Lost Cell Phone in Myrtle Beach, SC – Found and Returned

  • from North Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

George called me from his wife’s phone saying he had lost his phone and wanted to know if I could help find it. When he gave me the hotel name, I was pretty sure he was in Myrtle Beach, which he confirmed. That’s Matt Fry’s area, so I told George that I’d call Matt and one of us would call him back within 10 minutes. I didn’t have any luck getting a hold of Matt, so I called George back and told him I’d be there in about 30 minutes.

When I arrived at the beach, it was pretty crowded. I called George to let him know I was there and he said he’d be right down from the hotel. When he arrived on the beach he pointed out the area, which at the time, was being occupied by two young ladies. As I started walking over to them to ask them if they’d mind moving, they started packing up to leave, so no problems.

I started doing an east/west grid line, and on the third leg I got a 31-32 on the Equinox 800 so I knew I had he’s phone. Surprisingly, the phone was deeper than it should have been after less than 2 hours of being in the sand. I very carefully used my scoop to get the phone out of the sand, saw it lying in the hole, and reached down and pulled it out. George was in a little bit of shock, but very happy he had his phone back.

George, thanks for contacting me to help find your phone. Have a great rest of your vacation and a safe trip home.

Lost Property Iron (marker) found in Oxford Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Customer reached out to me to help locate their front property iron. They are doing some landscaping on their pie shaped lot and wanted to make sure they weren’t encroaching on their neighbor. Metal detecting revealed the typical 30 yr old rebar used to set property boundaries, all intact, no tilting, position looks the same as the day it was set.

Okanagan Lake lost ring found and returned.

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)
Contact:

I just got home from 3 hours of swinging my detector in Okanagan lake when there was a phone call and an email from Jaime that she had lost her ring in the Lake. She was at the Doggie Park throwing sticks for her 2 dogs Tosh and Reo  when her ring caught on the stick and went into the water. I met her at the park within 30 minutes and she showed me the location of the throw, I knew from experience that this part of the lake is littered with metal junk but figured a gold ring should be an easy find. On my first sweep one way with no obvious good target, I did a sweep the other way and dug every signal. After 90 minutes and a bag full of junk I was starting to get discouraged, but I knew the ring had to be there, so after searching the beach I widened my search in the water away from the target area and within 10 more minutes we had the ring, persistence pays. Jamie had sentimental feelings for the ring as it was handed down to her from her Auntie, she learned that when throwing sticks into the water do not wear your rings.

Lost and found ring North beach Provincial park Ontario

Met with a young couple at North Beach Provincial Park and
was able to find his wedding band that he had lost two days
prior while swimming. Very lucky as the beach is hit hard and often
by other water detectorists. Very happy to have reunited him with
his wedding band. The smile says it all.

Lost Gold Diamond Wedding Band Lake Morton Kent WA

  • from Mercer Island (Washington, United States)

Randy from Alaska was visiting his sisters family for a huge back yard lake party for their 4th of July celebrations. They had over thirty five friends and family in attendance and the festivities were in high gear. Back yard BBQ, plenty of cool drinks and lost of swimming was enjoyed by all. Then it happened Randy reached the dock and realized his Gold Diamond wedding band he’s had for the past twenty five years was lost in the silty waters below the dock! Of course with no lack of friends and family to help the hunt was on but the elusive ring remained hidden.

Randy’s son Spencer called me explaining the predicament they were faced with at his aunts lakeside property and I gladly accepted the challenge.

Watch the fun recovery from Lake Morton in Kent, WA as we recover Randy’s cherished wedding band!

Cheers,

Jeff Morgan

LITTLE BOY TOSSES HIS MOTHER’S BFF’s PLATINUM DIAMOND WEDDING BAND INTO THE GRASS in KLEINBURG, ONTARIO

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Kleinburg, Ontario – Received a referral from RingFinder Steve Z for a lost wedding band in the tall grass of a backyard!

I called the client Gabriel during dinner for the details and proceeded to head over before dark!

An hour later I arrived into the beautiful quaint little Village of Kleinburg in Vaughan Township!! Sure brought back memories travelling from Rexdale up Highway 27 to Nobleton many moons ago!!.

Gabriel’s Wife had her Girlfriends over in the afternoon. One of her Girlfriends took her Platinum Diamond Wedding band off and put it down on the table. Camillo, the couples young Son took the wedding band and flung it over his shoulder into the tall grass behind him!! They searched for hours and decided to call upon THE RING FINDERS DOT COM professionals!

