Salty Brine State beach, Narragansett , Rhode Island ,2 diamond gold wedding and engagement rings, returned 2025

  • from Old Saybrook (Connecticut, United States)

July 4, 2025, Ambar a lifelong Rhode Islander never takes her jewelry off at the beach. While playing football with her sons at the water’s edge got hit by a wave that washed her diamond gold wedding and engagement rings off her fingers and disappeared into the ocean. she reached out to a friend of mine Gary who is a local ring finder but was on vacation and he recommended me. We often work as a team and cover and help each other as needed. She called me that night and I was there at 6am before the holiday beach crowds started arriving at the beach. She met me there with her brother-in-law and we walked to the spot on the beach where they had been playing. Considering there was a pretty bad storm that suddenly passed through the area over night I started a gridded search of the area and immediately got a great signal at the water’s edge just as the tide was coming in. I scooped up the target and brought it up to her and with the aid of my pin pointer I saw the glint of gold and diamonds in the sand and handed her the engagement ring. One found was a very good sign, I knew the other had to be close to the first one. The incoming tides and wave action was making things a bit more difficult. I was getting a lot of interference and false signals. After calibrating my machine, I got a weaker but still a solid target signal. I scooped up signal and laid it down next to her.  A few seconds later using the pin pointer a diamond wedding band was now popping out of the sand. It took only about ten minutes to get both rings back on her fingers. It actually took me an hour to get there but it was worth every minute to see how happy I made her feel.  Her brother-in-law was stunned and could not believe I was able to recover them. He then took my phone and started taking pictures of the happy occasion. As we were leaving, she excitedly was telling all the incoming beach goers waiting in long lines of our success. I called Gary to thank him for the referral and together as a team we brought the rings back home. Thanks to St Anthony and praise God we were successful. Miracles do happen and have faith and never give up hope. we see miracles every day.

Lost Ring Finder Recovers Engagement Ring and Wedding Band in North Wildwood, NJ!

A beautiful beach day in North Wildwood, NJ turned stressful for Neil and his family when two priceless rings were accidentally lost in the sand. His wife, Shea, had removed both her engagement ring and wedding band while applying sunscreen to their child. Thinking quickly, she placed the rings inside their child’s hat for safekeeping—but with the busyness of the beach day, they forgot all about them.

Moments later, their child Maeve walked around wearing the hat, unknowingly carrying the rings with her. At some point, the hat was taken off and the rings disappeared into the soft beach sand—just like that, they were gone.

Despite their best efforts searching, the family could not locate either ring. That’s when I received a call from Neil asking for help from Ring Finders South Jersey, the trusted lost ring finder in North Wildwood, NJ.

I arrived at the beach and got the full story from Neil and Shea. Knowing how emotional and valuable these rings were, I got to work right away with my metal detector, carefully scanning the area where the rings were most likely to have fallen.

Just a few minutes into the search, I heard the first promising signal. A quick dig revealed Shea’s engagement ring! Moments later, another tone rang through my headphones—and sure enough, the wedding band was right nearby.

Both rings recovered, and the relief on Neil and Shea’s faces said it all.

ENGAGEMENT RING LOST JUST AFTER MARRIAGE PROPOSAL FOUND BY CRYSTAL COAST RING FINDERS, EMERALD ISLE, NC

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Brandon called me to say just after proposing to his now fiancée Pacie, she had lost the engagement ring. Pacie explained she was using her hands while talking and didn’t realize the ring was missing until shortly afterwards.
I arrived a few minutes after the call and went to work after the search area was explained to me. It only took 1 pass until I received a very solid signal on my detector.

Engagement Ring Recovered After Being Thrown Off 5th Story Hotel Balcony, Atlantic Beach, FL.

A Diamond’s Descent: Recovering a Ring Thrown from a Fifth-Floor Balcony

The call came in, laced with the kind of frantic desperation only a lost engagement ring can inspire. A gentleman on vacation in a beachfront hotel had a big problem. The night before, a heated argument, fueled by alcohol, led to his fiancée doing the unthinkable: tossing her diamond engagement ring from their fifth-floor balcony. They’d scoured the area for hours, both that night and the next morning, but the ring was nowhere to be found. The kicker? The balcony didn’t face the soft sands of the beach, but the unforgiving asphalt of the street below.

