Metal Detecting Abbotsford Park for Lost Gold Wedding Band

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Yesterday afternoon I received a call to help find a man’s wedding band that he lost at a park in Abbotsford.

Dave was at the park throwing a ball for his dog and trying to get the ball out of the dogs month and suddenly realized that his ring was gone.

He called his wife to tell her the bad news and right away she searched on the internet and found my service. We talked for a while and she told me that her husband was still searching for the ring. I said I’d be happy to take a look if he didn’t find, later that night she called and asked if I’d come out.

Abbotsford is a little over 1 hour drive each way and we were to meet at 7:30 am to search for his ring. When I met Dave he showed me the area he was standing and showed me the direction he was throwing the ball, my first thought was this is going to be a long search!

He had to go to school so he headed off and I started my grid search of the area he was standing in while he was throwing the ball. Within minutes I found his ring! Crazy how that works, sometimes it only takes minutes and other times it can take hours.

Metal Detecting North Burnaby for… Basement Gold Wedding Band

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Today I had a search for a set of keys that might have been lost in some dirt that this man spread around his yard. I searched but no luck. I hope for him it shows up in his house one day…

On my way home from that search I received a call to help a man who lost his white gold wedding band in his house. My first thought was unless he has sand or dirt in his house there’s no chance.

He tells me that he was in the middle of renovating his basement, he took off his ring and placed it on a pipe and shortly after it fell off into the dirt & sandy floor…

I’m listening to his story and looking out my car window as the rain was coming down, and thinking to myself, I’m going to have an indoor search… My first.

I arrive at the house and met the young man and he tells me what happen and takes me to the basement. We have to clime up and over a hole in the wall to get to the area the ring was lost.

He shows me the area and I start my search, I had one good signal but it was reading gold then iron.

I started to search in the area I got the signal in and there it was, his white gold wedding band. He was very happy to have his ring and he told me he could continue his renovations now as he couldn’t do anything until he found it.

Nov. Ring Search 1

The hunt is on for a lost gold wedding band in Ladner BC when a man hunting snow geese lost his ring. He was with his father and his hands were cold and he shook them and off went his ring.

He went online to rent a metal detector and came across my website, he called and told me that he lost his ring and that he could put me in an area the size of a room. At first he thought of renting a meta detector then he thought it would be better to hire an expert. Great I thought! Another ring search, I meet with the man and his wife and I walk out to the area he lost his ring.

It took close to 15 minutes in a marshy swamp and duck hunters all around for us to get to the spot! You can hear the duck calls and then hear the shoots…I’m thinking this is a first! I asked if this was safe and he replied no problem as the shots were aimed up at the geese…

I started my search in the area were he knew the ring would be in, after close to an hour there was no ring. I took my wedding band off and asked him to re-enact what happened. He was worried that I wouldn’t find my ring… That wouldn’t make me very good at what I do…Both time the ring flew in the same direction, I searched and expanded my search but no ring.

There were big pot holes and that was a concern as I’d have to dig out the holes and search the mud. Instead I expanded my search in the opposite direction and within minutes I received a good signal. I moved the grass and there it was! I presented him with the ring and he & his wife were so happy to get the ring back!

Metal Detecting Surrey BC/Garden Gold/Gold Wedding Band Found…

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Today I had a search for a man’s diamond wedding band that was lost in the garden some where on his property.

I received a call early last week from a lady who told me the story about how her husband had lost his ring while he was outside gardening.

I met up with the couple this morning and Umberto showed me the area where he thought the ring could be lost in and I started my search.

Around the side of the house he had a little garlic garden and he showed me the area he sifted the dirt to search for his ring. I searched that area and received a good signal and found Umberto’s diamond ring within 5 minutes.

I could see the ring as I moved the dirt and I turned on my flip video and started to record… He didn’t what me to tell his wife, he wanted to act as if we didn’t find it.

We went into his house and pretended that we couldn’t find the ring, she was sad and wanted me to check some other areas, Umberto then held up his hand and showed her the ring…She was so excited! She told me that she couldn’t afford another ring for her husband and that ring was very special as it was his wedding band, and you can’t replace that with a new one.

We had an espresso and talked for a while, such a lovely couple!
