***I received a call from this young man you told me that several days prior to him calling me he was standing in about two feet of water skimming rocks into the water at which time he felt his ring fly off his hand.  He told me the next day he bought a metal detector and tried to find his ring but but did not have any luck at all.  I informed him that if he directed me to the right area where he was in the water when he lost his ring that I believed I had a good chance of finding it even thou it had been a few days.  He was very hesitant because my profile did not show any recoveries. I informed him that I have recovered hundreds of rings but those recoveries were from different States and I could not display them in my Florida TheRingfinders profile. I texted him photos of many of my recoveries and informed him he had nothing to lose by letting me try and find his ring as there was no charge, if found reward only.

After searching for about a little over 1 hour I was thrilled to see the look on his face when  returned his favorite ring.

On 04/16/2022, I received a call from Ben who requested my help in finding his Lexus car keys that had been lost in the sand on the beach at Dewey Beach, Delaware. Ben and his girlfriend had spent the day relaxing on the beach and when it was time for them to leave, he realized that his car keys were missing. Ben felt that his car keys had been lost in the sand on the beach in the area that they had been sitting. I responded to Dewey Beach, made contact with Ben and he showed me the area of the beach where they had been sitting during the day. Ben had marked the area with a pair of sandals. Upon searching the area I was able to locate the lost in the sand and returned them to Ben.

Plumber Looses Ring While Digging Ditch in Dallas

  • from Dallas (Texas, United States)
Contact:

We got a call from a local team of plumbers who were digging a ditch in the cold December Texas weather and one of the men lost his wedding ring.  He was frantic, fortunately, we were available and went quickly to the site.  The hole was 4ft deep and full of horrible muddy water and muck.  After several passes with our large Metal Dectortors, we switched to our handheld detectors and checked all the walls by nearly standing on our heads reaching into the mucky muddy water hole.  But luck & skill were with us and we FOUND the man’s ring.  He was so excited, it was so funny watching 4 big plumbers jumping up and down and dancing in the front yard of the home.

Mothers diamond ring, lost by daughter while spring gardening in chicago, recovered.

  • from Las Vegas (Nevada, United States)
Contact:

I received a message from a senior lady who had lost her mother’s ring while doing spring gardening cleanup in Chicago. I used my xp deus 1 to search the garden. She didn’t know how she had lost it, but assumed it came off when she took off her gloves. There were a lot of metal objects in the area. I found it next to a metal fence. The signal was very iffy, but I used my pinpointer to find it. It was buried under wood chips. The iffy signal may have been caused by the two tone gold and the diamonds along with the metal fence. Glad I was able to recover it for her.

ENGAGEMENT RING FOUND IN BATON ROUGE,LA-ONE DOWN ONE LEFT TO GO

  • from Lafayette (Louisiana, United States)

Lauren called me around noon on a Tuesday. She had lost her engagement ring and wedding band on Sunday at an event called “Touch a Truck”. A wide variety of trucks, construction equipment, an ambulance, a helicopter, etc. were positioned in a large (over 3 acre) field for the inspection by adults and their children. Lauren and Corey took their young children to see and play on many of the exhibited vehicles. Starting out the adventure, Lauren placed her wedding rings in her pocket before applying sunscreen to the little ones. She also placed her phone in the same pocket. She took many photos of the kids, each time pulling the phone from her pocket. She noticed the rings missing when she returned to the car.

She sent me a map of the event and some photos she had taken. These photos would help me locate the areas where she had taken her phone out of her pocket. Carrie wasn’t feeling well, so I loaded up the equipment and took off alone. I decided first to go for pure luck and make passes the length of the field (600 feet) focusing more on sight than the detector since the area was very trashy with a very noisy detector. Also, the grass was short and not very dense. After a few passes I decided to check the photo and focus on where they were taken, and the phone removed from the pocket. One photo, which turned out to be the first one taken, showed a distinctive lone tree with a tree line behind it. From the photo I sectioned off a possible area where the photo was taken and hopefully the phone was removed from her pocket. I was making my turn to start the final pass in the hunt area and the engagement ring was sitting on top of the ground/grass in full view. I sent a photo to an ecstatic Lauren. Her husband Corey came out to collect the ring and help with analyzing the other photos to look for other hunt areas. After another 2 hours of hunting for the wedding band, I decided to call it a day and come back another time to continue the hunt. Thank you, Lauren, for the generous reward.

