Lost Diamond Gold Ring Found After Being Lost for 2 Years in Ogden, Utah

I received a call from Lou regarding his lost ring in Ogden Utah. He explained that he had been working in the yard and at some point the ring came off his finger. They tried searching through the weeds he was pulling and even got a metal detector to help with the search. It was a gold ring with 3 diamonds through the middle and he referred to it as his “old friend” since it had been with him for 23 years. He also told me that he had lost it two years ago and was looking to replace it but wanted to give it one last attempt.

When I arrived at his house, he showed me the area he had been pulling weeds and since it was along the side of the house, I knew there would be a fair amount of interference. I used my smaller coil and started to grid off the area. After a couple pieces of trash, I got a very clean signal close to the surface about 6 feet from where Lou was working. I brushed some dirt back and sure enough, it was his ring! The search took about 15 minutes. After 2 years of being lost, Lou has is “old friend” back!!! So happy Lou gave me a call.

I was called to help Will and Rachel look for their lost diamond engagement ring and they described to me that it went flying across the yard and was nowhere to be found! (Every search for rings is completely different and this one was no exception!). Will told me that he had even bought himself a cheap metal detector and spent a few frustrating hours trying to figure out how to operate the machine. Later that evening they decided to go online and search for someone to help them and they discovered theringfinders.com website. He read some of my stories and decided to give me a call and that led to meeting up the next day at their home. On this occasion I decided to invite my dear wife, of 42 years, to go along and she agreed to accompany me! Will and Rachel were very pleasant, friendly and super thankful to have more help in their desperate search and after a few minutes I began my systematic grid search of the front yard. I spent over an hour covering the whole front lawn, the flower beds, the neighbors yard and even out into the street….and no ring! It was there somewhere but I just could not seem to find it. I mentioned to my dear wife to take Rachel and look over the street really good and then to check the other side of the road as well. A few minutes later we heard Rachel let out a scream, “I found It!”! And sure enough there it was on the edge of the street laying plainly in the open so anyone could see it…waiting for Rachel to come along and pick it up! How I thank God for allowing us to be a help and encouragement to Will and Rachel and to see them smiling and happy once again!

Call or text me ASAP and lets talk about how I can help you!

The Ring Finders Metal detecting service helped find a lost gold wedding band ring at Moonlight beach Encinitas,California. Call Curtis Cox 760 889

Recently I received a referral to find a lost Gold wedding band at the beach from a local Ring Finder John Hughes who was originally called and referred from the Lifeguards.

The couple contacted me on a Sunny Sunday may 7th with just a few questions & concerns,,I jumped in my vehicle arriving around 30 min.  They spotted me walking down so we began to go over the story showing an area where it might be lost amongst the crowded beach goers…I turned on the metal detector and dug a dime,Nickel & Called them over when I received a particular signal similar to gold yet better than a nickel,,So I used my hand as a scoop to remove that signal from the sand while holding just my hand open when nothing happened….Once I blew the sand off my palm is then when Ty’s Precious gold ring magically appeared. :):):).  To my astonishment I was also blown away as the beach goers all around roared with cheers clapping as they watched this unfold…

This search took less than a minute to find it..But really it just takes one phone call to Curtis Cox 760 889 2751  ((The San Diego metal detector service.)) Member of TheRingFinders.Com

Carats for the horses!!

  • from Kilgore (Texas, United States)

Today I received a message from Tommy saying that they lost a wedding ring. I call him and he said they were throwing carrots to the horses and all of her rings flew off. We chatted a bit more and I decided to head right over. When I arrived Tommy and his fur babies greeted me. Tommy then walked me over to the pasture and showed me the grid. He mentioned they already found two of the three ring. I looked at the decent sized area and started swinging. I looked through the whole area to no avail. I started to look again, just in a different direction. I didn’t even go five feet, when I heard that sweet sound. I looked down and saw something shiny. At first I thought it was a play ring. I said, “is this it?”. His eyes got so big as he said YES! At that point I didn’t know who was smiling harder. This was my first ring found with The Ring Finders and hope there are many more to come.

Lost Ring in Backyard

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Dustin after he lost his ring. Dustin said his ring came off after tossing some muck from the pool skimmer over the railing behind his pool. He remembered hearing a sound like the ring hit the concrete. There were a few small trees and lots of underbrush to cover the ring. After I was shown the area I went to work working in sections. Almost 5 minutes later I found the ring.

… I received a early morning text asking help to find three rings lost the day before. Lisa told me that the rings were set on the towel while putting on sunscreen. She didn’t realize them missing until they were driving home.

The next morning Lisa and her husband went back to the beach with a metal detector they purchased at a sporting goods store. Knowing they didn’t have any experience with a metal detector. They called me to ask for help. I asked them to claim the area so nobody set up in the search site.

I met them on the beach after they spent an hour with the metal detector none of the rings showed up. We were lucky that the beach cleaning machines had not worked the beach that morning.

