Platinum 950 Wedding Ring Lost At Jackfish Lake! Village Of Meota, Saskatchewan.

Evrhetton called me on July 9th requesting my service to find his wedding band in Jackfish Lake!
After asking Evrhetton a few questions, he was certain of the location where his ring fell off in the water. He sent me a picture of the area with a marker of the approximate area where the ring could be.
The Village of Meota Saskatchewan is approximately 400km east of Edmonton and a 4 hour drive for me! Again after asking a few more questions I agreed to do a recovery search for his ring but unfortunately Evrhetton was not able to be there due to work commitments which made the search more difficult for me. I agreed to head out early on Monday morning, the 19th July.
Arriving in Meota around 9:30 am I found the lake calm and had a good feeling about this recovery search. Once the markers were set up I began my search. After 3.5 hours and reviewing the pictures Evrhetton sent me, I called Evrhetton and had him talk me through to the exact location. He said he was beside a sea doo and dove to catch a football and that’s where he was certain his ring came off, or 20 feet to the right of the sea doo. After taking a break and re-evaluating the situation I thought that the ring was possibly further out due to its size and weight. I also determined that by throwing the football with force it was quite possible that the ring had flown further out.
I again rearranged my markers further out into the lake. After a six hour search I received a sweet tone in my ears and said to myself “YES, this has to be the ring! I scooped it up and yes I had a ring! After checking the inscription on the ring 07/27/2019, it was indeed the ring that I was looking for. I met up with Evrhetton today in Edmonton and on his second anniversary 07/27/2021.  He was very grateful I that was able to find his ring and once again his ring is back where it belongs, on his finger. Thank you Evrhetton for giving me the challenge of finding your ring.

The 7th Wave…..

….As a storm ended a water volleyball game near the edge of a sandbar last Sunday, Sen and his family made their way back to shore in their small watercraft. Upon exiting the boat he noticed his wedding ring missing. Making plans to meet today I was anxiously studying the weather reports. As I loaded my gear the sky was overcast and the wind was picking up. I enjoyed the scent of the lake and the cooling air as we sped towards the suspected location. Upon arriving I quickly noticed the difference in depth of the water. We jumped in and the cooling feel of the water energized and refreshed me. Thru my snorkel mask I could see the bottom quite well and as I started to grid search a few good size bluegill came over to check things out. Shoulder deep in the water it started to roll a bit with the increase in wind. 3 waves went over my head and even with my weight belt on I felt my feet lift from the sandy bottom. My metal detector sounded off on a few targets and they were all junk metal. Moving along the edge of the sandbar I was greeted with 3 more waves as I breathed thru my snorkel. Continuing my grid search I got a good sounding signal, and partially showing thru the sand I saw a silver colored object. Preparing to recover it I was hit once more with a 7th wave, so I took a deep breath and descended down to the object roughly 6 feet deep. Recognizing it as the ring I grabbed it and headed towards the surface. Swimming to where I could stand above water I quickly held up the ring and in excitement Sen moved towards me and was amazed that the ring was recovered! His Dad and brother saw the ring held in the air and steered the boat towards us. On the way back we enjoyed the cool breeze, adventure and success, riding the waves and laughing that it only took 7 waves to find it!

Lost Tungsten Ring In The Grass Found In West Bloomfield Michigan

Zero Turn Action…..

….and a cooling breeze from acceleration is what Mark was enjoying while mowing his 1/4 acre property. But somewhere his wedding ring came off while flipping between the mower controls. On site I noticed his visually sharp rows and the scent of freshly cut grass. Using the rows as a guide to grid search, I swung my MXT metal detector coil over the ground with no junk targets or iron riddled soil signaling back. Of all the places to search, I concentrated on the shed area where he was fiddling with the mower. Suddenly a good target rang out thru the headphones. Pin-pointing thru the grass, this very handsome Tungsten ring appeared! Texting Mark to come out to the shed he arrived quickly. Asking if I was on a break from the heat I said no! look down! As he reached down to retrieve the ring he asked ..is this where it was? I said yes and this was the best lawn job I’ve ever done!

