Lost Silver Cross Pendant On Bethany Beach In 2020 Found

  • from Lewes (Delaware, United States)
Contact:

On 08/04/2020, I was contacted by Renee in regards to a silver cross pendant that had been lost on the beach in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Renee stated that the silver cross pendant had been lost by her daughter and that the silver cross pendant was “Very Special” because her younger daughter had received it from her older sister who was deceased. Upon arriving at the beach Renee and her daughter showed me the area that the silver cross pendant had been lost and the area was marked by sections of wood. I stared a grid search of the area inside the sections of wood and was able to recover the lost pendant with only a few swings of my detector. The pendant was then returned to its rightful and very grateful owner.

On 08/03/2020, I was contacted by Brian in regards to his Platinum Wedding Band that he lost on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Brian requested my help in trying to find his lost ring. I arrived at Rehoboth Beach, made contact with Brian and he felt that he had lost his wedding band in the sand in an area where he and his wife had been sitting in their beach chairs. I did a grid search of the area where they had been sitting and was unable to locate the lost ring. I then had Brian show me the direction that he and his wife had walked to the beach access/exit path in order to exit the beach. I then began a grid search of that area and was able to recover his lost wedding band in the sand in front of the beach access/exit.

Lost Keys Found in Eau Claire, WI.

Janessa lost the keys to her apartment and mailbox while walking her retriever last evening.  She and her friends searched but no luck.  Her father found my number and she called to see if I could help.  We detected the path she had followed and the places where they had stopped to play, a fairly large area.  We searched for almost two hours, and were becoming pretty discouraged, when there they were.

Missing…Men’s White and Yellow Gold Wedding Band…Found in Lake Tuscaloosa, Alabama!

I received a phone call from Devin on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 stating that he lost his white and yellow gold wedding band the day prior.  He had taken the ring off and put it in the pocket of his swim trunks while applying sunscreen.  Devin forgot about it and went swimming in Lake Tuscaloosa with his kids.  He didn’t remember that the ring was in his pocket until after he was back in the lake house.  Unfortunately, the wedding band was no longer in the pocket.  Devin searched in the house and his path from the lake, but no ring.  My next day off from work was on Saturday, so we arranged for a search that day.  Lake Tuscaloosa is about a 2.5 hour drive one-way from me, but I definitely don’t mind traveling to help someone find their lost item.

On a very warm and beautiful September Saturday morning, my husband (Lindell), our nephew (Sean), and I headed on our way to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the ring search.  We arrived just before noon and met up with Devin and his wife, Sarah.  I had Devin and Sarah show us exactly where Devin was in the lake and how far out he went.  Devin thought that the area he was in ranged from about 3-6 feet deep and was a fairly large area.  The water actually stayed shallow for a long way out.  Devin said that there was a sandbar feature where he went upside down under the water playing around trying to scare his kids.  We thought that this was the most likely spot that the wedding band fell out of his pocket.  I began my grid search there.

I had my Blu3 Nemo dive system and Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector with the 15 inch coil.  I made it out to the sandbar feature and began grid searching, slowly working my way in towards the shoreline.  It was only about 3-4 feet deep there.  Thankfully, there weren’t a lot of signals out there.  On about my fourth gridline, I received a shallow and loud 14 on the Nox.  I knew that this was more than likely Devin’s ring.  Diving down with the Nemo, I fanned away some sand and caught a glimpse of a ring.  There it was—Devin’s missing white and yellow gold wedding band!!!  What an amazing sight!

I surfaced and immediately yelled out the good news.  As I was making my way back to the shoreline, everyone began coming down from the lake house for the big reveal.  I presented Devin’s missing wedding band to Devin and Sarah.  Such joy, happiness, and relief!  It’s really such a blessing being able to help others.

A couple of important notes.  Devin and his family are actually from Louisiana.  They were staying at this lake house for safety while Hurricane Ida was making landfall near their home in Louisiana.  Devin and Sarah will be celebrating their 8-year wedding anniversary next month.  Their wedding rings were custom made with yellow gold from Sarah’s parent’s rings.  Their rings have an intertwined design on the outside of the band to symbolize how Devin and Sarah met.  Sentimental and irreplaceable!  I’m so happy that this wedding band will be going back with Devin and Sarah to Louisiana instead of being lost forever.  Its story now gets to continue on…

I give all glory to God and thank Him for another successful ring recovery.  I pray that I can continue helping others for many years to come.  Proud to be a member of The Ring Finders!

How to Find a Lost Earring in a Lawn with a Metal Detector .. Brentwood, CA.

Mobile Metal Detecting Service .. Call Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Gene and his wife went to his daughter’s outdoor birthday party. In Brentwood which is a city in Los Angeles, CA. The party was a few blocks away from his house. After returning home that same evening his wife realized he very favorite and most sentimental diamond/ gold earring was missing.

