I received an email from Chelsea asking if I would be interested in helping her search for a rose gold three ring wedding set she lost at the horse ranch. I gave her a call to gather more details. She told me that she arrive at work at the ranch and realized she still had her wedding ring on. She clearly remembered taking it off and placing it in her pocket. She remembered it was a bit cold and she took her gloves off a few times and placed them in the same coat pocket as the ring. We both had a strong idea that when she took the gloves out of her coat pocket it most likely dragged the ring out and fell some where on the ranch property. She realized quickly after getting home and checking her coat pocket that the ring was missing. Her husband even helped her by unbolting the passenger side car seat and searching the best they could with no ring found. She didn’t sound so confident being that the ring went missing two months prior. I reassured her that the details of her story were in her favor. You didn’t loose in an active river, out in the middle of a high traffic public area and you have a clear memory of the last pace you had the ring. We set a schedule to meet and she later asked me are you sure because we are in the middle of a huge rain storm. I reassured her I am prepared and ready to go find your ring!

I arrived at the ranch all geared up for the weather with plenty of equipment in hand. I also reminded her if after searching the whole property if the ring was not recovered not to worry.  I was fully prepared to search the rest of her vehicle with my video endoscope checking all possible cracks and under all seats to be absolutely sure.

After a three and a half hour search I recovered her ring buried under several inches of wood chips in the arena. I am very certain this ring would not have never been recovered without the aid of an experienced metal detecting recovery specialist. I am also very honored to have been trusted to assist in the recovery of Chelsea’s lost wedding ring.

Watch this exciting story unfold as I search an entire horse ranch for Chelsea’s missing diamond ring set:

Cheers,

North Toronto Engagement Ring Recovered from Snow

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

Wow a 1.5 carat Engagement Ring recovery shocks couple 😄👍

Toronto couple relieved to have 1.5 carat Diamond Engagement Ring back on her hand😍

The ring moments after being found in the snow right beside an electrical transformer box.

A young couple who became engaged on Christmas were completely devastated after an evening walk in North Toronto went horribly bad . Snow had accumulated in their neighborhood to about 6 inches buy that evening. The couple explained while brushing snow off with her hand the young bride to be felt her diamond engagement ring fly off and into the surrounding snow banks which were about 1 foot deep. Hours of searching on hand and knee digging through the cold snow was all in vain and they couldn’t find the precious ring. The young lady could not hold back the tears and the couple were devastated knowing they had no insurance on the expensive ring.

A very common thing for newly engaged young couples! I will often encourage them to add these precious items to their home insurance and also have a jeweler inscribe a name and possibly contact info inside the valuable ring. Most jewelers can do this for a very nominal fee and it is well worth the cost if found by someone else.

After a couple of days the husband in desperation started googling lost Rings and of course came across The Ring Finders web site and my contact info.
Once the young man contacted me I immediately made my way there. Just coming off a successful under water ring find in the Niagara region of Ontario I felt time was of the essence for this recovery.

Once a ring has been lost in a public area especially along a city sidewalk, the clock is ticking down and its only a matter of time before someone else eventually finds it .

Unfortunately I have arrived to the same type of scenario where the person who out of desperation posted signs that a ring was lost in the area. I’ve also seen posted signs with a photo of the ring, detailed description of it and where it was lost! The sign had a diagram of almost the precise location to where the ring is laying. Basically advertising to the not so honest among us FREE RING CHECK HERE👇.

Not a good idea at all! Luckily this couple found Ring Finders onliner. Once I arrived we had one big problem, the electrical transformer box and it was not much more than 3 feet away from where the ring came off in the snow. When it comes to any metal detector if you’re too close to electronic interference you will hear it big time on your detector. However a neighborhood transformer is the worst kind of interference possible. Being so close to such a large amount of interference will cause multiple sounds even at the lowest set discrimination on the detector. Truthful the detector sounded like a Las Vegas slot machine hitting the jackpot on New Year’s eve. I was worried!

