Gold wedding band lost, recovered and returned in Philadelphia, PA!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Sebastian found me in the Ring Finders online directory. After a quick phone conversation it was conveyed to me that while playing basketball on the driveway of his Philadelphia home he realized his white gold wedding band had slipped off. He was pretty sure it came off while he was making a long shot from the middle of his grassy backyard. I was there at his property within 4 hours of his original contact. I had an opportunity to meet his son, Quinn, and baby daughter…cute kids!  As I always do I took a minute to demonstrate my equipment so he could gain confidence that if there…I’ll find!

After adjusting the settings of my Equinox 800 detector several times and already covering the area once I was finally able to find the signal I was looking for…I could see the white gold ring just under the surface of grass. It was ringing up a little high for gold leading me to believe it might be palladium instead. Regardless, Sebastian was pleased and relieved to see his ring once again. He and his kids happily posed for a celebratory moment with the recovered ring!

LOST RING DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY, DUNEDIN, Fl….FOUND!!

STEVE THOMAS  DUNEDIN RING FINDER

LOST A RING OR OTHER METAL VALUABLE IN A GRASSY OR SANDY AREA? JEWELRY SLIP OFF OF YOU WHILE WORKING OUTSIDE OR SWIMMING? PLEASE CALL ME ASAP AT (843)995-4719.
I OFFER A FREE METAL DETECTING SERVICE, REWARD OPTIONAL BUT APPRECIATED.

I was relaxing Saturday morning after a couple of unsuccessful searches the previous two days including a wedding band in a sewer line trench and an old septic tank cap on a wooded lot. My wife showed me a story from the local Dunedin Discussions Facebook group where a member named Debbie posted about her daughter losing a silver ring on the Dunedin Causeway beach the previous day. I also received a pm from another member of the group letting me know about the loss. I immediately posted and sent a pm to Debbie informing her of my services. Because Debbie had given a somewhat detailed description of the loss location on her post, I decided to drive immediately to the location to begin a search before other metal detectorists might scan the area. Not long after I began my search, I received a map pin of the precise location as well as a perspective photo of several family members metal detecting the loss area the previous evening. I worked my way to the given location and searched for a couple of hours. I knew I was searching in the right location as it was confirmed by Donald Murphy (“Murph”, pictured below) as he had seen the family searching the previous evening and he was back at this same spot the next day. I was able to dig a dozen quarters and a half dozen dimes but no silver ring. I went home for a break and returned several hours later at low tide. By that time, the receding tide exposed some tire tracks where Murph said the family was searching the day before. After about an hour, my Equinox registered a strong silver signal (29) at 2 to 4 inches and I dug the silver Gucci ring out of the wet sand with my scoop. I showed it to Murph and he was as excited as the owner was going to be. After I contacted Debbie with the good news, I met her daughter Opal and boyfriend James to make the return. Opal said she lost it while throwing a ball and it was a special ring given to her by her brother. Thanks to all for trusting me to look for your precious ring and thank you for the generous reward! God bless you all!

Started the search in all of the common areas in the grass and paths with no luck. I search the composting box and found many nails then continue on to some other areas, came back and got a good hit. Continue to follow the hit all the way down to the bottom of the box and there was the ring. They were very happy to have the ring returned to them.

A Race Against Time: Recovering Lost Rings on the Ventura Beach

How to Find a Lost Ring in the Sand in Ventura: Dave the ringfinder’s Recovery Win
Yesterday, Ryan’s urgent call broke my day: her engagement and wedding rings vanished into the sand at Ventura State Beaches a day prior. Now back in Orange County, she clung to hope and contacted Dave MacDonald Ringfinder at davetheringfinder.com. I’m the expert in how to find a lost ring in the sand in Ventura, and her plea launched me into action.
The season’s hottest day had packed Ventura’s shores—think Silverstrand Beach and Hollywood Beach crowds—making the search tricky. I waited out the throngs near Solimar Beach, then gridded the sand with my metal detector, a skill perfected at Oxnard Beach and Port Hueneme Beach. Amid bottle caps and foil, a clear tone sang out. Scooping beneath a rock, I uncovered Ryan’s diamond engagement ring—a generational heirloom—shining proof of how to find a lost ring in the sand in Ventura.
Though the wedding band eluded us, delivering the ring to Ryan’s sister in Ventura sparked tears of joy, showing the power of timely recovery.

