Lost/Found Gold Mens Wedding Band In Middletown, Delaware

On 12/27/15, I was contacted by a gentleman who had lost his gold wedding band in his backyard while playing football with his children. I was told that he did not see or feel the ring come off of his finger. The gentleman stated that he felt that the ring had to be somewhere in the grass in his backyard because he had the ring on his finger before playing football and that he found the ring missing  after the game had ended. The gentleman stated that this was the first time he had lost the ring in 13+ years and wanted to know if I could help him find the ring. I told him that I would help him and asked that he mark the area that he was playing football in. I told him that I would respond to his residence on 12/29/15 to look for his ring. Upon arriving at the residence on 12/29/15, I found the area marked as I had requested and I began the search. During the first few feet of the search there were several high tones that I did not attempt to recover as they indicated possible coins and they were buried in the ground. After a few feet past the possible coins I received a mid tone which was an indication of the treasure that I was looking for. As I brushed back the grass the gold ring revealed itself and it was reunited with its rightful owner.

GLASSES LOST DURING PARTY IN SNOW AT KELOWNA

Christy had a party at her home during a recent snow fall. The party was in her back yard and a few of the partygoers were feeling no pain. One young lady fell in the snow and slid 50 yards down a slope finishing up in a blackberry patch, losing her prescription eyeglasses in the proccess. Christy found me on The Ringfinders website and requested my help in locating the glasses. I arrived and started my search in the yard, within minutes I found a pair of glasses, are these the ones I asked, the answer was no, they were lost last year. I continued my search all the way down the yard and eventually found the other pair in the blackberry patch.

Rental Car Key lost in Kelowna Snow.

Anastha was involved in a motor vehicle accident, so she was driving a courtesy vehicle. After removing snow from her driveway she realized that she had lost the key for the courtesy vehicle. Unable to find it she called the repair shop who where going to charge her $350 to replace and reprogram the replacement key. She remembered a fellow worker who had lost his wedding ring years earlier, she called him and asked him who assisted him with its recovery, he told her it was a member of The Ringfinder. She then called The Ringfinders, and I responded on her day off work. The snow was fairly deep so I did sweep and then removed a layer of snow, on the second sweep I located the key.

Metal Detecting Service – How to Find a Lost Earring – Stamford, CT

As a couple arrived for a dinner party, they had no idea they were about to experience the terrible feeling of losing a sentimental possession that was handed down from mother to daughter. There is good news, though. Stepping out of the car and hearing the “ping, ping” of the earring bouncing off the car door told us that the earring is in the car door’s general location. Once I finally arrived, the couple showed me the approximate location of the area under the car door when the earring fell. After only minutes of searching, the couple was reunited with their earring!

Just in case you are wondering, yes, my earlier statement was “finally arrived.” There was a delay in my arrival to find the earring, but you will have to read the NewYorker.com article to know why there was a delay and how I managed to complete the trip! Finding an earring is no easy task, but this particular earring was a larger one, and the grass was well manicured, both of which are to my advantage. Most earrings are small and challenging for the average metal detector to sense. If you don’t have the sensitive equipment necessary to find small valuables, don’t waste your time renting a metal detector that may not get the job done. Metal Detecting Service – Men’s Platinum Wedding Band – Newtown, CT

A recent call from Newtown sparked a sunrise trip across the state of Connecticut. Once I arrived, a family member walked me around the property discussing all the potential places the lost ring could be hiding. On this particular search, it was entirely unknown if the ring was outdoors, but after searching in multiple locations, the ring turned up in a grassy area where the gentleman and his kids played. Another opportunity to reunite a person with a sentimental possession!

Most searches fall into one or two categories. Either you know where the wedding band is lost, or you don’t. This success story is an example of why you shouldn’t give up hope on any lost possessions, even if you have no idea where they may be. Mokume-gane Wedding Band Lost in Silver Lake, CA Park…Found.

I had just gotten home from church today, and my wife was making breakfast for me when I received a call from Siobh’an about her husband’s lost wedding band. She said he had been at the park yesterday with their young son, having fun playing on the playground equipment and in the grassy part of the park, when later he noticed the ring missing. She and her husband went back and searched with sifters and rakes, until they lost hope. They found me on the Internet, and saw some of the stories I had posted, and decided to give me a call. I was available I said, as soon as I finished the breakfast that was being cooked for me. I told Siobh’an I would call her as soon as I was on my way, and gave her an estimate as to when I would arrive.