However myself and many other Ring Finders on this site are highly skilled and trained having experience with this type of situation. A trained ear and knowing the sound of gold amongst all those bad signals on a is key in this type of recovery.
I grid the area quickly and only after a few minutes in between all the chaotic chirps, beeps and tones a familiar tone coming from beneath snow. Jackpot!

The white flakes and tears kept falling for a few minutes after I pulled out the georgous ring. However this time they were tears of joy and the young couple were again reunited with their beautiful diamond ring.

Ring lost during proposal in Cape May, NJ FOUND!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)

Received a call from Jordan on December 21st, 2019. Jordan was in the process of proposing to his girlfriend on Sunset Beach in Cape May when the engagement ring evidently fell out of the box unbeknownst to him. After gathering a few details from Jordan, we setup a time to meet and I headed over to Sunset Beach. I arrived before Jordan and his father so I decided to take a walk down to see if I could figure out where they may have been. Sure enough the tell tale signs were there so I began searching where I believed they may have been. After a brief 10 minute search I had the ring in my scoop! I went back to the parking lot and awaited Jordans arrival. He and his father were in total shock and disbelief that I had already recovered the ring before they arrived. After reuniting Jordan with the ring his father explained how much of a roller coaster of emotions the day had been. All recoveries are emotional for the clients, for many different reasons, and no two are ever the same, but sometimes there are the ones that really make providing this service warm your heart. This is one of them. I attached the reuniting video but it is a bit dark.

Here are some comments and reviews of service from Jordan and his family:

Jordan Page “Hey Jeff! This is me and my fiance with our recovered ring she loves it and we are so thankful to you. You changed what was one of the worst tragedies into one of those great moments you rember for a lifetime. You reaffirmed my faith in humanity and decency. You are truely a hero! To come out at 10pm on a sat night in winter is unbelievable enough let alone. Your integrity in finding the ring before we got there and holding it shows how much of an amazing honest person you are and that is rare these days. We and I personally can not thank you enough the joy even as I write this is overflowing. Everyone in town has been asking us about it and I’m singing your praises as the savior of our engagement. I got a call from sunset beach gift shop checking in about if we found the ring and I told them how awesome you were. He told me to send him a picture of your card so he can give your info to anyone that needs your services. Thank you so so much.”

Keith Page “First, Jeff, Thank You for finding Jordan’s ring…you are amazing!
You came out on a cold Saturday night and before we even got there, you had the ring, again, thank you…I cannot say it enough!
As a father, knowing what Jordan went through to get to this point and then seeing the video of him on his knee proposing and then his reaction realizing that the ring had fallen out and disappeared into the sand, it brought tears to my eyes for him.
You, the helpful people on the beach, the staff at the Sunset Beach Gift shop, my son’s fiance and her two beautiful children, my wife, all turned an emotional roller coaster of a night into one of the most positive and memorable evenings of our lives.
Thank you again, you really are a good person, you have had a positive impact on everyone’s life that you have helped by helping them find something they lost, please keep doing what you do, it does not go unnoticed.
Our very best to you,
Keith & Karen Page, Jordan and his beautiful family. By the way, Maria said yes!”

Karen Page “There really should be more people like you, Jeff! You don’t just provide a much needed service, you restore people’s faith in others along with restoring their precious items. A truly remarkable thing, and very much appreciated! You Rock!”

Lost ring in Provo Canyon: Found

Maddilyn got engaged one week ago, and she loved her beautiful white gold engagement ring. Yesterday, she went up Provo Canyon  to get some engagement photos behind Mt. Timpanogos. When they finished the photo shoot, she was horrified to find that her ring was gone! Some of the photos showed the ring, but some showed the ring was gone. They searched through the snow, then bought a cheap metal detector and searched some more, but they couldn’t find the lost ring. Last night, Maddilyn’s dad found me on TheRingFinders.com. This afternoon I met Maddilyn and her finance near the canyon. We drove up past Sundance ski resort where I started my search. It took 20 or 30 minutes, but I found the ring buried in the new snow! Hopefully, that one cold night the ring spent in the canyon will be the last night it ever spends away from her!

