Its hard to see the earring, but you cannot miss the big smile

Found in compact snow on the road

You just never know where your next hunt will come from. Sometimes it is someone you know.

It began with “ I lost my earring shoveling snow off of the driveway”, and I was hooked.

We met the next day on the lunch hour and surveyed the snow piles. She had no idea where the earring came off, but at least we knew the general area.

Along the first side of the driveway I had great signals, and found the sprinkler heads. Not what we were after. Next the other side of the drive the only hits I had was a trailer hitch.

Finally with the only area left to search I turned to the street in front of the driveway. This area looked like it had been scrapped already and the snow was packed down. On the first pass I had a good signal scraped the snow and ice off and there it was.

It was fun to see her snatch it up and clean it off and smile like she had been reunited with an old friend. To quote her “there not expensive but I like them” (insert big smile here). The reward on this hunt was the smile. It said it all.

If you need a hunt, call me as soon as possible. The sooner we can get to it, the better the odds of finding your lost treasure.

I got mad and threw my wedding ring away

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I got mad at my spouse and threw my wedding ring away…Help!!!

Has this ever happened to you?

When some couples argue, in the heat of the moment they get mad and throw their wedding ring, most make up and then feel horrible afterwards.

I have received a hand full of these calls for help from both men & women, and I’m happy to say that I found everyone’s ring.

I’ve found rings that were tossed out car windows into bushes, peoples yards, beaches, lakes ext. It doesn’t matter how many years the ring has been lost for if its on your property or places people wouldn’t be searching with a metal detector…It still can be found!

If this has happened to you and you never found your ring, give me a call.

Tip of the day: If you get mad at your spouse and the thought of tossing your ring comes to mind, try this…

Take a coin out of your pocket and switch it with the ring… When the storm blows over and you make up… You’re down a coin but you still have your ring!

White Rock Beach in February…

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Here’s a beach I searched just for fun the other day, no rings but keys and lots of change. Last year around this time I found a beautiful diamond ring for a lady that lost it off the pier into the water below.

This is a beach that our parents took us to every weekend in the summer time, when we were kids. What makes this beach so difficult to search is that it’s such a big beach and the tide goes out a very long way… Making it hard to concentrate on a specific area where lots of people gather.

Searching the area around the pier is where you will have a chance to find rings & coins. That being said get ready to dig many pennies as I believe people make a wish and toss it into the water.

As I was searching the beach on Feb.4th near the end of the day, I was blessed with this amazing sun set! I love the search for hidden & buried treasure and I treasure this world we live in…
