Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call-out fee of $25.00 if the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses. (Maybe more or less depending on where you are located)

Search Types

Offering metal detecting services on land or in water less than 6 ft deep. Lost jewelry, rings, or other items.

Search Locations

Traverse City MI, Torch Lake in Rapid City MI, and Charlevoix MI. & surrounding areas.

My name is Randy Coates I am 34 years old, I have 25+ years of metal detecting experience, have recovered many lost items and rings for people over the years, over 100 successful recoveries and returns.     Got a call from a fellow ring finder to find a freshly lost ring close to home.  Met the owner and was able to find it just before dark.  The joy was great to see on his face and was happy to be able to help.

  • Lost in the sand (2021)

    Couple messaged about 1am in the morning that were on vacation up north that had lost a ring on the beach, went out the next morning and found it almost instantly. Very very happy owner, and as always was glad to help.  Huge satisfaction seeing the excitement on her face.