Morgan called me three days after Thanksgiving searching for a way to recover her lost family heirloom gold diamond ring. Her aunt had recently passed this ring onto her and it meant a great deal to Morgan. Holding true to her boyfriend Jake’s holiday tradition they found themselves with family and friends up the snowy mountain the day after Thanksgiving with Christmas tree permits in hand. With  a few inches of snow on the ground Morgan had fallen into the snow. When she got up she flicked her gloveless hands to get the cold snow off. However along with the cold snow she also flicked off her precious diamond ring! She was very upset and soon every one was looking through all the snow to see if they could find the ring. They had no success so Morgan went online to find a way to get her beloved heirloom white gold diamond ring recovered. When she came across TheRingFinders she found my success stories and gained some much need hope that maybe the ring could be recovered after all she was certain where she lost it.

During our phone conversation it became clear to us that we need to make quick plans to get up the hill before the winter snow really started to fall. Our main concern was being able to get up the hill safely to recover the ring before a huge dumping of winter show and ice really showed showed. This would force us to wait until the spring thaw. Something we really didn’t want to do even though this ares is not traveled like our cities there is still quite a few locals that enjoy the area all year around. The chance of someone eyeballing the ring was something we certainly did not want to risk.

One week later on a Saturday Morgan’s boyfriend and one of his buddies agreed to meetup to tackle the hill. To our grateful surprise a lot of snow and ice they had experience the previous week had melted. We made great time up the hill and before long I was in full swing after the heirloom white gold diamond ring.

Lost Diamond Wedding Rings In Home Recovery Bellevue WA

  • from Mercer Island (Washington, United States)

Two days after Thanksgiving I was called out to Belleview for an in home search of a lost 4.5 carat diamond wedding ring set.  From our over the phone interview I had very strong belief that the rings were still on the property and we had a very strong chance of recovery. Even though my primary focus is recovery via metal detection typically in outside environments I agreed to drop by to help assist in this in home search effort.

Ashley had already confirmed from her in home security video she had the rings on when she came home Thanksgiving evening. She clearly remembered taking them off specifically to put some hand lotion on while sitting in her front living room and the next morning the rings had simply disappeared no where to be found! Once again our dreaded hand lotion scenario has caused a pair of rings to go missing…

She also confirmed no one but her family had been in the home since the loss. We had a few ideas that stated to develop as I continued to ask a lot of questions through my investigative process gaining clarity of the events that took place.

She wasn’t quite sure if she put the rings in an empty ziplock package from her bathroom for safe keeping, in her robe pocket or simply on their coffee table. Fortunately they saved all the household garbage in case the rings some how got tossed away. She also told me the next morning with the same robe on she bent over out the from door to pickup up a package from the porch when her phone fell out of her pocket crashing to the floor. It was certainly possibly the rings could have fallen out as well and landed under the shrubs outside.

I also ask her about her four year old daughter if she had ever shown any attention towards mommies rings. She side her girl has but had not ever run off with them before. I still keep this as a very likely possibility in mind.

Watch this video to see the full story unfold of the exciting recovery of Ashley’s amazing diamond wedding ring set.

Lost Men’s Gold Wedding Band Recovered in Sunny Isles Beach, FL

  • from Stinson Beach (California, United States)

I was on my way to the grocery store when I received a call from Jerrica – her husband had just lost his gold wedding band in the Atlantic Ocean off of Sunny Isles Beach, FL. I did a quick U-turn for home, changed into my water detecting outfit and grabbed my CTX 3030.

They made a smart move by coming to the Ring Finders website and finding me so quickly. Because they stayed put and were patient, they were able to accurately point me toward the water right where they believed the ring came off. They were able to describe it and remembered feeling it come loose in the water.

I expected a long hunt because it is a very popular stretch of beach in Sunny Isles Beach, FL – lots of tourists and a fair amount of aluminum trash too. But to my surprise (and theirs), the ring popped up in my first target signal.

