Lost Men’s Gold Wedding ring FOUND !!!! Airway Heights ,WA

As my Sunday was winding down; a newlywed couple, Clint and Samantha were frantically looking for Clint’s lost wedding ring. The newlyweds had just returned from a two week honeymoon. Normally returning to the extended stay parking lot at the Hampton Inn would be effortless. However, while Clint and Samantha were vacationing the snow came down, over 40 inches of the stuff. Needless to say their car was buried in snow. So the deadly concoction of cold wet snow and bare hands made a newlyweds ring fly into oblivion. A call to Samantha’s sister brought up the Ring Finders and my contact info. and the search was on. I scanned the spot where the car sat and around where the snow from the car had been tossed. The parking lot they were in was full so I was doing my best to not get a false signal from the Ford F 250 and a Toyota. Digging out the snow around the other cars didn’t produce the ring. Looking in the cracks of the newlyweds car didn’t produce the ring. Scanning every thing one more time also didn’t produce Clint’s ring. I even looked under the Ford and Toyota with a light. This all was a means to and end, because I had my trx pinpointer and was not going to give up. So by process of elimination I pinpointed around each tire of both of the other cars. Just behind the Toyota passenger tire, my pinpointer went off. Clint’s wedding ring was Found Finally. The crazy thing was I had already removed the light snow around that tire and the ring melted its way into the harder snow that had been there a while. Warm rings that fall in snow like to sink as fast as a hot knife through butter. Thank you Clint and Samantha for trusting in the Ring Finders and May your marriage always have a special place in your hearts and may you both have the desire to discover loves true gifts.

Lost Cell Phone… Found in Iowa City, Iowa

We’ve been getting some snow here almost every day for a week and people are starting to lose things in it. I received a call from Zac about his lost cell phone. His friend Amy posted on her face book page about me finding her keys and so he thought he would give me a try to help find his phone.

We met on Jan. 25th in the afternoon at the park where he lost it. He had been sledding and playing in the snow when it was lost. He said he did an online search and the phone showed up in the park until the battery died.

We walked out in the snow to an area he thought we should start at. The second signal was his phone buried in the snow. He was very happy to have his phone back.

Lost Keys… Found in Iowa City, Iowa

A woman named Amy contacted me about her lost keys. They were lost in her alley area after she helped a neighbor get his car unstuck from the snow. She thought they may have fallen out of her coat pocket when they were shoveling snow or pushing the car.

I arranged to meet her on Jan. 25th in the morning. When I arrived she showed me the area where she thought they could be. I started the search on one corner of the area and almost immediately got a decent signal.

After moving five inches of snow there they were! Thanks Amy for posting on your face book page because I was able to help a friend of yours recover his cell phone that same day.

LOST ENGAGEMENT RING IN BREAUX BRIDGE, LA. – FOUND

After Brennon and Alyssa rode their 4 wheeler along the muddy trails, they decided to call it a day. They parked at the area used to wash off the four wheelers and themselves. While washing her hands with a hose, Alyssa felt her engagement ring slip off her finger. They and other riders hunted for it from 8 PM till midnight with no success. The next morning they returned with a newly purchased metal detector to continue the hunt. After finding only foil, pennies and pop tops, Brennon looked at a YouTube video for hunting hints. He saw a “The Ring Finders” decal on a car in the video and went to our website. We got the call from Brennon on Sunday morning. Carrie and I were able to load our equipment and be on site in 1 ½ hours. The hunt area was relatively small but had quite a lot of trash. It was hard bottom with dead matted grass covered by 2 to 4 inches of mud. After 20 minutes of getting everything, including us, covered in mud, Carrie found the ring, tangled in the grass, under the mud. After some happy tears and pictures (and washing off mud from us and our equipment) we were heading home feeling great after reuniting Alyssa with her beautiful ring.

Lost Men’s Wedding Band Recovered in Ellicott City, Maryland!

Last week I received a email from Stephanie stating that her husband Thomas lost his wedding band while recently doing some yard work. We then made plans to meet up the next day to try and locate the ring.

Luckily Thomas had a good idea of exactly where he was in the yard when he believed his wedding band came off. When I arrived leaves were everywhere despite only 2 days had past since he lost it. Thomas directed me to three areas of the yard that he felt were strong possibilities of where the ring might be. I then put my metal detector to work and about 10 minutes later while searching the second possible area, I found this under some leaves…..

I immediately called Thomas over asking him, “Is this yours?” knowing quite well I just recovered his missing wedding band!

