- Diver/Underwater Search
Cost For My Service
My price is usually $60 to show up & search, unless its in 8 feet or more deep in the water. In this situation the price is $100 to search if I need to use my scuba gear, I usually don't search in water deeper then 40 feet. It costs me at least $200 to go to other islands so they would have to pay that plus the searching fee.
Dave's Metal Detecting is fully equipped to search on land or underwater. Our state of the art equipment allows us to search areas that other detectors cannot reach, and our experience gives us a highly-rated recovery rate of over 85%. Highly Referred by all major resorts, Lifeguards, Maui police Department, Maui park rangers, Wailea & Kapalua security, and most beach activity stands. We can also be found in the island yellow pages. Come check us out on Facebook.
Located on the island of Maui, Hawaii, I will travel to other parts of Hawaii.
Call me to arrange travel to other Islands to help you find your lost ring.
David Sheldon's Bio
Seven years ago Dave decided to make Metal Detecting one of his many hobbies and to our surprise his hobbie became a unusual but very successful business.Over these years we have had people point, laugh and question " What does he do" but through all of this Dave has stayed on top of his game, and today we can confidently say that Dave has helped more then 400 clients recover there most sentimental valuables.
Dave provides land and water recoveries.Dave has done water recoveries up to 30 feet deep. These recoveries are done by using our snuba devices, these devices help Dave to maintain his stability and oxygen levels underwater.
Dave has not only done what I would like to call one of the best jobs in the world, but he has done it with such Professionalism, open mindedness and a open heart. 90% of our clients are newlyweds.I ask you, how crushed would you be getting married on a beautiful beach and perfect settings when the ring of your dreams drops in the ocean and all the both of you can do is watch. This is one of many heart broken story's we get. Dave gets the call trys to calm the bride and groom down and tells them he's on his way. When he gets to the location it's crazy the Bride by now has everyone looking for it. Dave intoduces himself, gears up his metal detector and starts the journey. An hour goes by and the Bride is loosing hope when finally Dave finds it.The Bride ,Groom, family and spectaders are applauding crying and pretty much overwhelmed. "You just don't know the feeling" Dave says all the time. It's wonderful to know that your helping people and making a great ending to a aswome story that they will never forget! "Everyone loses stuff" Dave says and I know he will be there recovering it for them. Dave does what he does because it's the right thing to do . We believe if you help you will be helped in return. We have gotten such great blessing and made wonderful friends with every client he has helped!