Gold men’s wedding band lost in the grass at Boynton Beach, Florida Found and returned to owner.

  • from North Miami Beach (Florida, United States)

I met my customer . he said that he was waving his hand to one of his friends and his ring flew off. he was saying that it flew about 20 feet. but after searching for a while there I asked more questions. I found that it must not have gone that far. so I reexamined the area closer. I   was only getting a target that sounded like a penny.  but guess what after checking the target out .. it was his ring. he was very happy. and left me this beautiful testimonial.

Testimonial……………………………………………..

Waving to a friend, my wedding band flew off my hand. First time ever in 60 years the ring left my hand. Looked in the grass unsuccessfully .
Sent text to Craig Marten explaining my issue at 10:15 PM. He was at my home ready to search at 10:00 AM the next day.
10:45 AM he found my ring.
Very grateful of his quick response and successful result.

Class of 1985 gold college ring…lost, recovered and returned in Collegeville, PA!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Received a text from Karen today seeking help in finding her boyfriend’s lost college ring. She found me in the Ring Finders directory and I returned her text with a phone call to discuss the lost ring. Karen conveyed to me that(1 year ago!) she was mowing the backyard lawn of her home in the Skippack/Collegeville area of PA while her boyfriend, Eric, was also doing some work in the backyard. As she was mowing she saw a large branch in her way and asked Eric to pick it up and heave it out of the way to the side of the yard. In doing so Eric felt his prized college ring fly off his finger in the same direction of the branch…somewhere in the corner of the yard. They searched for hours and even rented a metal detector to try to find with no luck. As the year passed Karen never forgot about the missing ring and was determined to find and return it to Eric…she finally reached out to a “Ring Finder”.

I arrived to her home around 3:30 pm on the same day she contacted me. We went straight back to the area where the loss occurred. As I always do I took a second to demonstrate my equipment with my own ring….I want people to feel confident that if the ring is there…I’m going to find it! She re-enacted the loss and showed me exactly which direction the branch and ring were thrown. I’ve learned over the years to prioritize the most likely search areas first and then expand outward. I was there about 5 minutes and on my 4th signal I knew I had it before I even bent down. It was a clean and solid gold tone 1 inch beneath the surface. I grabbed my pinpointer an targeted its exact location just under the surface and gently moved a 1/2 inch of dirt and saw the gold shine through. Before digging any further I called Karen over and asked her to take  a look….she was amazed!!! We gently moved a little more dirt and plucked this beauty out of the ground! As a Ring Finder I always tell people how much more fun it is when you are able to come through and find and return the item! Karen and Eric were very happy!!!!

Lost Diamond Pendant, Burnaby BC… Found!

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Chris Turner- Ring Recovery Specialist…Lost your ring?… Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP  Anytime   778-838-3463

Today I received a call from a young lady who told me that she had lost her gold & diamond pendant. She told me that she had lost it off of her patio and she felt it come off but didn’t hear where it landed. Her and her girlfriend had spent hours looking for the pendant with no luck. The reason that she knew to call TheRingFinders was because a month earlier her husband had hired me to look for his lost platinum wedding band. Unfortunately he lost it last summer, I had no luck or no chance in finding it because it was a heavily hunted beach a lot of time had passed before I did my search.

I arranged to meet the young lady after work and shortly after 8:30 PM I arrived at the search location, I met her and she showed me where she was standing when she lost her diamond pendent, she showed me where they were looking and also told me that she took all the plants out of the flower pot and search the dirt because it made sense to her it could’ve fallen into the flower pot. After not finding it in the flower pot she moved her search below the deck and into the grass but couldn’t understand why she didn’t see it in the short grass, I decided my search at the first place she thought it was lost and that was the flower pot, I put my pin pointer into the flower pot and I got a good signal right away. She was surprised to hear my pin-pointer go off and said that she had searched it with no luck earlier in the day.

Well after only about a minute of searching I found her beautiful diamond pendant and I was able to surprise her, it’s truly amazing where these sentimental items end up being found, especially after people have search for many hours and couldn’t find it.