Success happened for two main reasons. Stephanie and Thomas quickly contacted me and Thomas took good mental notes of where he was and what he was doing when he suspected the ring came off. By doing so he made my job a lot easier. It is great to see the ring is back where it belongs!

Keys found in Chula Vista

Angela called me to help find her lost keys. It was dark, she and her husband were outside his car in the parking lot where they lived. Angela attempted to throw her keys over to top of the car to her husband on the other side. The keys didn’t make it! They hit the top of the car and bounced somewhere. They searched the parking lot, sidewalk, and landscaping the best they could in the dark using a flashlight, but, didn’t have any luck. They searched again the next day, even cleaning out dead leaves and branches from the bushes along the sidewalk. Still no luck. Next in the process was to buy a metal detector and try again. They had “fun” removing everything imaginable from the ground cover and bushes, but, the keys just wouldn’t speak up. Eventually, they heard about The Ring Finders and gave me a call.

I met Angela at the parking lot around noon and got the low down on how the keys were lost. I started by searching all the ground area in and around the bushes and all along the sidewalk. No luck. I ran the coil over the surface of the bushes and even in the overhanging tree branches, but, still nothing. Next, I started at one end and started shaking all the bushes as hard as I dared, hoping to hear the tinkle of keys or to hopefully convince the bushes to let go of them. We made it all the way to the other end without success, but, while walking back toward where we started Angela looked down and spied them right under the corner of one of the bushes. Yes! Don’t know how we missed them at the time we were at that bush, but, hey, they’re now back where they belong, so, that’s what counts. A very happy Angela called her husband with the good news and both gratefully thanked me. A pleasure to meet you Angela and thank you for the reward.

Lost Wedding Ring In North Spokane, Found !!!

As I pulled into my last window cleaning job for the day, Steve a caring husband called me about his wife’s lost silver wedding ring. A month ago Steve and his wife were raking the backyard. After the work was done Steve’s wife’s ring was long gone, until today. After I arrived Steve showed me the pile of grass that was raked up and the small yard where they were working. I searched the pile of grass and found a dime which gave a very similar reading to his wife’s ring. So then I started my grid around the outside of the yard. As I got close to an old tree stump my coil passed over two signals. One of the signals was a penny and the other, the wedding ring Steve’s wife lost. At this point I didn’t know where Steve had gone off too. So I put the ring in my hand with the few coins and pull tabs that I found in my short search. I walked over to the stairs where I saw Steve last and set the handful of finds down on the rail. Just as I stood up I heard Steve say, “find anything”? With a hidden smile I pointed to the pile and said “yeah this stuff right here”. Steve walked over and started looking really hard at the pile of stuff when he noticed the ring under a freshly dug pull tab. Wow, OMG, Where did you find it, OMG. All this being said, I gathered he was happy the search for his wife’s ring was over. Later after I left he called and said his wife was crying on the phone after he sent her a picture of her lost ring. This is what makes a successful hunt magical, the opportunity to give a lost item back to the owner and the “thank you’s” that stream down their face. Thanks for trusting me Steve and believing in the Ring finders.

LOST ENGAGEMENT RING BATON ROUGE, LA. – FOUND

Taloria called late Saturday afternoon looking for help in finding her lost engagement ring. It was too late to drive the 1 ½ hrs to Baton Rouge and get any hunting in before dark, so we set up to meet early the next morning. When we arrived at the site, Taloria said she was on her way to a party with friends when she placed her engagement ring on her lap to apply some hand lotion. When they had parked in the grassy field, she exited the car not thinking about the ring. When she realized the ring was gone, she hunted in and around the car but did not find it. She then called us to help. Being she knew where the car was parked, the search area was small. The problems were tall grass and lots of trash (foil, pull tabs, drink containers, etc.). The hunt was very tedious.  Sid got tired of the constant up and down to check out hits. He got on his hands and knees and crawled around using the pin pointer. The technique worked. A hit with the pointer and glints of shiny metal proved to be the ring. Taloria (also Carrie and Sid) were very excited. After reuniting Taloria with her beautiful ring, lots of hugs, lots of smiles, and lots of pictures, we all headed home.

Lost Man’s Titanium Wedding Ring in Columbus, OH. “FOUND”

I received a call about a lost Man’s Titanium Wedding Ring in a sand volleyball court. While he was playing the next thing he knew was the ring went flying and disappeared into the sand. He friends helped him search and search for the ring with no luck. Once I started searching I received my first hit. I took my sand scoop to move the sand around and starting sifting through it. Then I heard a ting from the sand scoop and there was the ring. He was very happy to have the ring returned to him.
