Lost rings at Coronado Found

Jenny and family were spending the day at the beach in Coronado. Jenny took off her rings to apply some lotion, and placed her rings in her daughters hat. The hat got picked up, the rings tumbled out, and they were swallowed up in the soft fluffy sand. Not knowing what to do, she approached the lifeguard and asked for help. The lifeguard called me to see if I would be willing to help. I assured him I’d be happy to, so, he had Jenny call me to make arrangements. After getting the particulars, I gathered my gear and headed to the beach. After lucking into a good parking spot, meeting the family at the site, I was shown the search area, got a description of the two lost rings, and went to “work”. On the first pass, first signal, (10 on my Equinox) one of her rings was pin pointed just under the surface. A foot away, I got another 10 reading, and my pin pointer went to work zeroing in on the other one. A happy Jenny can now head home with a complete finger. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Lost Wedding Band, Pensacola Beach – FOUND!!!

Brayden called me on Friday explaining that he was out in the Gulf throwing football at Pensacola Beach when his wedding band came flying off of his hand. I talked him through what happened and asked him my standard questions about the time of day so I could check the tides, etc. We decided that I would come out the next morning at 7am. I got there and Brayden’s family joined him and explained that the young couple had only been married for 6 months. I said we definitely needed to find it so they could start off with a great story. We made our way to the beach and I got my bearings as I headed out to just over waist deep water. I slowed down and made my first turn as I pushed a big jellyfish out of the way with my scoop handle. I barely went another foot or two and got a great tone. Rarely am I confident on the first tone and first scoop of the search but sure enough, I looked into the scoop and saw Brayden’s gold wedding band shining back in less than 3 minutes. They were thrilled when I walked back up. I think Brayden’s dad said it best when he exclaimed, “we didn’t think it was even possible to find the ring in all that water, much less so quickly.” 😃 Brayden, it was nice meeting you. Gold Wedding Ring Lost in Calhoun, GA-Found!

I received a text this past Monday 11th from a wife.  She said her husband had lost his wedding band in the backyard about a month ago while cleaning out a pool skimmer trap.  She was searching the internet and came across www.theringfinders.com where she found my contact information.  I made the trip to Calhoun that afternoon and met up with her.  She said her husband was still at work, but should be there pretty soon.  She said they had actually purchased a metal detector for themselves, but no luck in finding the ring.  When Alfred got home he was showing me how he lost his ring cleaning the skimmer with his left hand and throwing the trash over the chain link fence with an underhand motion.  He said he felt the ring leave his hand but didn’t see where it went.  With that underhand throwing motion I immediately figured the ring had gone over and into the brushy area behind the fence.  I eliminated the grass and the plant bed first of course, but no luck.  With the chain link fence there I couldn’t get close to it at all without sending my detector into an overload condition.  So that part would have to be searched by hand if I didn’t find the ring back in the brush.  I started back behind the fence, (poison ivy there too), as well as a snake, but didn’t get a good look at it, it was leaving the area.  I started from the right side and went left directly at the back of the fence.  The second pass was from the left back to the right, on a steep slope.  Of course I was finding bits of metal trash, we all do.  On the third pass from right to left I got to right where I figured the ring could have gone with that underhanded throw.  The first thing I found there was a rusted bottle cap, then about three feet away I got two signals on my CTX.  A strong 12:40 showing four inches, but literally inches away from that signal was another one, a strong 12:28 showing one inch.  I hadn’t seen it yet, but that 12:28 at one inch brought a grin to my face.  I stooped over and under my coil I saw a faint hint of something shining back at me.  I snapped a picture of it before I moved it, and you can barely catch a glimpse of something out of place under the layer of leaves.  The 12:40 signal turned out to be a toy car.  The search took about 1.5 hours.

Lost ring at Mission Beach Found

Tammy and family are visiting here from Kansas and went to Mission Beach for a day in the sand. Tammy’s ring finger was a bit swollen and her ring was bothering it a bit, so, she removed it and put it on her pinky finger. Some time later, she noticed it missing and searched the area a bit where they were sitting, but, no luck finding it. An online search found TheRingFinders.com and my contact info. I got the call for help from her friend Matt, gathered my gear, and headed down to the beach to battle the traffic and parking. I got a parking spot about a half mile away and hiked to the search area where I met Matt and Tammy and got a look at the search area. Just a small section where I could see where they were set up and an even smaller “box” outline in the sand. I started at one edge of the area, and immediately got a solid 15 on my Equinox. Nope, just a pull tab. Made the return pass, and started my next pass, where right inside the “box” I got another solid 15 reading, and it was Tammy’s ring. A happy Tammy can now catch her train out of town today without a sad tale of what was lost. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Aggie Ring and Wedding Ring Lost in MUCK in Ennis, Texas Lake

We got a call from a young man who had been riding a horse with his wife and decided to cross the lake to the island in the center.  As they entered the MUCKed Up section the young man’s horse sank up to his belly in the MUCK.  He crawled off his horse and crawled through the MUCK to the shore.  Concerned that they would need a tractor to get his horse out he sent his wife to get a ranch hand to assist.  But the horse was able to break free and get himself out.  Then he realized that both his Aggie Ring and his Cobalt Ring were gone.  He looked over at the MUCK and thought the worst.  He may never see his rings again.