I have the best job in the world I get to help find these beautiful items and also return the smile back to the people…I love my job!!

Lost wedding ring Waikiki Found

  • from Waikīkī Beach (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find started mid day on Easter Sunday. We were just winding down from watching the little ones search the yard for eggs when I got a call from Katie the wife of Kylee and she was asking if I was available to help her husband who just lost his wedding ring in the water out front the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. I assured her that help was on the way and immediately told my wife the unfortunate news and so we gathered up the family and I grabbed  my gear for underwater hunting. As we were leaving the house I noticed the sun was on its way down as it was getting closer to the evening. Within the next 50  minutes I called to let Katie know I’m almost there and will park and head towards them at the beach. I arrived at the hotel and quickly grabbed my gear and headed to the beach where I met Katie and Kylee. Kylee and Katie greeted me at the beach and both were very appreciative for coming out on Easter to help them look for their lost wedding ring. I encouraged them that this is what we as ring finders love to do… help find lost items. As I talked to Kylee about the incident and gathered as much information I needed, I noticed the tide changed and there would be a difference to where this ring could be now many hours later.  I encouraged the couple that I will do my best and get Kylees ring back on his hand. As I started my search I noticed there was a lot I’ve trash in the area. I continue to go on the line in which Kylee believes he lost it. Close to the shoreline not much farther out than that and maybe up to waist deep of water. And as I continue to search the area back-and-forth I noticed there is no sign of a ring. So I decide to move into deeper waters. And low and behold I get a beautiful tone on my equinox. I dig for the target and there in my Xtreme scoop is Kylee’s ring. I look up to notice Kylee is not looking at me and so I ask him “hey Kylee can you tell me what the ring looks like”? Kaylee says it’s all black and nothing really other to it. And so I ask another question,  “Are you sure? He stops for a moment and as his mind is in ajar I ask does it look like this? As I hold out his ring in my hand he says “YES! That’s it”. We both rejoice as the beautiful sun starts to set behind us. A couple in passing looks at us and asked you find anything good? Our response YES HIS WEDDING RING. As we walked back to our towels in the sand we both get our phones out to call our wives. I can hear his phone as he can hear mine… the first thing out of my wife’s mouth was… you find it? I responded with a happy yes! I could hear Katie excited on the other line as well. Kylee and I both smile as we know this was more than a lost and found… what started out as a day for my kids to find Easter eggs ended with daddy finding a beautiful wedding ring in Waikiki under the shade of the most beautiful sunset. Kylee and I both shake hands and head our ways back to our families we love so much… another great recovery and another precious recovery back to the rightful owner! Always a pleasure.

Lost silver bracelet in sand, Sanford, Fl….Found with metal detector!

  • from Sanford (Florida, United States)

Dev was enjoying a relaxing morning playing volleyball with his family and friends and when the time came to pack it up and head home he noticed that his large silver bracelet was not on his wrist. This bracelet was a special gift from his friends as a present for his birthday a couple of years ago. And he wears it all the time and could not believe that somehow it had come off. He and his family searched diligently through the sand hoping to find it and after a while they realized it had just disappeared. But Dev refused to give up and finally looked on line and entered “Bracelet Finder using a Metal Detector” and up came theringfinders.com. A quick search in the “Directory” showed I was located right here in Sanford, Fl. and he gave me a call.

I was just sitting down to lunch with my family so I assured Dev I could come out after we finished eating and if his lost silver bracelet was there in the sand I could find it for him and not to worry. Two hours later I met Dev and he showed me the sand volleyball court where they had spent the morning playing. He explained that they had switched sides after each game so the odds were even that it could be on either half. It took me about 10 minutes to cover the whole court and then I began searching around the outside along the out-of-bounds line. I found a few pieces of foil here and there and then the first strong promising signal turned out to be an old matchbox car and then not five feet away another strong signal. Slowly I brushed the sand away hoping to reveal what sounded like a large silver item and sure enough…there was Dev’s lost silver bracelet! Dev was so glad to have his special gift back in his possession. (The clasp had worked its way open and it was obvious what had caused it to fall off and into the sand!).
