Diamond and Gold Wedding Ring Set Lost, Found, and Returned on Siesta Key Beach, Florida

Joe and Michelle were over from Jupiter, Florida to visit with some of their friends who had come down from St Johns, Canada for a warm weekend vacation at the beach. To be sure Michelle didn’t lose her wedding ring while on the beach or in the water, she put the ring into the pocket on her beach chair. They all enjoyed a great day in the sun at Siesta Key beach. When it came time to go, they folded up their chairs and headed for their car. While loading the chair into the car Michelle remembered her ring. They looked all over the car and then returned to the beach where they had been setting. After searching for a while someone on the beach mentioned that they needed to rent a metal detector. Joe googled lost ring Siesta Key and up popped SRARC on The Ring Finders site. Joe called Mike Miller and Mike headed right down to the beach while they were still there. After a few passes over the area they had been setting in, he hit the ring. When he handed Michelle the ring, she got a giant smile on her face and gave him a big hug. It was great to see the smiles on both of their faces and the hug was awesome. SRARC is glad to have been able to save the day for Joe and Michelle.

5 carat diamond ring lost in Golden, Colorado

  • from Denver (Colorado, United States)

Nadine was visiting her family in Golden, Colorado from her home state of Indiana. While here she helped put in a play area for grand children and then attended a party that night. During the placement of the pea gravel for the play area Nadine noticed that the 5 carat diamond ring given to her by her husband was a bit loose so she took the ring off and placed it the back pocket of her jeans. After working on the play area Nadine had to quickly get ready as her son and daughter-in-law were having a party. The next morning Nadine went to get her ring our of her pocket and it wasn’t there. Her heart sank. The family searched the house and the yard but her ring was no where to be found.

Nadine found my information on TheRingFinders and called me. We made arrangements for me to perform a search that night after work. After my arrival we talked and Nadine showed me around the house and the yard. I grabbed my CTX and headed for the search area in the yard. I had nearly completed my search of the play area when Nadine came out and said I might as well stop my search. She had talked with a woman who was at the party and she specifically remembered that Nadine did have her ring on that evening.

I asked Nadine if she would like me to help re-search the house for her. She was a bit reluctant due to the families diligent search of the house but she agreed to my assistance. I started in her bedroom and searched in her dressers, the bathroom, under desks and in and around the night stands and bed. I ended up going through her laundry hamper, searching each and every piece of clothing very carefully. Finally at the bottom of the hamper I noticed a cardboard bottom and under that the ring was hiding. I placed her ring on my figure and headed up the stairs to talk with Nadine. As I reached midpoint of the stairs I started holding my chin, unfortunately Nadine had her back to me while we talked for 30-45 seconds. When she turned around and noticed the ring she started crying and jumping around in excitement.

Clemson class ring returned in Denver, Colorado

  • from Denver (Colorado, United States)

Tim Hadsell was visiting his sister in the Denver area from his home in Virginia when he lost his beloved Clemson class ring. It happen during a bit of a snow ball fight after a 20+ inch snow fall. A search for Tim’s ring followed but partially due to the time of day, 10:30PM, the ring was not found. They then found my information on TheRingFinders and contacted me the next day. Due to commitments that evening I could only search the following morning and maybe a few minutes that evening.

That following morning I arrived at the search site around 7:30 and searched for 2 hours. But with 16-20 inches of snow the search was unproductive. After work I returned for a few minutes of searching that evening. I expanded my search area and still nothing. Upon returning to the main search area with a good reduction of snow during the day I heard a faint signal from my CTX. I pulled away 12+ inches of snow and  rechecked the signal which had moved. I chased the signal around a bit and suddenly Tim’s ring revealed itself.

Tim got to return home with his ring just a couple of days later.