I set up my Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector with the extra large 15” coil! 3 minutes later I asked if the wedding band was Platinum instead of 925 silver as originally advised. (I had a sweet low tone but caught a glimpse of the band buried in the grass)

Gabriel’s Wife called her BFF to check what the wedding band was made of… but I then called little Camillo over to help me and gave him my pinpointer!! We then pulled the beautiful wedding band out!! Check out our video!

I think we have a new DETECTING PIRATE in the making!!! On the flip side…instead of receiving a reward, I always ask my Clients to PAY-UT-FORWARD by making an immediate online donation to the “Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation in which I have snowmobiled/volunteered for the last 11 of 20 years now my 12th year!  Here is a link to my KSBCF fundraising page!

Lost Wedding ring found at Glen Arbor Beach Glen Arbor, Michigan

I received an email from Mary stating her husband lost his wedding ring at the beach in Glen Arbor. I had Mary call me to set up a time to search for his ring after I got out of work. I drove the hour up to Glen Arbor and met Josh. Josh took me to the spot they were set up the day before. I could tell Josh was heartbroken that the ring was missing. He said they have been married 6 years and he did not want a replacement ring, he wanted the original back. I started the search and got an immediate 12:06 on the CTX3030. A good ring number but also a pull tab number. The depth meter was showing 6 inches deep. I got my pin pointer out and realized I forgot to put a new battery in it. So, I pinpointed with the CTX3030 then started digging by hand. I dug down to the wet sand and got the signal out of the hole pinpointed again and found the ring. Josh was so grateful to get his ring back he must have thanked me 20 times. I was very happy to help get his original ring back and appreciate the reward.

Lost Wedding Ring Brewster, New York… Found!!

  • from Stonington (Connecticut, United States)

Lost rose gold diamond ring… Found! Jordyn lost her ring while gardening a couple months ago. She noticed the ring was missing and spent hours searching the yard and driveway – no luck. She even purchased a metal detector of her own to recover the lost ring – still no luck. She eventually came across my website and clicked “Schedule a Search Now”. I arrived and we took a quick walk around the yard retracing her steps from that dark day. I searched most of the yard, gardens, and even the woods where the weeds and clippings were being dumped. After about an hour we asked the grounds keeper if he would trim the overgrown areas were the clippings were dumped so we can get a better look. Found it! 10 feet past where I searched the first time in the overgrown area. Another owner reunited with her very sentimental possession! As always, it was a pleasure to help! Thanks to my wife Allie for capturing the video!

Jordyn’s Testimonial:“Two months ago, I lost my wedding ring while gardening. I searched day and night for it and even bought a metal detector to try and find it. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t tell anyone I had lost my ring. I knew it had to still be somewhere the yard but was starting to come to terms with the fact that I may never find it. Today I had Keith Wille who is a professional at this, come out with his metal detector and after an hour he FOUND IT!!!! I started crying immediately and felt this huge weight off my shoulders. I will forever be grateful for him and his wife! Now we are on our way to our jewelers to get it resized!”

Lost White Gold wedding rings, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

Lost White Gold wedding rings Moose Jaw Saskatchewan

I woke up at 7:00 in the morning to a 4am text from a young lady who asked if I could help her find her lost ring… She told me the ring fell off her finger and went over her raised deck. After reading her texts I had a gut feeling that this ring had been thrown.

After arriving to the location and meeting her and as she was describing the area where she thought the ring was lost she told me that she got mad and threw the ring at her husband. This happens more than you know, the only thing is not many people don’t want to talk about it …

She opened up and told me that she got mad and in the heat of the argument threw her ring at the glass table top beside her husband. She then turn and went it the house the husband told her the ring was missing and went to bed. Distraught she spent the night looking in the dark for it, and she found the ring finders and contacted me by a text.

The deck had a four foot wide hedge of bushes around it and most of it about five feet higher than deck rail. After a 5 hour search of the yard and thick brush area around the deck I didn’t find the ring and had to head to work, I told her I would return the next morning and search the tops of trees and bushes surrounding the deck after work. At about 8pm that same day she text me and said they found the ring stuck in the top of one bigger trees behind the table.

She thanked me for my time and support. I was just happy that she was able to find it.
