Another successful recovery. Engagement ring lost in the bottom of the lake located in Peebles, OH. Customer contacted me to recover his wife’s engagement ring. The owner did a very good job of putting me within a 12′ circle of where ring was lost. Recovery took about 1 hour in about 10′ of water. The lake had 5′ tall lakeweed making recovery extremely difficult with no visibility at that depth, however with a Deus 2 metal detector I was able to recover it. In the first picture is the moment of the return Overall very happy customer

Engagement Ring found with Metal Detector in Huntington Beach

Surf City Ring Finder rescues Stephani’s Engagement Ring from the sands of Huntington Beach. She was very distraught and in tears when I arrived. She told me the ring must have fallen out of her bag when she removed her phone.

Lucky for her I was able to locate the ring in under 5 minutes. Soon she had tears of Joy and called her husband right away to tell him the good news.

Ring recovery I won’t forget- Pensacola Beach

Yesterday afternoon, as I was heading home from work, I got a call from Devon. The week before, I had been away for the holiday and had to turn down several people needing help, so it felt especially good to be available — and to have my gear in the car — when Devon called.

Devon had lost something incredibly meaningful over the weekend: his grandfather’s ring. It had been passed down to him to wear on his wedding day and had been in the family for 55 years. He lost it while throwing a football in the Gulf late at night, and he said one of the hardest things he’s ever done was call his grandfather to tell him it was gone.

Thankfully, a coworker who heard him talking about it at work knew what I do and suggested he give me a call.

We met at the beach, and Devon was clearly anxious as he explained where he’d been in the water. I started making passes with my detector, pulling out some trash at first — each time hoping it might be the ring. I reminded myself that God’s will would be done either way, and I settled in for the hunt.

Eventually, I pushed out deeper into the June Grass — and that’s when I heard it. The unmistakable tone of gold.

I scooped up a mix of shells and sand — and there it was: Devon’s heirloom ring.

He hadn’t seen me find it, so I walked over and joked that I was taking a break because there was just so much random metal out there. I held out the scoop casually and said, “Take a look at the stuff I’m finding.”

Devon leaned in… and then saw it. His expression shifted from worry to absolute joy. He grabbed my hand and pulled me in for a hug.

He called his wife right away with the good news — but the best moment came when he FaceTimed his grandfather. The shock and joy on his face said it all. He said, “I can’t believe it,”!

I was thrilled myself. Moments like this are exactly why I do what I do. I’m incredibly grateful I could help continue the story of this special ring.

Platinum Wedding Band Lost While Cutting Yard-Found

Kevin had contacted me and said he had lost his wedding band in the yard while cutting the grass. They had looked for it for a couple of days but the weeds in that area were quite tall and finding a ring visually was out of the question. I found the ring in an area where the weeds were around eight inches tall. Total search time was around an hour.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Right After Wedding-Found!

Linsey called me and said they had held a wedding venue in their yard for their daughter and son-in-law. Her yard was quite large and her son-in-law had lost his ring right after the wedding. She had purchased a metal detector but struck out.  Because of the size of the yard I set up a grid search and it took me all of two hours before I found it. Her daughter and son-in-law were out of town at the time.

Lost diamond bracelet found at Chicago Beach

Received a call this morning from a guy who lost his diamond bracelet, which was a gift, at North Ave Beach in Chicago playing volleyball. I was very concerned when we got there because the tractors already raked the sand, thought it may have been snagged. Gridded out the area and found it in about an hour.

First time to the beach this season but sure it’s no the last. Always enjoy the beach recoveries.

Lost ring in Salt Lake City: Found

Natasha arrived in the US from the Ukraine a few months ago with her husband and son because of the Russian invasion of her home country. They settled in Salt Lake City. One of the few things they were able to bring with them was her beautiful yellow and white diamond wedding band. Unfortunately, while she was in their new front yard, the ring slipped from her finger and disappeared. She called me after a week of looking for the ring unsuccessfully. I brought my metal detectors to her home and quickly determined that the ring was not in the grass or in the nearby flower beds, so we knew we needed to look elsewhere. I started by moving a ceramic planter, and the ring suddenly popped into view. It had been pinned, out-of-sight, behind the planter. Now, as Natasha settles into her new home, although she still has the heartache of leaving her original home, at least she doesn’t have to deal with the heartache of losing her wedding ring, too.

Lost wedding ring found in Zanesville.

 I received a text from a young lady needing help finding her husband wedding band he lost while playing kickball with his 2 boys 3 days ago!! Here is her story

On the evening of April 24th, my husband lost his wedding ring while playing kickball with our two young sons. He mentioned feeling it slide off his finger; however, given the activity, it was possible it had been lost earlier while throwing the ball. After an unsuccessful search Thursday night, I purchased a basic metal detector from Harbor Freight, quickly realizing that metal detecting is far more challenging than it appears.

Despite searching throughout Friday, we were unable to locate the ring. By Saturday, feeling disheartened, I reached out to several metal detecting groups on Facebook seeking assistance and advice.
