lost wedding ring found in Batavia
Received a call today from a man in Batavia, lost his wedding ring while raking leaves.
It’s that time of year, so many leaves. But fortunately a happy ending.

A beautiful search!
Received a call from a gentleman that lost his wedding ring while crossing a rope bridge at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle.
While crossing the bridge the ring slipped off and fortunately found it pretty quickly hiding in the mulch below.
Happy ending, except I did not want to leave, what a beautiful place to enjoy the autumn colors.
Received a call from Rolling Meadows, lost 2 gold pendants while taking off his sweater. He found the chain but nothing else. He marked the spot where he found the chain. After about 2 hours of searching I finally found them about 30′ from where he found the chain. Always baffles me how things are found so from from the spot where I’m told that were lost, just can’t give up.
HAPPY ENDING!!!
Received a call from a couple in Elmhurst.
Lost her Cartier Platinum Diamond engagement ring while raking leaves. Not sure exactly where in the yard. They kept about 10 bags of leaves in case it got into there.
They purchased a metal detector from Amazon and searched all day with no luck and decided to give me a call.
It was a sizeable yard so I thought this would be a long search especially since I would have to go through all those bags. I decided to check the yard first and leave the bags for last.
after about an hour I got lucky and hit it, it was under a small bush and totally out of sight. Could not get into the bush as it was much to thick but fortunately it was not that tall and my detector hit it while I ran it over the bush.
Her tears of joy once I showed it to her were simply beautiful!
Happy ending.

Kristo is a full time youth pastor at Redeeming Grace Church in Fairfax, Virginia. He was playing a game of volleyball with his church’s youth group when he realized his 14 karat yellow gold classic wedding band was missing from his finger. In the 4 years that he had been married, Kristo had never taken the band off. However, because his fingers were sweaty and he had recently lost a little weight, the very special “symbol of his marriage covenant” apparently went MIA.
The teenagers that were there that afternoon all pitched in and tried to find the missing ring. Twelve of them linked arms together (like a search and rescue team) and sifted across each of the sides of the volleyball court. However, sadly, there was no ring to be found.
At some point the next day, Kristo was told by a colleague about the THE RING FINDERS website – an international directory of metal detectorists who are experts in finding lost rings. He called me on the phone and we immediately set up a time for me to come to his church and help recover Kristo’s lost wedding band.
Once I arrived, my client showed me where he had been playing volleyball and also another area where Kristo had been having some fun with his youth group. Next, we said a prayer to the Lord, asking the Almighty to help me with recovering this very important “symbol of love” for my client. I then got out my metal detecting equipment and immediately got started with the search over by the outdoor volleyball court.
After laying down grid lanes in order to help me not miss an inch, I started to detect one side of the court. I am happy to share that I eventually discovered Kristo’s very handsome 14 karat yellow gold classic wedding band! If one were to face the net from the left side of the court, the jewel was hidden below the grass over by the far left end of the court, almost where the net was tied to the pole!
I could not have been happier for Kristo and that youth pastor could not have been happier for himself as well because he called my metal detecting service in Fairfax, Virginia once he found THE RING FINDERS website! The rest was all praises to God and glorifying the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for guiding me to help Kristo that day!

Yesterday, I was contacted by Nagelli, who was visiting Deerfield Beach with her fiancé Tyler. She had lost her engagement ring at the beach that evening. I was on shift at work but told her I could meet them by about 9AM. She said she couldn’t make it until 10:30. I said if she had the information I could get started prior to their arrival. She had taken perfect pictures of where she had lost the ring. I got to the beach at about 9AM and started to grid the area. Of course there was some people sitting right in the area where I was searching. I explained to them what I was doing and asked if I could look around them. They said I could but the woman seemed very annoyed. She said something but I couldn’t hear it with my headphones on.
After clearing that area, I decided to check a little closer to the water. And bam! The numbers were not what I expected but since I really wanted to find the ring for them I was digging everything at this point. Nagelli had described the ring perfectly. I sent her a picture and she was so excited! I had found her engagement ring! They were about 10 minutes away at this point, so I said I’d wait for them there, just look for the guy with the metal detector 😁
I was very thankful I was able to help this lovely young couple. Congratulations Tyler and Nagelli and best wishes!

Ashley called this morning requesting my service to locate her husband’s wedding ring which he lost yesterday while at work. Ashley gave me Nick, her husband’s cell phone so I called Nick and asked him a few questions. I agreed to search and told him I would be there within a ½ hour.
Nick showed me where the ring could be. He was opening a gate and felt the ring slip of his finger and ended up in the snow. The temperature yesterday was -28 Celsius. This morning Temperature was a cool -32 with a windshield of -40 Celsius.
Nick had searched the area but could not find his ring. It was apparent that a truck had driven over the ring and buried it. I had a hard time to dig the ring out of the frozen packed snow.
Nick was very happy to have the ring back on his finger and he told me the ring was very sentimental to him as the ring belonged to his late father and his wife’s late Stepfather. They had been welded together.
Thank you Ashley and Nick for allowing me to locate your Unique ring.

I received my second call of the day to search for a lost platinum wedding band at a school filled where this young man was sliding down the hill with his kids on a magic carpet. Isn’t quite sure the exact location when the rain came off his finger but he was pretty certain it had to of happened while he was there playing with his kids.
When I arrived, I could see somebody in the area with what look like a Metal Detector and a headlight as it was dark out, turned out it was one of his friends who Jimmy rigged a metal detector with the use of a pin pointer, very difficult but what a great effort and what a great friend to be out there in the dark& cold, looking for hissing.
I took over the search and while I set my grid, we both started talking about the World Cup game turned out. He was a former goalkeeper like me who tried out for the Canadian national team back in the day. He still plays soccer, after about one hour of searching I did find his beautiful platinum wedding band. Tell he was pretty happy as he knew it would make his wife happy to know. He’s got it back where it belongs..