I set up my machine knowing we had three targets which made the odds of finding the lost rings better. I didn’t start in the best area, but I did get a single signal as I narrowed down the search location. Everyone was starting to lose nope. Then I got a single signal with no other signals near it. One dig with the sand scoop prove to be a yellow gold Cartier Love ring. I called Lisa over to claim the ring as I swung my detector coil for another signal. No signal.

When I looked back in my scoop, there were two white gold rings hiding in the silver colored stainless steel scoop. Amazing and another learning experience for me. They must have been laying together or maybe the thicker yellow gold ring dominated the signal. The most important fact was these irreplaceable sentimental rings were saved and back where they belong.

It’s always a gamble to try a beach search after days have past on our Southern California beaches especially on the dry sand towel areas. I’ve learned that we can’t give up. Part of the search process is to confirm that the lost item is not there. I try to give people that ask for my help that information so they understand how it works. I use the best metal detectors and have experience using them. If the item isn’t there, I can’t find it, but in most cases I can verify it’s not there. Which helps people to eliminate an area. Finding lost items is a process of elimination..

… JONES called me after losing his Texas A&M Gold Ring in the sand at a Southern California beach.. He said he didn’t feel it come off.  It was going to be dark by the time he could meet me on the beach. JONES said he believed the ring came off when he rinsed his hands off in the cold water.

We met on the beach as the tide starting to come up. After looking at all the possibilities to where the ring could be lost. I elected to search the towel line because that’s where he spent most of his time on the beach. Also the tide had already advanced high enough that tomorrow’s low tide would be best time to go for the ring. He hadn’t spend much time at the water’s edge and did not feel the ring come off his finger.

From my experience the ring had a better possibility of being in the area he spent most the day. Tomorrow the city beach cleaning machines will be sifting the sands and the usually hit the towel line thoroughly.

After about 20 minutes the big heavy gold Texas A&M Aggie ring was recovered. Jones was a happy guy. These rings are very coveted by graduates of Texas A&M. I was also happy that I guessed the ring was in the dry sand and I hadn’t wasted time trying to find it in the crashing surf.

I can search cars, homes and water where metal detectors can’t be used. I you need advice or assistance looking for a lost or misplaced valuable please feel free to call or text.

… Sean’s family is visiting Newport Beach for a week He went surfing and put his gold necklace with a Gold Cross pendant in his backpack. Later that evening the chain and pendant were not in the Back pack.

His Aunt contacted me 3 days after the loss. They believed the jewelry may have been pulled out of the backpack when taking the towel out.

She met me on the beach telling me that the missing necklace was a gift to her nephew when he was very young.

I told her it could be findable even though several days had passed. Chains can be a challenge with most detectors. I proceeded in a large area that she showed me. Still aware that they were not sure where the loss occurred. The item wasn’t missed until they returned to their rental house four blocks away.

The recovery was made on the beach in the dry sand. It was such a broken up signal in my earphones I almost didn’t dig it..

Sean was just coming out of the water just after I found the necklace.. It was a pleasure to hand it to him. He was more than elated and very appreciative for my help.

If you or anyone you know has  lost a precious sentimental item, I can help you. Besides metal detectors, I have tools to search cars, inside buildings, in the water, etc. Call for information ..”I WILL TRY ANYWHERE “ Stan the Metal Detector Man … 949-500-2136

Steve and his friends were in Ocean City, NJ when he lost his wedding band during a beach volleyball match. It got knocked off his finger after he hit an incoming ball, and he was not sure where it landed. He called me and I met him a little while later to start the search. I started in the area where he stood during the game and worked back and forth in the sand court. The ring rang up on the opposite side of the net and the group was able to go back to enjoying their time at the shore in Ocean City, NJ.

The Ring Finders Metal detecting service helped find a lost gold ring at a Carlsbad beach. Call Curtis Cox 760 889 2751

Here’s another quick search and easy recovery of a lost woman’s gold wedding band in the beach sands.  Megan had lost her ring the night before and contacted me to see if I could help. Fortunately I live nearby Carlsbad Ca, So I met her husband after work hours to the location.

They weren’t really sure when it disappeared just that they parked in the dirt “Turn around” parking lot then walked down the cliff path to the shoreline. Trouble I have experienced with these calls are too & from areas with compact dirt,Pavement & public goers passing by where a Gold ring would shine,be seen and picked up.  Only one of these search areas in the photo below was worth hope or even turning on my Metal detector!

So I had him bring me down to where they hung out for a bit on the dry fluffy beach sand…Well…Sure enough,,,I turned on my machine,,It beeped and with my bare hand scoop I unearthed this precious wedding band. They were very relieved and thankful for my help. This search took less than a minute to find it..But really it just takes one phone call to Curtis Cox 760 889 2751  ((The San Diego metal detector service.)) Member of TheRingFinders.Com
