Brant Beach(LBI) NJ Lost Cartier Bangle Bracelet recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder August 2022

Got a call from John today. He was at the beach in Surf City NJ (LBI) when his platinum wedding band fell into the sand. He and his wife searched for a while and decided to call in a professional metal detector. He had the spot marked perfectly, and a few swings later I had the ring. WELL, while cleaning off the sand I dropped it and had to find it again. Much to my surprise, it was 7-8″ down. Just shows you how deep they can go.
Got a call from Mike, his son lost his cross in Lavallette NJ (OB3) while doing lifeguard exercises yesterday morning when the chain it was on broke. I told him to mark the location on his cell phone and I would get back to him later. This cross had great sentimental value as it was given to him by his grandmother a few years back. It will now be back on his chain thanks to their quick phone call, and precise mark of the location. Special thank you for keeping our swimmers safe.
Got a call today from Justin. He was at the beach in Holgate NJ (LBI) with his fiancé, Samantha. After setting up their chairs and umbrella, Sam took off her shorts, placed them with her stuff, and took a walk down by the water. It was then she realized her beautiful platinum engagement ring was gone. She quickly went back and looked in her pocket where she had placed it when applying sun block, back by at the car, before heading to the beach. It was not there and she was devastated. They contacted me, and after a short conversation we decided to do the recovery. I cleared the area of a few bottle caps, then pow!!! the low platinum signal I was looking for. They were amazed I had found it. This one was SUPER special, they are getting married next month, and now have the ring back for the ceremony
Got a call from Susan about her ring she dropped in the sand today in Surf City NJ. It had great sentimental value to her, as I could tell after just a short time on the phone. Lucky I was able to arrive promptly, as she had made reservations for later in the afternoon. Kudos to her and her husband for preparing the area it was lost, which made for a quick recovery. A very short time later they were on their way, with her cherished ring back on her finger. So many happy memories doing this.
I received a call from Tomas about a cross he lost. He explained it was a huge sentimental item, and it was irreplaceable. We agreed I would head there early the next morning. He gave me all the information, including the marked location on the phone GPS. With that I figured it would be a simple recovery. Upon arrival i marked the location, and got to work. After no luck, I examined pics he sent with fixed objects on shore. I remarked the spot 35′ away, and within 10 min the cross was in my scoop.

Earlier today I was tagged in a Facebook post about a lost wedding band. I promptly responded and was then messaged by Maggie. Her husband Danny was out on a kayak with one of their children and when they came back Danny and another family member went to flip the kayak over to carry it off the beach when Danny noticed something fall. At first he thought it was a shell but when they got back to the house he realized it must have been his wedding ring because it was no longer on his finger! I made arrangements to meet them this afternoon to conduct a search. They gave me an idea of where they entered the water and where they came out. There was a lot of people in the area but as they learned what had happened they very politely moved over as I searched. After about an hour and no luck I told them instead of continuing to ask people to move I would come back later after I finish this one last area that was open. During the 4th pass I got the sound I was waiting for. Sure enough I had it! I held it up in the air and yelled! They were so happy and surprised and everyone around us was amazed I had found it! Everyone was yelling and clapping with joy! Now they can continue enjoying the rest of the weekend with their children and family! I love this hobby!