I told him I’d be there in minutes. When I arrived at the hotel, the couple, visibly distraught, led me to the fateful balcony. Their access to the room was gone, but I had an idea. I approached the hotel manager, explained the bizarre situation, and, much to my relief, she graciously allowed us a few minutes back in the room. My plan? Have the fiancée toss a few coins off the balcony. It’s a trick that helps me gauge the trajectory and spread of a thrown object, giving me a better search pattern. A few coins later – and, yes, a few unfortunate “dings” on passing cars – I had a better sense of where to focus.

My initial sweep of the planter boxes directly beneath the balcony yielded nothing. They’d already combed the street for hours, they told me, with no success. But I knew the ring had to be there. I extended my search into the street itself, methodically sweeping my detector.

Then, the sweet, unmistakable signal. There, amidst the grit and grime of the road, lay the diamond engagement ring. It was a testament to its journey; the band was broken, likely from being run over by several cars, but the diamond itself, the precious heart of the ring, was still miraculously intact.

Handing it back to him, I could see the immense relief wash over his face. He was, without a doubt, more elated to have that ring back in his possession than she was in that moment. Another day, another lost treasure found, and another couple breathing a sigh of relief, all thanks to a little patience and a lot of metal detecting know-how.

If you’ve lost something precious, especially an engagement ring, your best chance for recovery is to call or text me right away, Adam, your mobile metal detecting expert, immediately at 714-785-5111. The sooner I can get to the location—whether it’s a backyard, a beach, or even the street below a balcony—the higher the likelihood of a successful retrieval. Phone lost at Coronado beach found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Andrea was spending the day at the beach with her family. Her kids and other kids near by were having fun playing and digging in the sand. Time to go and ooops, her phone is missing. In searching best as she could, still no phone would go home. I was contacted later and received the details I needed to conduct the search. There was still a “find my phone” signal coming from the loss area, so, it’s likely still there. Andrea was not able to meet me there at that time, but, I wanted to jump on it right away as that beach gets detected often. With the directions I needed, I set up a grid area as best I could considering that there were lots of people in that area that might be in the way. I started in the open spots before having to ask people to move. Luckily, I got a great booming signal on my Equinox 900 after only a couple of passes. It read pretty deep though and I thought it was just going to be a quarter or an aluminum can. Well, over a foot down, I found her phone, still on and still working! It must have fallen into one of the many holes dug by the children. A text later found a happy Andrea going to get her phone back. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Platinum Wedding Band Lost While Cutting Yard-Found

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Kevin had contacted me and said he had lost his wedding band in the yard while cutting the grass. They had looked for it for a couple of days but the weeds in that area were quite tall and finding a ring visually was out of the question. I found the ring in an area where the weeds were around eight inches tall. Total search time was around an hour.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Right After Wedding-Found!

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Linsey called me and said they had held a wedding venue in their yard for their daughter and son-in-law. Her yard was quite large and her son-in-law had lost his ring right after the wedding. She had purchased a metal detector but struck out.  Because of the size of the yard I set up a grid search and it took me all of two hours before I found it. Her daughter and son-in-law were out of town at the time.

Lost Rose Gold & Diamond Wedding band, FOUND! By Ringfinder Jeffrey Laag
Lost a ring? Dont wait CALL NOW! 609-780-4525
I received a call from Taylor last week. Taylor explained that she was on the beach visiting for the day from PA and she believes that she may have dropped her wedding band into the water. I took the short ride over and met up with Taylor and her husband in front of Wildwood convention hall. While walking down towards the beach, Taylor explained that she had removed all three of her rings and placed them in the same pocket with her cell phone. Later on, she had waded out to about calf deep water and pulled her phone out to grab a few pictures. When she pulled out her phone Taylor beleived that one of her rings came out with the phone and dropped into the ocean water. It was just about high tide when I initially met with the couple and I explained that it may be best to wait for low tide to try and recover the ring. Later, the same day, I rode back over and began searching for Taylors ring. I managed to recover her ring a short time later. Taylors ring was shipped back to her the very next day. Another happy and relieved couple!
Taylors review / recommendation:
“Absolutely would recommend Jeffrey if you end up losing anything at the beach! Lost a wedding band in Wildwood while we were down for the day and he was able to recover it and send it back to me! He was very helpful and accommodating!”
