Lost Ring, Cape May, New Jersey, RECOVERED!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)

I was tagged in a post in a few local groups last evening regarding someone looking for assistance with recovering a lost ring on the beach in Cape May. I messaged Emily whom explained that her father lost his ring, at some point, on Grant St beach earlier in the day. Emily passed me onto her mother whom reached out this morning. After gathering some details we agreed on a time to meet. Took the short ride, from home, over and met up with the entire family. They weren’t exactly sure when or how the ring came to be lost but they were fairly sure as to where they had been sitting. I turned on my detector and literally had the ring in the first sweep, less than 3 minutes. Another happy family! #lostringandjewelryrecoveryservice, #capemaynj, #jerseyshore, #weddingrings, #lostring, #capemaycounty, #lostandfound, #CoolCapeMay, #coolercapemay, #theringfindersnj, #theringfindersnewjersey, #jerseyshore, #capemaynewjersey

Skyler lost his wedding band on the beach in Avalon, NJ. He put the ring in the mesh pocket of his beach chair, and it dropped into the sand when he pulled something else out it. Skyler, his wife and their friends made a good attempt to find it but didn’t have any success, so he gave me a call. I met everyone on the beach and the ring was found a few minutes later. The energy and excitement were palpable as the group celebrated the recovery!

After she realized it was missing, she searched the area but could not find it. Then she reached out to fellow Ringfinder Jeff Laag who was unavailable at the moment, so he referred her to me. I searched a quick grid pattern and the ring was recovered.

On the official first day of summer Viola lost her platinum wedding band in the ocean while tossing a football on the beach in Cape May, NJ. After realizing that her ring had fallen off in the water, she saw a fellow metal detectorist combing the beach who referred her to me.  We set a time to meet and search for the ring.  The search began in waist deep water in the ocean and after a quick but though search, the ring was found 20 minutes later! The ring was recovered and returned to its owner!

Recovered keys in Cape May NJ

Recovery #8

Got a referral from fellow Ringfinder Ed Cropski to find lost keys in Cape May today. I spoke to Tim who said he lost his keys in the sand on the beach. I promptly responded to the area and met with him. Tim thought that his keys must have fallen from his pocket while walking off the beach. Using the Minelab Ctx 3030 I used his spare set to get an idea of how the others would sound. After about an hour search of the area the keys were located on the pathway from the beach to the road. With the replacement costs of key fobs being as high as they are, Tim was more than glad when his keys were recovered.