He thought that he might try renting a metal detector to find it on his own. Doing his research Gene came across TheRingFinders directory. He called me with a few questions about the service works. He told me that the earring had to be at his home, in the car or at the home where they spent most the evening on the lawn near the pool.

I briefed him on the experience I have recovering lost metallic items. From what he told me, there were several places I could use my metal detector and I have a couple other tools that enable me to search inside cars. I definitely could help eliminate areas that may hide a small  earring.

We met that afternoon at his place. He asked if I would like to search the car first. I felt we should start where she had spent the most time. That would be the lawn area a quarter mile down the road. He had brought the matching earring so I could use it to set up my metal detector..The grass could be a great hiding place for a small gold diamond earring. The yard wasn’t very large so I began my search at the far end.

Gene got a little nervous when he could hear my detector sound give a signal. I had to explain that this is why people get frustrated when they have never used a metal detector. He was sitting close to me when I got a surface pull tab signal. I called it and was able to show him how the ID numbers and the tone of the signal work. Shortly after that I got two different signals. I told him one was probably another pull tab but the other could be a small gold item. “ Boom” I checked the second signal and could see the diamonds and gold deep in the grass.

Normally I don’t call signals before I check them, because I’m usually wrong. Gene went ballistic bursting out with the words I hear often, “I DON’T BELIEVE IT”. He had to tell me that he never thought the earring could be found. That is something I also hear often. I believe you can’t find it if you don’t try!! I’ve seen miracles!!

Shawn SGT Sherrill – Ring Recovery Specialist…Lost your ring?… Call/Text ASAP  Anytime 24/7   918-313-2202

Got a text from Stephen last week about his gold wedding band being lost for two weeks at a part that him and his family were at. They had a volleyball net set up on one side of the park and provided me some photos of the area where they had been. After about 3 mins, I had located his ring during the making of a TIKTOK video. I had planned on doing as many PART’s as needed until I found his ring. Was happy it only took one before I found it.

We met two days later and I was able to get his ring back to him where it belonged.

Lost Ring Westfield NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

I recieved a text from a woman about 3 weeks ago whose husband had lost his class ring somewhere in their house.  I explained that I wouldn’t be much help in finding the ring inside, because of all the competing larger metal items.  I gave her some tips on where to look and sent her some good luck wishes.  Well, she texted me again with good and bad news.  Her husband had found his ring but… it was lost again, this time outside.  We made plans to look for it the following day.  When I arrived, her husband recounted how he had thrown a large stick into the brush and ivy along their property and watched his ring fly off.  He had a pretty good idea of where it landed, so this was a pretty quick hunt.  A couple of swings and the target was under my coil! Happy to reunite another ring and owner!! 🙂

Rose Gold 14k Gold Band lost & Found in Eastham mass

Rick, Jim, & Myself we’re out searching for recent drops today in our local ponds. Rick’s wife Jayne called my phone and left an Urgent message for us to return a call that she had just received, saying that we were recommended, by a local Metal-Detecting shop on Cape Cod, to help find a Wedding Band that was lost about an hour earlier on a beach. I called back immediately and Jessica picked up the phone, she proceeded saying that they were all down on the beach earlier, and that a friend of hers named Louis, had dropped his wedding band in the dry sand, they were wondering if we could help find it. I said yes but no guarantees. They were not to familiar with the area, and wasn’t sure what parking lot they were in.  I told them to meet us there in an hour.  We all jumped in the truck and headed down 25 miles away an got there earlier than expected, we met Lewis and Anton after about a 15 wait. Glad we waited for them to show up, as we were walking down the path and got onto the beach, Louis had mentioned that he put a stick down into the sand, where he thought he had dropped it. I asked him to please stand exactly where he thought it fell and not to move, I then proceeded to turn on my machine and took less than five seconds to receive my first signal, that just happened to be his beautiful 14 karat Rose Gold Wedding Band.  We were all very happy to see it back on his finger that quickly.  That’s where it belongs. Louis actually said incredible, just incredible we were all looking for over an hour on our hands snd knees to no avail.   We were glad that Jessica called the Ring Finders.

Lost White Gold Wedding Band at Ulua Lagoon Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began Labor Day weekend when I was approached by Aloha Security asking if I had found a White Gold Wedding Band with no markings that morning? I hadn’t and said I’d come back the next morning and cover the other side of the lagoon. It belonged to a friend of theirs and was lost at some point while he was walking in the shallow water the day before. The next morning I found the ring in waist deep water at the exact middle of the lagoon. I flagged down Aloha Security and they got me in touch with Willie from Waianae. We live on opposite sides of Oahu so we agreed to meet this morning for the return. That smile surely means he’s out of the dog house! Aloha to Willie!
