Lost Ring On Lewes Beach In Delaware Found

On 06/16/2016, I was contacted by a gentleman regarding the loss of a Platinum wedding band belonging to his wife that had been lost in the sand on Lewes Beach. The gentleman indicated that his wife had been digging in the sand at the time that the ring was lost. The gentleman asked if I could assist in finding the lost ring, I told him that I would be at the location of the lost ring in about fifteen minutes. After arriving at Lewes Beach I made contact with the gentleman and he showed me the area on the beach where the ring was lost in the sand. I began a grid search of the area and on my second pass the ring was located, recovered and returned to its rightful owner. IMG_1560

Tungsten Wedding Band Found N/E Edmonton Alberta

I received a call from Julie this evening at  approximately 5:00 pm to ask me if I could come out and help find a lost Tungsten wedding band. Her husband Michael had just lost it in a school play ground while playing with his children in the sand. I said I would be there with in an hour.

I asked Julie how she found me. She had been searching the internet for a metal detector to rent and came upon TheRingFinders website.   When I arrived I asked Michael a few questions and he told me he had already raked the area with no luck. He pointed out the area where he felt his ring had come off.  Within minutes of setting up my V3i the ring was once again back on Michael’s finger.  Another happy client!

Lost Wedding Ring…New Symrna Beach, Florida…Found!

I came across a post with a photo of a mans wedding ring. Apparently this young couple had just recently moved to the Central Florida area and were visiting the beach for the very first time. Wading into the water and just getting his legs wet and only dipping his hands in the cool, salty surf was enough to loosen his ring and off it slipped into the churning water. Craig tried desperately to find his ring as he ran his hands along the sandy bottom feeling for his ring. They spent a couple of hours looking and were very discouraged as they finally came to realize they would probably never see his ring again. Leaving the beach was very hard and Craig had even tied a twist tie around his finger to help bring some sort of comfort and ease the pain of loosing his ring.
I sent Craig an e-mail and explained about theringfinders.com and offered my services. He was thrilled to hear of my willingness to help him. That evening he texted me his info about where they had been at New Symrna Beach and what time of day they were in the water. He even drew a picture and sent me that as well—which was a huge help in putting me in close proximity to where his ring was last seen. I reassured Craig that I would do my best and would call him as soon as I had any good news. The next day I hit the beach, armed with my trusty Whites Dual Field metal detector, and began to grid search the vast expanse of water and sand. About 50 minutes into my search I got a good signal and there in the bottom of my Nutall scoop was Craig’s ring! I whispered a quiet “Thank you” to God for helping me find the ring and headed to the car to text Craig the good news!
Later that evening Craig and his wife stopped by the house to pick up his ring. It is hard to put into words the joy and relief and happiness that one experiences during these moments. Craig and his wife were expecting their first little one and their first year wedding anniversary was coming up as well–so getting his ring back was a huge blessing! What an awesome privilege it has been to help this young couple! Thanks for letting me help you!

Gold Wedding Band Found Edmonton Garrison Play Park

4:00 Pm  Justin called me yesterday and said my name was referred to him from a previous client. he lost his wedding band in the park while he was playing with his daughter and would it be possible for me to help him find it? after asking Justin a bunch of question about the ring and location I agreed to meet up with him @ 5:30.

Arrived at the location and meet Justin he pointed to the park and said that he was playing at three play ground and on the hill, I started first at the site nearest to his yard did a grid search with no luck at that location walked over to the second play area and did a grid search checked around the swings which I would say that would be the most logical place for the ring to be. Found all kinds of clad and junk then I received a sweet sound of gold there buried in about 3 inches of sand was Justin ring. Walked back to Justin as he was coming towards me I asked him if the ring had any distinguish marks on the ring and he said there is a inscription on the inside of the ring and I said to him is it Forever Bear and I watched the reaction on his face he said  you found it.

Lost Wedding Band in Baton Rouge, LA. – Found

Sid got a call from Yvette two days after her husband lost his platinum wedding band in their back yard. He was shaking pool water off his hands when more than water flew off. The search area was small but the ring could not be located by their visual search nor with a borrowed detector. Sid and Carrie arrived at the search area the next day. Both detectors (Garrett Ace 350 and AT Pro) went wild with interference. Not from power lines, from underground wires in the search area. Down on our hands and knees with pin pointers. Sid hunted the holly bushes and found the ring under leaves at the base of those bushes. Total search time, 20 minutes. Another smiling face (actually, three smiling faces) and we were on our way home. Thank you Yvette for the generous reward. This helps keep these search services available.

Ring lost at Mission Bay found

After returning from a trip out of state, I received a call the next morning from a distraught Mary who had lost both her wedding and engagement rings at either Mission Bay or Mission Beach. She had removed her rings and put them in a pocket for safe keeping while at the beach with her family. After several hours and a couple of different locations, she discovered they were missing from her pocket. They searched and even rented a metal detector, but, failed to find them. They talked with a kind woman that lived close by to where they were staying, who went online for help. TheRingFinders.com was recommended and they called me. I met Mary’s husband Conor at the beach by where they had rented a house for the week. They were on holiday from Ireland with their children and were supposed to leave that day, but, extended their stay hoping to find the rings before they had to leave. Conor took Mary and the kids to Sea World and then came to show me the search locations. They spent most of their time on the bay side beach, but, also had a short trek over to the ocean beach where Mary had to scale a sea wall…..another likely spot for those rings to jump out of a pocket. I started my search where they were sitting on the bay side beach while Conor went to the store and ATM. He hadn’t been gone for 2 minutes when I got a couple of great gold sounds a few inches apart right about where they had placed their beach chairs. Sure enough, the first target was the wedding band with the engagement ring a second later. It could have been a long afternoon as the search area just on this side was about the size of half a football field, and after two days had passed, it could have already been found by someone else. We got lucky this day.

