prayed God just help me find this one it really meant a lot to them. A little bit later i got through the weeds and in the muck and heard the signal i needed and sure enough there was a massive gold ring with dimonds. I surfaced and they where anxiously waiting and i showed them. They where all cheering and celebrating. I had to go back down so i could walk back up to shore and was tangled up in weeds and the rope that was anchoring the floating mat. I took my time getting untangled because I was NOT letting go of the ring lol. I made it to shore and they could not stop thanking me. I love when all the pratice and hard work comes togwther with the help of God to be a blessing to others. Plus I get to meet very awesome people like this family.

  1. Erica was enjoying a beautiful summer day at the Jersey Shore when a nearly tragic moment occurred. She had taken off her rings to apply sunblock and placed them on her beach chair. Hours later, when she went to sit down again, she suddenly remembered—but the rings were gone.After a long search with no success, Erica and her fiancé packed up for the day and headed to the boardwalk for dinner. While there, she posted on a local Facebook community group, sharing the exact location of where they had been sitting on the beach. Fortunately, someone in the comments saw the post and suggested she call Edward Trapper – the NJ Ring Finder.Erica contacted me right away. Received a call from Laura. She explained that she had taken off her rings while on Diamond Beach in Wildwood Crest in front of The Grande and handed them to her husband while she applied sunscreen. Later he handed them back to her and she placed them on her lap, this all happened on Saturday. Several days later Laura was looking for her rings, which she assumed she had placed somewhere in her home. After checking the usual spots, panic began to set in after she realized that she never picked them back up after her husband handed them back to her while on the beach in Wildwood Crest. Laura contacted me the following Thursday evening. We spoke and she outlined a specific area on a map pic that I had sent to her. I went down that same Thursday evening only to be met with 30-40mph winds and an onshore blown in tide. The beach was a mess as a result of these weather conditions. I still managed to check a fairly large area but with no success. I advised Laura of the conditions and lack of results and told her that I would try another day once things calmed down however I was skeptical at best considering the location she directed me to. A few days later Laura contacted me again and said that a little girl and her grandmother were playing in the sand in front of The Icona Star Beach Bar and happened across one of Laura’s rings! They turned the ring into The Grand staff to be returned to Laura. Laura immediately advised me of what had transpired and the next morning at 5am I went down to check the area where the one ring was found. The area where the first ring was found was about 800yds from where Laura had originally identified to me. I thoroughly checked that area and found nothing but trash. Since I was already there I walked back down to the original area and was able to make a few passes closer to the normal high tide line and BAM got a signal worth checking. Out came the platinum diamond wedding band! Laura spoke with The Grande staff and I picked up the first ring and delivered both back to Laura the following week. She was absolutely elated! Another successful recovery! How the first ring ended up so far from the original spot may always be a mystery but at least they are both back where they belong!
