LOST GOLD ENGAGEMENT RING IN MOCKSVILLE, NC……….. FOUND!!!!

Received a call from Caleb that his newly engaged to fiancé Nichole (less than a week), had lost her engagement ring while out tending to the farm animals on their farm. They had looked for hours into the night with flashlights, metal detectors and many eyes to no avail.

We set up the date/time for me to come out to attempt to locate and home to give it back to Nichole.

I got off at 2pm, drove 2 hours and met up with Nichole and her mom. They proceeded to tell me the details, areas to search based on where they were and what they were doing leading up to her losing her ring and later realizing she had lost it on the farm.

We started in the goat pens 3 without goats and 2 with goats. I cleared them and then proceeded to the other areas to search. I cleared them and then expanded my search a little further from the areas in question. I kept going over them over and over again for over 2.5 hours!!

Finally, as a LAST effort to clear one of the pens that had goats in them. I stepped back in and scanned the pen with the female goats were being kept and heard a signal in the hay. Bent down and used my pin pointer and BOOM there was her ring! I had just barely missed it the first time I had gone in there!!!

Her mom had known I found it and we set up a story/surprise to capture her reaction on video!! Her reaction was PRICELESS!!!!

It’s moments like this, passion for the hobby and surprise of reuniting the item to its owner, is why I do this hobby and am a proud member of “The Ring Finders .com” Directory!

Heirloom, Gold Signet Ring Lost, Recovered and Returned in Ardmore, PA!

Louis found me in the Ring Finder directory after losing his heirloom, gold signet ring while trimming hedges at his Ardmore, PA home. I met him next day and he showed me the area where he thinks it fell off. It was obvious he had been searching for it…the area was thoroughly raked and barren of refuse. I told him not to worry…if it was there I would find it. It was maybe a 25 foot length hedgerow in the front of his house..he was convinced it was prob deep in middle of hedgerow amongst the roots. I wasn’t convinced and thought I would first scan the grass that runs parallel to hedge row…search the easy area first! I was about 20 feet into my search and received a strong surface gold signal on my machine. I bent down and I could just see a gold circle pressed into dirt…it was immediately obvious to me that Louis probably stepped on it while searching for it. Louis was standing  behind me…i stood back up and pointed downward. He walked up to me…bent down…and plucked his precious gold ring out of the dirt.  was very happy to be able to return his ring to him!

Amazing, Sentimental Huge Gold Cross Lost, Recovered and Returned in Media, PA!

Shanna and Andrew were referred to me by fellow Ring Finder, John Favano. Shanna’s husband, Andrew, was playing soccer with some buddies when his necklace chain broke in the middle of the field. He stopped immediately and was able to catch the chain but somewhere in the commotion the huge gold cross slipped off. The way they described the cross over the phone I thought they would find on their own for sure without aid of a metal detector…but after several hours no luck. So off I went to assist…the cross was extremely large, ornate and sentimental. Andrew had acquired while in Navy and it meant the world to him. When i got there and saw the field…I was still surprised they didn’t find…yes it was a large area but they knew where the chain broke and the grass was cut short. I turned my machine on….and started a methodical grid search…even at that point I figured I would see with my eyes before my detector picked up. But NO….as I’m casually scanning i stop in my tracks when I get a booming mid tone signal. I look down and there is this huge, amazing, pirate treasure looking, gold cross! To see the joy on Andrew’s face when I handed his cross back to him is why I so much enjoy being part of the Ring Finders!

Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered & Returned in Yardley, PA!

Received a Saturday afternoon text from Joel regarding his lost gold wedding band. We immediately got on the phone and he told me he was working with his garden hose in his backyard the day before when he felt the ring slip off is finger while pulling the hose from the storage wheel. He was convinced it fell right there in the 3-4 inch high grass….he searched for hours on hands/knees, raked the area and even bought a metal detector on amazon….but he could not find it! He mentioned his lost ring to a friend….and it turns out I had found that friends lost ring with my metal detector several years prior. So they tracked me down and I got the call. I met Joel at his house the same day he texted me…he was surprised at my confidence when I said I would find his ring in less than 5 minutes….turned out it took me 6 minutes! I was happy to be able to return his ring to him!