Lost Gold & Diamonds Wedding Band at Kuhio Beach Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

While on a ring hunt in Waikiki the Umbrella Boys approached me and said a Korean couple had lost and had been looking all day for the wife’s wedding band in the dry sand. They only knew it was Gold and had a name and hotel if it was found. This happened to be the exact spot I was searching for a Swiss couples Gold Wedding Band. I started a North South grid search and found a handful of change. On the East West grid I had a faint low tone so I took a scoop. Nothing! Then on he second scoop I saw the cutest rose and white gold wedding band with Diamonds glistening still in the setting sunlight. I let the Umbrella Boys know and they gave me the Korean couples name & hotel. I called my wife to get the Hotels number and called the front desk. I was looking for Kim Yeon Nam and her husband was put on the phone. I could hear Kim crying with relief in the back ground as her husband told her the ring was found and would be in the lobby in five minutes. We met in the lobby and I handed over the ring after confirming it was the one. Kim’s husband gave me a hug and a handshake and he told me that they were married only yesterday and Kim was so distraught after losing her ring she thought it would never come back. Nice way to end my day. Aloha to Kim.

Wedding Rings lost while throwing out trash in Houston (found) by John Volek

I was contacted by Josh and Courtney today regarding Courtney’s  lost wedding ring. Josh said the ring was lost last night in the parking lot of a local pub in the Houston area.

Josh said, as they exited the pub last night, Courtney picked up a bottle that was laying in the parking lot near their truck. Josh said Courtney walked over to where the dumpster was and threw the bottle in the receptacle. Josh said unfortunately her wedding rings flew off  while tossing the bottle. Josh said they were able to immediately find the engagement ring in front of the dumpster, but they could not find the matched wedding band.

Josh said they searched in the dark for quite some time and returned the next morning armed with a new metal detector. Josh said they search for several hours and were not able to find the missing wedding band.

Josh said Courtney searched the internet and found “The Ring Finders”, and placed the call. I met Josh and Courtney this afternoon to search for her ring. The conditions were really difficult as you can see from the picture,  but Josh’s and Courtney’s picture tells how it ended.

Josh and Courtney were a great couple, and it was great to be able to reunite them with their rings.

Wedding Band Lost for 5 Weeks in Sand .. Corona DelMar, CA. ..Found

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Corona Delmar Beach … Man’s Diamond Wedding Band, possibly lost on popular beach..

Mark called me a little after 5 pm. He said he would have called sooner but didn’t know a service like this existed. He told me that he thought he lost his ring a couple weeks before while on the beach playing volleyball in the sand at Corona Delmar. It’s only 2 miles from where I live, but I was 12 miles away in Laguna Beach..
Traffic was so bad that it took me an hour and a half till I was able to meet Mark and his wife Donna at the location.. After a couple weeks another extra hour shouldn’t make too much difference. I couldn’t promise anything but I could grid the area to verify that it’s not there. Donna showed me her matching ring to help me know what kind of signal I would be listening for.
They took off for a walk down the beach. Returning after about a half hour, Mark asked me if I had tried the area by the trash can. I was just setting up to grid that space. Two swings of my detector and a quick dig with my sand scoop and there was Mark’s ring, I was blown away, because I know this beach and this was definitely going to be a long shot.. I now believe in miracles!
It was so special to him because it was custom made with diamonds from his deceased mother and aunt.. When I handed it to him, he was speechless and very emotional. Then came the man hug.. I was also very surprised when his wife told me it was actually more than 5 weeks sense the loss.. Mark didn’t realize the ring was missing until the day after being at the beach.. This beach gets pounded with metal detectors and the city worker who drives the beach sifter is an over achiever ( it’s a very clean beach ).. I say, ” I’ll will try anywhere ” and this proves it pays off.

A wedding Ring was lost at Oceanside beach And Returned by Theringfinders metal detecting service. Call or text me 760 889 2751

Here is the story written by Lynn Penfield the Mother of Brett who accidentally lost his ring in the sand.

