Mattapoisett’s Newest Engagement !

I received a message on my phone from Caroline asking if I could help find an engagement ring that had been lost earlier in the morning.  I returned her call with enthusiasm saying I was on my way forgetting it was the Fourth of July.  Traffic was brutal but I made it in good time.  We all quickly introduced ourselves and George her husband to be, proceeded to tell me how it was lost.  He was proposing on one knee and when he opened the ring box that had a locking latch the ring was gone.  I asked all the questions leading up to where he seen it last. Luckily he remembered it was in his pocket.  So I think that when he pulled the box out of his pants he also brought the ring up with it and lost it in the sand.

They went and bought a detector but couldn’t find it after an hour or so.

I had Caroline stand where she thought it could be and George where he was kneeling.  Julia there professional photographer was with us while I searched, she was documenting every step.

I started to grid the area, first pass two old bullets, second pass a piece of aluminum, third pass 20 feet away from where it was thought to be I got it. A beautiful Platinum 1.2 karat Diamond engagement ring.

After a few minutes of hooting and hollering.  George redeemed himself and got down on his knee a proposed. Caroline said yes.  It’s very rewarding to be able to be a small part of their special day. Congratulations to you Caroline and George.   A special thank you to Julian for helping them document it.   Sincerely Leighton

Super Nice Ring Set Recovered

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

Sue lost her wedding ring set at Gulf Shores a couple day before calling me for help. She didn’t know where to go and it took a day or so to find someone who could help. I told her i would be there first thing in the morning. I met her where she and the family were staying and we walked to the beach area she thinks it was lost. She wasn’t sure how it was lost, where it might be or if it was even on the beach but felt hopefully it was on the beach. She talked about the day it was lost and her activities and locations. The house and car had been searched and it wasn’t there, so logicly it must on the way to the beach or somewhere on the beach. She showed me the various places they were on the beach and the routes to and from those various places. With that information I put together a search plan and proceeded. After about 30 minutes and after digging several other targets I got a very good signal and knew i found something good. I dug it and showed it to Sue who shouted you found it! She was very, very happily. I’m glad I found it for her, it made both our days.

Platinum Wedding Band Lost While Cutting Yard-Found

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Kevin had contacted me and said he had lost his wedding band in the yard while cutting the grass. They had looked for it for a couple of days but the weeds in that area were quite tall and finding a ring visually was out of the question. I found the ring in an area where the weeds were around eight inches tall. Total search time was around an hour.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Right After Wedding-Found!

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Linsey called me and said they had held a wedding venue in their yard for their daughter and son-in-law. Her yard was quite large and her son-in-law had lost his ring right after the wedding. She had purchased a metal detector but struck out.  Because of the size of the yard I set up a grid search and it took me all of two hours before I found it. Her daughter and son-in-law were out of town at the time.

Received a call a few nights ago for a lost gold band. The client explained that while playing in the sand with his children his band slipped off unbeknownst to him. He was fairly sure it was in the area where they were set up the day before, but not certain. We met up on the beach the following morning and recovered the ring after about 15 minutes of searching. Another happy client!

Cape May, NJ Lost Gold & Diamond ring, FOUND!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)
Lost a ring? DONT WAIT! Call or text NOW! 609-780-4525 Last Tuesday evening I received a call from Brenda. Brenda explained that she was at Sunset Beach with family and friends, to watch the sunset. At some point she was tossing a ball around and her ring, which was a family heirloom passed down thru generations, slipped off her finger and disappeared into the sand. Brenda and her family frantically searched to no avail. I took the short ride over to Sunset beach from home. After wading thru a sea of parked vehicles and people I met up with Brenda and her husband. After a brief discussion and search I  managed to recover her ring in about 10 minutes using my state of the art equipment and skill!
Another relieved client!

Lost cell phone found at White Rock Pier

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Lost your Jewellery, cell phone, keys… don’t wait till it’s too late call/24/7  Chris- 778-838-3463

Cell phones…We live on them now and they are crazy expensive. Most of us have them insured bot if you don’t have the phone you dot get a replacement, for us, Canadians AppleCare does not include lost or stolen however, if you go through your provider, most cases, they will offer you lost or stolen for an extra fee. I have mine insured that way because mine cost a lot of money… I think next year I’m going to lease my phone

I was detecting at White Rock beach and I found a phone I put it in my pocket when I got home I cleaned it up took the SIM card out put it in my iPhone and was able to get a contact number off that phone. This phone belong to a young lady and the mother explained how important it was to get it back because without it their plan would cancel for some reason they needed the SIM card. I’ve returned a lot of phones because I know how to retrieve the numbers from them. I still have a lot of phones that haven’t been claimed. Maybe people were on holidays here and just gave up..

This is the young ladies uncle who picked up the phone…

Kind woman with dementia lost ring while gardening

  • from Pacifica (California, United States)

I received a call from the niece of a kind older woman who lives in a lovely mid-century modern home designed by Joseph Eichler. #housegoals
She told me that her aunt had lost a ring while gardening but that she didn’t believe she knew where she actually lost it, due to dementia. My instinct was to trust “Eva” over the niece who just seemed to be annoyed by her aunt’s diminished mental faculties. And I am glad that I did.
The dirt was hard-packed but there were a few trees with ivy around the bases and one tree with a bench built in a square around the base. This was the spot Eva thought she lost the ring. When she told me that I caught the niece’s eyes, she rolled them and walked away. I did a preliminary swing around the trees and benches with my small coil to get into the nooks and in to the ivy. Then I returned to the area where Anna said she lost the ring. Detecting along the fence line a glimmer of silver caught my eye and there it was! Her cherished Scandinavian silver ring lying just beneath the gap under the fence right next to where she knew it would be. She was right all along.

Lost Gold Ring Found In Back Yard London

  • from London (Ontario, Canada)

After a slip and fall down the back deck stairs, this gentleman’s ring flew like a rocket and went missing for a few days…that is until he looked up the ring finders and called me. It’s never where you think it is, and that turned out to be the case here. Completly on the opposite side of the yard from where most of the search was completed. Glad to be of service for another satisfied smile!

Lost Gold Wedding Band in the Flower Bed-Found

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Addison and she said her Grandfather had lost his wedding band in the yard while pulling weeds. It was a two and a half hour trip to Nashville from here, but well worth the trip. Peter said he was pulling weeds in the front flower bed for most of the afternoon and it was after dark, around ten oclock before he noticed his white gold band was gone. He went back out and looked for it but didn’t see it.  After pulling the weeds and putting them in a wheelbarrow he rolled it to the back end of the lot to dump it out, so I had several places to search. I started in the lawn area bordering the bed and frankly, that is where I expected to find it. Not finding it there I went into the bed and did find numerous peices of scrap aluminum and metal that was close to the surface.  About 3/4 of the way through the bed my Manticore locked onto a solid 15 in all directions and it was also close to the surface. The soil was soft so I just rubbed the surface area of the ground from over the signal and I saw the glint of white gold shining at me. That’s what I saw in the attached photo with my finger pointing at it. It was totally buried so he would not have seen it. The search time was around 30-40 minutes.