Yesterday afternoon, I received a frantic call from Jenny, her voice trembling as she described losing not one, but five precious rings at Carpinteria State Beach. She’d tucked them into her beach bag before a swim, only to discover they were gone when she got home. Ring lost in San Diego found

While toweling off at the beach, one of  Gokul’s diamond stud gold earrings was snagged, popped off, and into the soft sand it went. Try as he might, he just couldn’t find it. He searched online for help, found TheRingFinders.com, and called me the next morning asking if I was available to search. Sure, I was available, but, Gokul decided to personally try again with a small sieve to sift the sand in the search area for his earring, and would call me back if he still needed help. An hour and half later, I got the call. I grabbed my gear, stopped and picked up my buddy Dave and headed to the site. We found Gokul at the search area and got the story on the loss. He had a match to the lost earring, so, Dave and I at least had something to go by. Wow, not much of signal on this little earring. As I started my search, I immediately got a decent signal which turned out to be the earring back. Ok, that’s a good sign that we’re in the right area. Shortly after, Dave got an iffy but repeatable signal and turned it over to me since I had the pin pointer. After chasing the signal a bit, I finally zeroed in on the signal. Success!  A happy Gokul could now head home with both his ear lobes complete. A pleasure to meet you and thanks for the reward.

Ring lost at Pacific Beach found

Elise was enjoying Labor Day at the beach, but, after rubbing some lotion on her hands, her precious gold ring given to her by her sister, slipped right off and into the soft sand, turning the sweet day suddenly sour. The next day after an online search brought her to TheRingFinders.com, she contacted me for help. Even though our local beaches get swarmed by detectorists on a holiday weekend like this, it was still worth a try, so, I got all the particulars and agreed to meet her at the location. Elise sent me a photo of the ring showing that it wasn’t an actual ring in shape, but, a horseshoe shape. Knowing that now, the I.D. number would be impossible to predict, but, probably a lot lower than if it were a complete circle. I started my grid and scooped anything that wasn’t iron. After a bunch of gum wrappers reading 1-4 on my Equinox 900, a few other bits of foil, a couple of coins, I get another sketchy 2-3 reading. Probably another gum wrapper, but, surprise, surprise, it was her ring. A happy Elise can now go home and relax now that the lost has been found. A pleasure to meet you Elise, and thank you for the reward.

LOST PLATINUM 4CT DIAMOND WEDDING RING in BLACKSTONE, VA…… FOUND

I received a text at 7:30 this morning from a lady that was heartbroken she had lost her wedding ring set in the grass. She couldn’t believe she couldn’t just see it in the grass. It’s platinum two rings soldered together with a big 4ct diamond!!
She had reached out to other people and couldn’t get anyone to respond or commit. She even borrowed a metal detector and tried finding it herself with no luck. She was up all night long on her hands and knees pulling grass and racking the grass trying to find it. I get there at about 12:30 and she was still searching for it!
I drove 2 hours and 15 mins, get out and talk to her for a few mins and get set up and begin. 20 secs or less later 1st signal and BOOM, I get a solid hit! I move the grass back and I can see the ring! I tell her I found it and I snap a quick photo in the grass then on the stairs and hand her, her ring!
She was so happy and relieved to have it back!
The feeling of finding and returning something like this ring NEVER gets old!

LOST TUNGSTEN RING in CARY, NC………….. FOUND!!!

Got a call from this young man. He lost a ring that his mom bought him on the football practice field. He laid it in his flip flop shoe. As he was about to leave and put his shoes back on. He kicked the ring out and couldn’t find it. Drove 30 mins, 2.5 min recovery and 30 mins back home.

I received a call about a lost gold man’s wedding ring while he was playing with water balloons on a hot summer day with the family. We was able to setup a day and time to perform a search. I started the search in the area where the water balloons were being fill and thrown with no luck. I continue throughout the yard until the ring was found. He is very happy to have the ring returned to him.