Then he checked the all knowing “Google” to rent a metal detector and during his search the Dallas Ring Finders listing came up.  We scheduled to come in the next day.  We were able to locate both rings in under a minute, see the full video on our channel “Dallas Ring Finders”, another happy customer  for the Dallas Ring Finders.

Lost Mens Rose Gold Wedding Band Found At Rehoboth Beach Delaware

On 06/27/2022, I received a call from fellow New Jersey ring finder John Favno regarding a lost mens wedding band on the beach at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. John said that he had been contacted by a lady by the name of Sissi regarding the lost ring and he provided me with a phone number for Sissi. I then called Sissi to find out the particulars regarding the loss of her husbands ring. Sissi said that her husband lost his ring off of his finger when a wave hit his hand. I asked Sissi to send me some pictures of the beach and area of where the ring had been lost. After looking at the pictures that Sissi sent to me I decided that I would attempt to find the missing ring. I met Sissi and her husband (Jean) on the beach about an hour later, I asked Jean to go out and stand in the water in the area that he had lost his ring. Jean walked out into knee deep water at which time I searched around him for the ring, I did get a signal and what I dug up was a pair of sunglasses. After not locating the ring out in the knee-deep water I started to search the area where the waves were just breaking and the water was about ankle deep. I got another signal and upon digging it I found the lost ring in my sand scoop. The lost ring was then returned to a happy couple, Sissi told me that she and Jean had been married for eleven months and that their one-year anniversary was coming up in the month of July. Lost White Gold Mens Wedding Band In Laurel Delaware Found

On 05/30/2022, I received a call from Tim’s wife regarding the loss of his white gold wedding band and a request for help in locating the lost ring. I responded to Tim’s home in Laurel, Delaware at which time he told me that he had been working on his dump truck and that when he was done with the work he found that his wedding band was missing from his finger. Tim said that he did have rubber gloves on his hands and that he had checked the gloves and did not find the ring. Tim believed that his ring was somewhere in the grass under his truck in the driveway. I had Tim move his truck so that I could search the area where it had been parked. After a search of the area that the truck had been parked over as well as the area around it I was unable to find his ring. Tim then dumped out a trash can that he had been using, I searched the trash and again no sign of the lost ring. Tim then said that he had been cleaning out the pool filter in the backyard and asked me to search that area that was covered in leaves. I walked over to the pool filter at which time I located the missing ring next to the pool filter and then returned it to Tim.

Lost White Gold Wedding Band Found In The Poconos.

Jason contacted me be text and asked if I could search for his lost wedding band. While throwing ball with his dog, he felt the ring fly off his finger and thought he heard it land in an area of thick ferns and leaves along a wooded area. I arrived a few days after he contacted me and he showed me the area he thought it may have landed. He tried searching with an old metal detector a frailly member had and he also began pulling out the ferns. I started my search and got a nice strong signal after searching for only 5 to 10 min. I found the ring under some leaves and grass in the area he pulled out the ferns. He was so happy I found it and began telling me how he had it customed engraved by a gunsmith who does high-end engraving.

Lost wedding ring found in Destin,fl

  1. Mary Johnston lost her wedding ring while eating dinner on the waterfront in Destin, FL. It was her grandmother’s and very sentimental. It was in about 8 ft of water and very murky. Luckily she called me and I recovered the ring within minutes.

Rose Gold Wedding Ring Lost On Emerald Isle Beach Found And Returned

Nicholas sent me a message very early in the morning about his wife’s wedding ring being lost on the Emerald Isle beach.  I did some investigative work ( asking for location pictures, ring description, etc.) and made a plan to head to the beach.  After some communications, I was able to find the area they were set up and started my search.  Unfortunately, after my first attempt, I only found a few items and no ring.  Nicholas’s reply was “That’s unfortunate.”  I woke up early the next morning to head back there with my CTX-3030 with a 17″ search coil to cover the area without missing spots and to hopefully gain a few more inches of depth.  I also recruited the service of my friend, Justin.  He has helped me in the past even when I was out of state.  Justin was using his Minelab Equinox with a 15″ search coil.  Again after hours of searching, we were not finding the ring and decided it was time to take a break and evaluate our next plan.  I decided to widen the search area of the slope they had set up on and thought where the ring may have fallen out of the purse it was placed for safe keeping.  Just started to work the area between from where they arrived and exited the beach, and their set up location near the water.   Finally, Justin received a solid tone and was able to pull Christina’s ring out of the soft sand.