Lost and found gold wedding ring in Brighton Ontario

Tom and Stefanie were visiting friends at cottage on Lake Ontario near Brighton for the past few days. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving last Friday, Tom lost his gold wedding ring while tossing a ball in the water. After spending numerous hours looking for the ring with their friends, they had pretty much given up hopes of ever seeing the ring again. With a bit of searching online, they found me on the ring finders website and asked me if I could come out and look for the ring even though they had already left for home. Fortunately, the owner of the cottage, Kevin, was still there and graciously allowed me access to search for the missing ring. My biggest concern with this search was that the ring was lost five days ago and we had substantial winds/waves the past few days. This makes sandbars move quite a bit and can easily bury an item so deep that a metal detector may not pick up the signal. Well, Tom is a lucky man. After 4 1/2 hours of searching, I picked up a faint signal, about 10 inches deep, which ended up being his beautiful ring. Another happy ending.

Lost White Gold Cartier Wedding Band at Four Seasons Ko Olina…FOUND!!!

This ring find began when I got a text on my phone that read, “I need a ring finder”. I immediately called and Shelbie from Midland Texas, on her honeymoon and staying at the Four Seasons Ko Olina told me her husband Trey lost his White Gold Wedding Band in about three feet of water while returning back from swimming. I told her not to worry that I was in Waikiki and would retrieve my gear and head out to the resort. I assured her if the ring was in the three feet depth of water I would surely find it. I sensed quite a bit of stress in her voice and I wanted her to remain calm. Rush hour traffic hadn’t started yet so the 28 mile trip only took 35 minutes. When I arrived I called Shelbie and she said her and Trey were down on the beach so I grabbed my gear and headed down. Trey showed me the area and was sure the depth would have been about three feet deep. Since it was two hours earlier the tide was on an incline so I decided to detect out to high chest depth to account for the rise. Rey and Shelbie sat on the shoreline as I hunted. On about the 4th leg of the grid I got a screaming “16” on the Nox in chest deep water and on the third scoop there was the Cartier Love Ring shimmering in the scoop. I yelled to Trey “Got it!” We met in the water and I allowed Trey to remove his ring from the scoop. He immediately thanked me and put the ring back on his finger. Shelbie and Trey were so grateful and I hope they now can relax and enjoy the Aloha of our Islands.

Lost Apple Watch Found Avalon NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey

I received a call from Bailey about her lost her Apple watch in Avalon NJ yesterday evening. Bailey said that she had been sitting in the sand when the magnetic wristband unknowingly came apart.

She was unable to find it after searching the next morning, so she contacted me after seeing a friend’s Facebook post.  Shortly after my arrival to the beach she used her iPhone GPS to find the approximate location.

I then started a grid search of the area, and within a few minutes the Apple watch was found!