My son lost his wedding ring on a trip to California to visit family. He and his wife were playing volleyball on a beach in Oceanside, California, when he realized his ring was gone. They searched for it, but had to leave before finding it to catch their flight back to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he is stationed with the Navy. Because my husband and I live in northern Wisconsin, there just wasn’t a valid solution to try to find the ring. It was suggested to me I check out craigslist to see if anyone had posted finding a ring. Unsuccessful at that attempt, I decided to post my own craigslist ad. Very quickly I received an e-mail from Curtis Cox in Oceanside, California, offering to go look for my son’s ring. Admittedly, I wasn’t holding out a lot of hope as three days had passed since the ring was lost. These wonderful men took the time out of their day immediately to go search for the ring. When they arrived at the location, a mother was there with her children. John and Curtis spoke to the mother, explaining why they were there. Soon thereafter, the mother approached John and Curtis with a ring her son had found while playing in the sand. A few hours after my first contact with Curtis, John Hughes emailed me stating a ring had been found in the vicinity where my son’s ring had been lost. I sent Curtis a picture of the ring that was taken six months earlier at my son’s wedding. Curtis sent me a picture back of the ring the mother had given them – and IT WAS MY SON’S RING! I was completely floored. Had John and Curtis not been there at that exact moment, the ring would have been lost forever. Instead, it’s now back on my son’s hand a week after he lost it. My entire family is so grateful to John and Curtis for their prompt response and successful return of my son’s ring. These two men are so kind and wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

Lost Gold & Diamonds Wedding Band at Ko Olina Aulani Disney Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

Wednesday evening and I got a call from Shawna from Wahiawa, Hawaii. Shawna explained that when her husband Justin was playing in the lagoon in knee deep water with their adorable daughter Summer she accidentally pulled her Father’s Wedding Band off. Sunset was fast approaching and several tourists on the beach tried helping to locate the ring. The sand in the lagoon is very clean and fine and rings disappear quickly as no one had any luck finding it. One of Aulani’s Beach Attendants told Shawna about “The Ring Finders” and that’s when I got the call. I told Shawna I lived about 30 miles away on the opposite side of the island but if rush hour traffic was through I could be there in 40-50 minutes. By the time I’d get there it would be dark. Thankfully this hobby is Audio and there is enough ambient light from the resort to see in my scoop. We met at the Valet parking area where Shawna & Summer were waiting. We walked together through the resort down to the lagoon where Justin was standing in the water where the ring fell off. I asked Justin to be my waterborne marker and I started my grid search. On the third leg in knee deep water I got my first target and an awesome tone. One scoop and there was Justin’s awesome Wedding Band. I asked Justin to describe his ring again after which I handed him what I found. He said, “That’s it no way.” I explained the detecting equipment is very good and him putting me on the correct location made all the difference. After a firm “Thank You” handshake we went up to the beach to show Shawna and Summer. Shawna couldn’t believe we found the ring which is the case with most lost ring situations. Smiles all around. Aloha to Justin, Shawna & Summer!

Men’s Wedding Band Lost in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA…Found.

Jamie called me yesterday morning to tell me that her husband had lost his wedding ring, and was wondering if I would be available to help find it. I did have a previously scheduled appointment in the morning, and asked her about the loss, and where it happened. She explained that it was a private beach, and had happened the previous day. I knew the beach, and figured there would be no other metal detectorists, and or county beach cleaners going through the area. We agreed to meet after I was through with my appointment.

When we got to the area of the loss Jamie showed me the spot where her husband was pushing the children on the swings, when his ring caught on something, and flipped off of his finger. They had searched with all available help but having no luck. I began my search looking in the obvious direction that I believed the ring would have been sent, being pulled off of his finger. I searched the area very carefully with no recovery, only some nickles, dimes, and pennies. I then went in the opposite direction, which was behind where he was standing, and got a good sound in my headphones. I scooped once, and had a nice unique looking ring in the bottom of the scoop. I put it in my hand and walked over to Jamie to say that I had not asked her what the ring looked like. After doing so, I opened my hand, and asked if it looked like this. She was very happy, and immediately informed her husband, who I am sure was also very happy. It was another good feeling day for them, for me, and for The Ring Finders.

If you lose your ring or other metal item of value, call as soon as possible. I will work hard to help you find what you thought might never be found again. I search,  Beverly Hills, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Torrance, Venice Beach, and all parks, yards, gardens, and ponds (to 5 foot depths) in all of Orange County, all of Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.