I loved seeing the excitement from them and their friends who were shocked at how quickly it was found. All because they had the patience and quick thinking to call right away!

Eagle Harbor Bainbridge WA Underwater Wedding Ring Recovery

  • from Mercer Island (Washington, United States)

Teresa called me asking for my help in recovering her lost gold diamond wedding ring of twenty-seven years. She told me the story that started several month prior. Teresa and her husband has just returned from a sailing voyage and on this day they were having a relaxing party on their boat as it was docked in their Eagle Harbor slip. Teresa remembers she was fidgeting with her ring finger and some how she managed to shoot the ring off her finger, it flew threw her hair, over the sail boat railing and down into the water below. Her husband witness the whole event and confirmed that the ring was in fact resting in the bottom of the Puget Sound waters.

After this the couple hired a young local diver that had been doing some underwater boat work but he had no success. Teresa’s husband a former dive instructor took a turn and could not locate the ring. They then called upon an old friend a professional diver that brought along a metal detector. He came up with a bucket full of trash but no diamond ring. Teresa’s husband took another dive with the metal detector and still no ring was found. At this point everyone was felling rather hopeless it wold ever be recoverd.

One of Teresa’s coworkers suggested in a joking manner why not get a replacement ring since your old you soon won’t remember the difference anyway.

After thinking if over Teresa went to a jewelry store that was having a going out of business sales event. She explained her story as she picked out a replacement ring from a catalog. Where her special order arrived after she paid for the ring she had immediate buyers remouse and graciously the jeweler refunded her money and took the ring back. However he did look her straight in the eyes and said you will never get that old ring back.

At this pint Teressa wad determined to find a way to get her diamond wedding ring recovered. She remembered hearing something about TheRingFinders and thankfully she did!

Grab a bag of popcorn and watch how the full story unfold here.

Lost White Gold Wedding ring lost in CDA Idaho, Was Found!!

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

The same choices made everyday are often the same choices made right before one might lose their ring. Likewise for Jamie, when her husband had come home she brought out her two wound up dogs for their moonlight walk. The air’s cool grip clung on tight that night but never the less when the walk was finished the dogs, Jamie’s husband and Jamie all had fun playing around in the pile of leaves. The playing in the leaves came to a close and the family retired back into the house. Upon a quick glance and with a rapid heart beat “my ring is missing” slipped out of Jamie’s mouth. The search was on. Flashlights and retraced steps left both Jamie and her husband at a loss. The next morning the dogs where lethargic with Jamie’s sadness. The only thing Jamie could possibly do was surfed the web for answers. The Knot, a wedding website, told her to call The Ring Finders. So Jamie sent me a frantic text, “I lost my ring are you still available?” I quickly called her and talked about the unfortunate night she had been through and then made arrangements to meet her after work. I knew that the ring could be anywhere in the leaves, on the path they took, in the yard, or on someone else’s hand. Hopeful I took off on my search. A quick pass in the pile of leaves, a stroll through the yard and back in the pile of leaves lead me straight to her ring. With a bit of confidence I looked over my shoulder at Jamie walking beside me and gave her a smile. ” If this signal isn’t your ring I’ll be surprised,”I said. I bent down and slowly pulled back the pile of leaves and revealed Jamie’s lost ring. The choice to enjoy life and have fun is always best, but when something like a lost ring steals away the joy, make sure to remember A Ring Finder is near and willing to help. Thanks Jamie for trusting The Ring finders.

Ring Lost Off Dock Recovered SCUBA Diving, Goose Bay Marina, Maryland

  • from Fairfax (Virginia, United States)

A wonderful gentleman in law enforcement told me he lost his ring off a boat dock. After an hour and a half drive, my Dive Master (Mrs. Rob) and I arrived at the marina. Like most dock recoveries, the client had a good idea of where he had lost his ring. There was zero visibility and thick mud in about 6 feet of water. Luckily there was very tittle trash. It must have looked easy to the cheering crowd on the dock, as I found the ring in less than 10 minutes!