When I got there Siobh’an showed me the areas of where the loss may have taken place; her husband had given her all of the possibilities. As soon as I stepped into the sand where the playground equipment was, I could see how the ring could be lost in there; it was soft and very fine. She showed me the areas from the first to the last, so I chose to search in that order. As I was searching, a very tattooed young man holding a young child, came over to me to ask me if I hadn’t seen the sign posted which said that for adults to be in the children’s area, they needed to be with a child. I just looked up at him, and pointed backwards, when Siobh’an came to my rescue, letting him know why I was there; whew. I searched finding a few items like foil and zipper pulls, and heard a quarter sound. I showed her the zipper pull, and she was impressed that the detector would find it. I told her I also found a quarter and called her over to show her how well my detector identifies what I am looking for. I dug the item out, and moved my pin pointer around to locate it, when I saw this silver color ring. I picked it up and showed her, and it was all smiles from then on. When I looked at the ring, it had a very unique design, and she explained how it is made by combining 3 different metals together in a process refined by Japanese craftsmen. One of the metals was silver, and that probably dominated the reading on my detector. Siobh’an told me her husband was pretty sad after losing his ring, so not only was I able to see her smile, but I am glad I was able to make his day as well.

Bellaire Causeway Lost Go Pro Found and Returned by SRARC

Matt received a brand new Go Pro 3 for Christmas and recorded the celebrations his family enjoyed over the holidays. With lots of space still available for filming he took the camera to his favorite fishing spot and decide to try and get a few underwater shots of his lure as he worked it into shore. He walked out to the edge of an oyster bar he was working and placed the camera right at the edge of the bar and wedged it into place with the shells. He walked away to get a good angle to drag the lure past the lens and when he returned, the water had become very muddy from his foot steps. He looked and looked for hours, He even got some snorkel gear and swam around the area searching but had no luck. He was heartbroken for the loss of the camera, but mostly for the loss of the precious pictures of his family.

He eventually found some of the members of the SRARC ring finders team and we put together a search to recover the camera. Mike Miller scheduled the search for 8:00 am at the lowest tide of the week. The team (Mike, Paul Hill, Ed Osmar, Rick Magyar, Stan Flack, and Mark Sillence) went to work right at 8:00 am and in less than a minute Paul spotted the Go Pro setting in the oyster bed. We didn’t even have a chance to fire up the metal detectors. Nice job Team SRARC!!!!!

Matt had to work so he wasn’t around when we found it but we contacted his wife who told us where to find him. We delivered the camera to him at his workplace, and as you can see in the picture he was very pleased. It was a pleasure to be able to find and return his Christmas gift and great to see the big smile on his face.

Lost Texas A&M Class Ring Clear Creek (Houston, Texas

Lost Texas A&M Ring while kayaking the rain swollen Clear Creek (Houston, Texas)

Tuff searching conditions and negative results were the unfortunate outcome of this year’s first search.

I was contacted by Joe who found “The Ring Finders” on-line while searching for help on how to find his lost ring. Joe said, he and his girlfriend had been navigating their way down Clear Creek in their kayaks when he managed to lose his ring.

Joe said the kayaking conditions were tuff, with muddy conditions at both the launch and recovery locations. Joe said he believed the ring may have slipped of hos finger in the muddy conditions at either the launch or recovery location.

Joe’s new 2016 class ring was not found, but we plan to return in the following month when the water in the creek has receded. The edges of the creek were very steep and slippery, with waters depths exceeding any possibility of entering the water safely.

Lost Wedding Band in Lafayette Louisiana – Found

We received a call from Kevin on January 3, 2016, Sunday evening. He had lost his wedding ring while taking Christmas lights down. The ring was very large and has 5 diamonds in it. Kevin was upset about the loss, but even more so because the diamonds were from him Mom. Kevin lives only about 6 miles away, but it was late so we made plans for Monday morning. Sid and Kevin both had to work, but Carrie met up with Kevin’s wife Kathryn to start the hunt. Kathryn showed me where the lights had been and the area where Kevin had rolled up and boxed the lights. Kevin had also blown the leaves in the yard and around the sidewalk and driveway area. The search area may need to be expanded. Our son James was off work so he said he would help. James has never used a metal detector before. After talking with Kathryn, I set James up with Sid’s detector and pin pointer to work around the driveway area. I went hunt in the front yard. I was checking the flower bed around where the lights had been in the bushes, but decided to check the yard area where he rolled up the lights first. Then would come back to the flower beds. Well, I turned around, took about one step and there I heard it, the sound of gold! I looked down and there it was laying on top of the grass, in plain sight. Only took a couple of minutes to end the search. I knocked on the door, and needless to say Kathryn was shocked that it was found so quickly!

Lost Ring in Kelowna snow returned

Ubit was heading for the morning bus, on the way he stopped to brush the snow off his clothes. He quickly realized that his ring was lost in the process. No problem he went back home and found a metal detector rental company, after a few hours of searching with no luck, he went around the neighbourhood and posted lots of distress posters. The ring was given to him by his mother, it was of extreme importance,  and it had a spiritual meaning to him.  He searched  the internet, here he found me on The Ringfinders site, I told him I would be there the next morning.  When I arrived he was not home, but his roommate showed me the location where he lost the ring. When he arrived home 10 minutes later he was surprised to see that I had found the ring.