Lost wedding ring found

This ring find started out in the afternoon when I got a call from Bre telling me that she lost her wedding ring at the beach. I got home and talked to my wife about the unpleasant lost. She encouraged me to go out to the other side of the island to help Bre and see if I can find this loss Ring. I packed up my truck with my equipment and head out to the west side. While on my way to Maili Beach I’m in traffic and I ended up getting rear ended.  Bre is waiting for me and I need to update her on my situation. When I called to explain to Bre she quickly empathized with me and said maybe we should set this up for another day. I immediately deferred said I am halfway there and the sun is setting soon so it will be best if I get out there as soon as possible and give it a try. I arrive to the beach and was met by Bre and her beautiful family. She explains to me the area of which she was swimming with her family two days prior when she lost the ring. I gathered my gear and turned on the Equinox 800.  as I started to enter the water I noticed there were a lot of targets and the place I was looking in was at the end of a river mouth runoff.  The amount of trash and targets i found filled my pockets. After searching for a couple hours I realized that maybe I need to come back when the water visibility gets better as it’s murky and cloudy. As I start to head in, I hear a faint sound and thought to myself, should I dig it or just wait until another time? I decided to give it a dig and after three big scoops there in the bottom of my extreme scoop is a beautiful Hawaiian heirloom diamond wedding ring. I look up to notice Bre and the kids sitting on the shoreline. I approach Bre with a few questions concerning the ring. But, I noticed she doesn’t have her mask. Because when she came down to meet me at the beach i noticed it in her hand. And now no mask! I asked her… where’s your mask and She told me a young gentleman named Keone young came up to her while I was searching and asked if he could borrow it so he could look for his keys that he lost while surfing and when he finds it he’ll come back and help her take a look for her loss wedding ring. Well, after hearing that story I noticed she was on a FaceTime call with her sister. I asked her sister explain to me what the ring looks like and she along with Bre describe the ring that I found. As the FaceTime call is transpiring I tell the family well there’s no need for me to ask anymore questions because… and that’s when I pulled out my hand and in my finger tips I held the once lost ring and said “ it was lost… but now found!” And they both were excited and shocked. I gave the ring back to Bre and said it’s time for me to rinse off. I head over to the showers and start to rinse off my equipment when I get approached by a young gentleman with a longboard. He asked me did you find it? The ring! I smiled and pulled out the ring and let him know it was lost and now found. With a big smile on his face holding his hands in the air was a mask and a string with a key! This  was Keone Young the surfer Bre told me about lending her mask to and here he is just as excited as we are because he found his key. Bre, Keone and myself all grateful and sharing  stories filled with Aloha and as we rinse off the sun started to set behind us which gave a warm feeling of bliss. We all agree that this day was filled with blessings and to find the things that was lost means so much to us. Another great recovery and another happy family!

I was tagged in a Facebook post on Friday evening about a class ring that was lost in the ocean in Sea Isle City, NJ. Alisa called me and explained how her daughter Rachel lost her class ring while surfing on Friday. The initial attempt on Saturday morning was limited due to high tide, so we met again later in the afternoon to go out farther.  After a through grid search from the water’s edge to chest deep water, the Sacred Heart Academy class ring was found and returned!

Lady’s 14K White Gold Engagement Ring Lost in the Sand, Found and Returned Sunset Beach, NC

This adventure started with a Sunset Beach NC Face Book post saying in part, “on vacation and a friend had lost an important piece of jewelry, and we’re looking for someone that has a metal detector.” Someone responded to her post with my information. So, about 8:30 Friday night, I received a call from Victoria.  She started with telling me about the Face Book posts and was calling to see if I could help. I was ready! She also said the ring was lost in the dry sand, on the right side of the pier. She added that it was very unlikely the high tide would not reach the ring. I suggested we meet in about 30 minutes. I think Victoria was a little apprehensive about meeting a strange man, at night, on a dark beach, which I totally understood. She wanted to meet at noon the next day, which I had concerns with. Knowing that Sunset Beach is a big tourist destination in the summer, parking would be an issue. There would also be shoulder to shoulder people on the beach, at noon, on a Saturday. I also know that Sunset Beach is heavily detected by both locals and tourist. She understood, but noon it was.

I arrived about 10:30 a.m., figuring I’d be lucky to find a parking spot. Surprise, I got the last ‘free’ parking space on the Island, I think.  Since I had an hour and half to burn, I started detecting the beach. About 11:30 a.m. I text Victoria telling her ‘I was there,” and She immediately responded saying, “we are parking now.” We met up on the beach and Victoria introduced me to Jennifer, the young lady that lost her engagement ring. Victoria led the way across the top of the beach until we reached the area. Victoria had the presents of mine to tie one of her hair bows to a tiny bush growing up through the sand at the bottom of a sand dune. Jennifer wasn’t sure how far her ring may have flown off her finger when she had turned around while they were packing up to leave. I confirmed with Jennifer that I was looking for a white gold ring as I turned on my Equinox. On my second line, I got a solid 6 on my VDI, meaning ‘white gold.’ I looked over at Jennifer as I scooped up the sand. I gently shook the scoop to empty the sand out and saw some shells and Jennifer’s beautiful engagement ring at the bottom of the scoop. I walked over to Jennifer, held out the scoop, and let her remove her ring. She got a big smile on her face when she saw her ring.