When Conor returned, he saw me still detecting and figured I still hadn’t found them. I was actually just killing time until he returned. I pulled out the rings and asked if they looked familiar? He was initially dumbfounded and speechless, but, finally found his voice and thanked me profusely. The neighbor lady (sorry I didn’t get her name) saw us from her balcony and asked if we had any luck. Conor held the rings up and everyone cheered. Mary then called to check on the progress. Conor was going keep it a secret and surprise her by presenting her with the rings and a reproposal on bended knee at Sea World, but, then thought the better of it and told her they had been found. I could tell by her response that she was also overcome with emotion and had trouble getting the words out.  A pleasure to meet you Conor and with talking to Mary. Gold diamond ring found

Mid last week a lady called me to search for her gold diamond ring that was of great sentimental value. She had lost while shredding lots of documents. Seven bin bags to be precise.

She said it may not even be in that lot as there was a possibility it could have been lost while removing her glove so it could be anywhere?

I agreed to the search which we carried out indoors as the weather was nasty outside. Being fully aware of the problems of indoor detecting, I detuned my AKA Sorex Pro with 6×10″ 14 kHz coil and found the cleanest spot in her sitting room, I had a few iron signals but no non ferrous.

I carried out a quick test with a pound coin to gauge sensitivity through shredded paper and staples etc. Then I carried out the search, there was shredded paper all over the place as it was necessary to empty at least half of the bag so it would flatten out enough. Bag after bag was searched with no joy, but then she said “I have another two bags in my car”. Beginning to loose hope at this stage but carried on to the last bag. then “PING” a great big solid signal that was either a coin or a ring. There was the ring that could have easily been recycled.

Lost Wedding Band in Lafayette Louisiana – Found

We received a call from Kevin on January 3, 2016, Sunday evening. He had lost his wedding ring while taking Christmas lights down. The ring was very large and has 5 diamonds in it. Kevin was upset about the loss, but even more so because the diamonds were from him Mom. Kevin lives only about 6 miles away, but it was late so we made plans for Monday morning. Sid and Kevin both had to work, but Carrie met up with Kevin’s wife Kathryn to start the hunt. Kathryn showed me where the lights had been and the area where Kevin had rolled up and boxed the lights. Kevin had also blown the leaves in the yard and around the sidewalk and driveway area. The search area may need to be expanded. Our son James was off work so he said he would help. James has never used a metal detector before. After talking with Kathryn, I set James up with Sid’s detector and pin pointer to work around the driveway area. I went hunt in the front yard. I was checking the flower bed around where the lights had been in the bushes, but decided to check the yard area where he rolled up the lights first. Then would come back to the flower beds. Well, I turned around, took about one step and there I heard it, the sound of gold! I looked down and there it was laying on top of the grass, in plain sight. Only took a couple of minutes to end the search. I knocked on the door, and needless to say Kathryn was shocked that it was found so quickly!

Flying Gold Ring Recovered with Detector in Etobicoke Ontario Park

This lost ring flew off the hand of my latest Ring Finder client 75ft. Paul was wind milling his arms to keep warm at an Etobicoke park near Toronto when he felt his beautiful gold wedding ring fly off. He heard it hit his car then silence…… After hours of scouring the parking lot and adjacent grass into the night Paul and his wife found Ring Finders on the net and messaged me the next day. I arrived within an hour of the call and immediately started gridding the area where he thought it may have landed with my Pro series detector. I decided to do a peripheral search after an unsuccessful grid search of the area where it was assumed to land. Sometimes and most times I will find the owners rings the opposite direction of where they are thought to be. Rings can cover a long distance and then roll even farther than expected.  After about 25 minutes and about 75 ft away my detector got a clear Gold signal and as I moved away the grass and leaves the beautiful wedding ring appeared . I yelled over to Paul to call his wife…he asked why and I said….. so you can tell her I just found your ring! LOST GOLD MENS WEDDING BAND FOUND AT CAPE HENLOPEN STATE PARK IN LEWES, Delaware

On 09/06/15, I received a phone call from a gentleman regarding a lost wedding band. The gentleman advised me that he was fishing at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, Del. when his rose gold wedding ring slipped off his finger and fell into the sand. The gentleman asked if I would assist him in locating his lost ring. I assured the gentleman that I would help him and that I would meet him at the site of the lost ring in a few minutes. I quickly gathered my equipment and responded to the state park where I met the gentleman and he took me to the area of the lost ring. After about five minutes I heard the sound that I was looking for and then recovered the ring with one scoop of the sand scoop. The ring was then returned to its rightful owner. Another fast recovery and another satisfied client. image