LOST PRICELESS FAMILY HEIRLOOM RING in Ceder Grove, NC…….. FOUND!!!!!!

Got a call last night from this sweet lady. She had lost the ONLY thing she had from her mother, while doing yard work. Why is it the ONLY item? Because her dear mother had passed away when she was just 5. 😞
Story continues and gets more interesting….. Many YEARS later. Her father passed away at the age of 90 years old. He left a safety deposit box and this ring was inside. It was the first time she had seen it or even knew of its existence. Needless to say she was heartbroken! She looked for it for 2 days, but couldn’t find it. She finally took to the internet to search for help, found my page and reached out! I told her I’d be there first thing this morning. Drove the hour long trip, get there, got my gear and found this priceless heirloom in just 5 mins! She was so thrilled and couldn’t believe I found it so fast! She was full of joy to have her moms signet ring back!
I love putting a smile back on people’s faces after they’ve lost something so dear to them and irreplaceable!

I met up with Dmytro and he explaind that he took the floor mat out of his car and shook the snow off it,  then he took his glove off and thats when his ring fell off his finger and into a snow bank.   Within five minutes I found his ring and handed it back to him! Dmytro was very happy to have the ring back on his finger.  Thank you Dmytro for entrusting me to find your ring.

10k Gold Ring Lost @ Bus Stop! Kirkness Neighbourhood, Edmonton Alberta

Braden called me this moring requesting my service to find his 10k gold ring which he had just lost while at a bus stop. Braden told me he reached in his pocket to retrieve his bus pass and felt his ring slip off his finger.  Edmonton  had received 4 inches of snowfall  over night and I knew that the transit department sweeps the snow around the shelters shortly after. I asked Braden if it was cleaned and luckily it was not. I told Braden I would be there within the hour.
I met Braden at the bus stop and asked him to show me how he lost his ring so he took his had out of his pocket and said he felt the ring fly to the back of him into the snow bank.  I could see where he had been searching and with experience I had a feeling his ring had ended on the road so I began my search on the road. Bingo within five minute I had his ring back on his finger.
Thank you Braden for calling me.

Ring lost in El Cajon found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Brian was making an early morning delivery when, after jumping out of the back of his vehicle, he shook his hands in the cold and, in horror, saw his wedding ring fly off his hand, bounce twice on the concrete, and then shoot through a chain link fence overlooking a drop-off. He jumped the fence and looked for the ring, but, without success. He found TheRingFinders.com website online and my contact info. After a bit of phone tag, we made contact, and agreed to meet at the site. I got there a bit early and after some text/phone directions from Brian as to the search area, got started. Wow, what a place to detect! A steep slope, soft surface, and lots of metal junk everywhere. Normally, I would rather hunt at the bottom of a steep slope, but, not this time. There was all kinds of metal trash at the bottom along with another chain link fence. I started on the lower section of the slope and gridded my way toward the top hoping it was still just on the surface somewhere. Brian helped with removing dead branches and other metal debris while we both struggled to stay on the slope. More than once we both ended up involuntarily sliding down that slippery slope. After making it all the way to the top and next to the fence the ring passed through, I was faced with detecting the very bottom next to the neighboring metal fence. Moving slowly and picking through the trash, I investigate numerous targets while hearing the fence “talk” to me. I got close to 3/4 the way to the end of the search area, when I got another 14 foil/pull tab type reading I’d been getting numerous times over the last hour. This time, it was his ring, a few inches down in the leaves, loose dirt, and grass that covered that area from our eroding that slope with our search efforts. Brian was happy to have his original ring back to continue it’s story instead of having to get a replacement. A pleasure to meet you Brian and thank you for the reward.
