Lost Gold Ring In Snow, Brandon, Manitoba

  • from Moose Jaw (Saskatchewan, Canada)

Karl called and said he lost his gold wedding ring in the snow when he was brushing the show off his hands on the boulevard in front of his house. He had searched the area with no luck and his wife found my name on the Ring Finders.

I made the trek 4 hours to Brandon, Manitoba, on my day off it was -24 degrees Celsius. Searching the boulevard, it was covered in 11 inches of frozen snow. After two false readings near what should be gold on the metal detector the ring was found in the ice on the road in the curb area.

Thank you, Karl, on the opportunity to find your gold wedding ring.

This previous Saturday I noticed a missed text message at 1:24am from someone who needed help finding a lost ring in Mission beach San Diego. I text her back immediately after waking up,,With a few more questions I decided to head that way in the dark as the sun was close to rising.

Upon meeting Hayley at the scene of the lost ring she showed me the area along a row of fire pits where her & many others spent hours sifting through the beach sands in hopes to find it. Although these fire pit search areas are littered with nails,Foil & many other buried pieces of trash I still managed to unearth her precious Gold Ring within minutes of swinging my Metal Detector.

That’s what you call a”Good Morning”. She was so relieved as you can see & just in time for the Sunrise!

Recovered 10 year anniversary wedding ring at Northstar- Lake Tahoe.

I was contacted by the couple several days after it was lost in the snow  while having a snowball fight. They searched themselves before their stay had ended and thought the ring was lost for good.  Several days later they heard about TheRingFinders website and contacted me. I made the drive to the location they had lost it and after 30 minutes of a grid search I found it!  It’s tough celebrating by yourself but it sure felt good to make the call telling them I found it. She didn’t want to take the risk having me mail it back to her and they made the drive up to meet me today. It’s always an awesome giving it back to them and seeing their expressions.

Mr Chester was planting some new plants in his front yard and using a post hole digger and other tools he managed to get the holes dug deep enough to hold some new soil and using his hands he began setting the first plant.  Only minutes into the planting process he felt his large gold ring slip off of his finger and he immediately picked it up, brushed it off and put it back on his finger…thinking that now he would be more careful.  Ten minutes later Mr Chester again noticed that his beautiful gold and diamond ring was not on his finger and this time he figured it had to be deep down in one of those holes he had just dug and filled.  Not wanting to totally pull up the plants and sift all the dirt, he got to thinking about other ways to locate his lost ring and that thought led him to search online for a “Ring Finder” and up popped theringfinders.com and one of my successful ring search and recovery stories.  He called me and we made plans to meet up at his place the following Saturday.  Mr Chester was 99% positive that he lost it in the dirt while planting so that is where I concentrated my efforts.  I recovered two small items of aluminum and the 3rd signal was strong and repeatable which proved to be Mr Chester’s lost gold ring!  It truly was an honor and privilege to meet Mr Chester and to be able to help him find what he thought he would never see again.

LOST WEDDING BAND IN NEW IBERIA, LA.-FOUND

  • from Lafayette (Louisiana, United States)
Contact:

Lani’s husband lost his black tungsten wedding band in a field near their home. They searched with and without a metal detector for a week. I got the call, and once I had an understanding of the job, made the 45-minute trip to the location. I met with Lani to go over the area where the ring was lost. I laid out a search area of about 1000 square feet. The first half was dry, the second had 1″ of water with the grass being about 4 inches tall. The whole area was trash-free, so all sounds were taken seriously.  About halfway thru the second half (the wet one) I got a strong 48 reading on my Garrett. Had to move grass and poke around with the pin-pointer for the ring.  Lani was very happy and so was I. Thank you, Lani, for the generous reward.

Lost diamond ring found

  • from Waikīkī Beach (Hawaii, United States)

ITS A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I got a call about a lost wedding ring from Kuuipo. She explained how the ring was lost and I asked her to draw me out a map to help narrow the search area. After gathering as much information as possible I was faced with a hunt that was either gonna be on a lawn close to the beach or on the sand. I gathered my family and headed down to the spot. After careful searching on the lawn to no avail I started my way  onto the beach. As I started my gridding pattern towards the ocean I picked up a few coins which made me very happy because I knew that no one else came to this beach and metal detected. after my first pass down the beach I started my second leg while overlapping and around midway through I hear a tone that would make anyone stop in their tracks. I dig in the sand gently being careful and inside the Xtreme scoop is what was lost and now found a beautiful diamond ring. I smile as I retrieve the ring while onlookers are in anticipation. I say loudly … she will be happy. The beach goers asked if I was looking for something and I replied not no more. I get to call her about the good news. I found her lost ring! Another successful find.

Renan contacted me right about sunset asking for help in finding his wedding ring. He had been playing volley ball when as he was striking the ball, his ring flew off of his finger. He, his wife, and friends searched for the ring, but were unable to find it. Also he was on vacation from Brazil, and was not cherishing the thought of leaving it in the USA when he returned home. I was available, and left right away.

When I arrived, it was already dark, but that is not a hindrance for a search at the beach. Renan took me over to the court, and showed me what he had done when striking the ball. I began by searching the most logical possible path the ring probably took when coming off of his hand. I searched just behind where he was standing, right where he was standing, and all the way to the other end of the court from where he was standing, and got nothing but a few pull tabs. At this time I decided to search the whole court, and 10 feet outside of it, searching both sides; nothing again. Now it was time to do a cross grid in order to insure I didn’t miss the ring because it was in a weird position. I began my cross grid on the side he was on originally, and when I got to the center of the court, which was behind and to his right (the ring was on the left hand) by 15 feet, I got a scratchy signal, dug, and scooped up a very thin gold ring. Renan’s friend came right over and identified the ring, and everyone rejoiced. He now can go home with his token of love for his wife of two years.

LOST 14k WHITE GOLD RING IN KANAPOLIS, NC…..FOUND!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Got a text from a gentleman on Friday last week, saying he had lost his wedding ring in the yard. Snow was coming in and we had to push it out until I was off work.

Drove out this morning and got the backstory. He had gone to clean out the chicken coop. He had had gloves on and as he was walking back to the building he took them off. At that point is when the ring fell off. They searched and searched and couldn’t find it.

The area that we both felt it had to have been lost in was full of 14k gold ring signals, ground was frozen and it had some ice/snow still in this area.

After about 2 hours, I finally got a good pull tab signal and look down and I could see the ring in the ice!!!

Lost gold ring found in London

  • from London (Ontario, Canada)

Driving along on the freeway, this gentleman had a welding mask fly out of the truck in front of him that actually got lodged under his car. So he had to pull over on the snow covered shoulder and dislodge this mask from under his car. Unfortunately, while doing so, his wedding ring had come off. His wife helped him look for his ring for an hour, but luck was not on their side. The next day he had found me online, and we set a time to meet up on the highway. I’m glad to say he will be taking his wedding ring home today!

I recently received a distress call from Kathleen, who sought assistance for her son Jacob. His cherished cross had snapped off during an energetic game of spikeball on the beach of Brigantine, NJ. After a detailed conversation with both Kathleen and Jacob, I gathered all the necessary information and set out to join Jacob without delay. Upon arrival, I initiated my search at the play area, methodically scanning the with my metal detector. It wasn’t long before the device’s tones signaled success—a strong, promising signal pierced the air. Moments later, the gleaming white gold cross emerged from its sandy hiding place. Jacob was ecstatic a clear testament to the cross’s sentimental value. Kathleen, expressed her profound gratitude. It was a touching reminder of the deep personal significance such items hold, and the joy of reuniting them with their owners.
