While using a rope swing in this beautiful Pond by Rodney, Ontario, this gentleman’s wedding ring slipped off when he let go and hit the water. After long breath holds in 10-15 feet of water with no luck, he found me on the ring finders site. I brought my scuba equipment out and suited up, after a 1/2 hour swinging my metal detector over the mud, that buzz sounded and the ring showed up with it’s gold shine through that fine silty water! What a happy customer!
I received a Facebook message from Lexi yesterday who asked if I could find her iPhone that was lost on the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ. I met with Lexi and Lucy yesterday afternoon and got the details. Lucy used the find my phone app to help find the approximate location. A group of beachgoers graciously moved so I could expand the search out by 10 ft. The phone was found buried a few inches under the sand.
Someone tagged me in a post on Facebook about a gold bracelet that was lost yesterday in Sea Isle City, NJ. Pat didn’t realize his bracelet was missing until he was home later that day. He thought it may have gotten caught on his umbrella while packing up and dropped in the sand. I received a message from Stephanie about a lost gold wedding band with diamonds. I contacted her and she told me the approximate location of where she lost it. It makes it a little more difficult when you are not able to meet the person and get a little better location. On my first attempt I was not able to locate it mainly due to the amount of people on top of the spot. I decided to hunt the beach and check later. It worked! When I returned the area was clear of people and I was able to grid the entire area off. It ended up being in a different spot that I first grid off. I was able to meet her and surprise her with the find. Gigmaster on youtube!
Many times people come up to me on the beach to say they lost an item. This case is no different. This man lost his ring while moving from one site to another. Unfortunately it was not where he thought. A quick grid of the area produced the ring!

I received a text message from a young lady who said she lost her engagement ring in the water at Trout Lake, this lake was only 20 minutes from my location and I just got off of work so I went to meet her at the lake. When we met at the lake it was just after 9 PM and it was the longest day of the year so I knew if I got in the water quickly I’d be able to record this search with the light we had left. I also decided to take a silver ring with me as I knew her ring was silver with gold, just a fake her out when I did find it. She went on to tell me it was in waist deep water and she only lost it one hour before I got there so I was very confident this ring would be found quickly.
I asked her how she heard about TheRingFinders and she told me the lifeguards gave her the number… I got into the water and within 20 minutes I found her beautiful custom Silver & Gold engagement ring. I faked her out with my silver ring and then presented her with her ring, I love surprising people and seeing the reaction!

This young man lost a very special silver pendant at Jericho Beach, three days later he reaches out for help. We made arrangements to meet at the beach unfortunately it would have to be after I finished work, so we set up a time for 1:30 AM to search for the silver pendant.
After meeting Vinny and his sister and her boyfriend in the early hours of the morning we walked along the beach to the area where he lost his pendant. After removing a lot of trash in the area I begin my search for almost two hours, after cleaning out all the target signals except for one big iron target, I decided to move all the sand away from the Iron and that was a good thing as Murphy’s Law would have it… I found his pendant which was right on top of the iron target.
Close to 3:30 AM I was able to surprise Vinny with his cherished silver pendant…

This beach was private and I asked to owner to check on getting me permission to detect. She was able to obtain permission and off we went. This was in some pretty soft sand and it had been a couple days. After searching for an hour I was about to give up and as I was coming out of the deeper water I got a very scratchy light hit but it was in the proper range for the ring. It was basically my LAST target and BAM! I was very happy to be able to return this beautiful 1 carat diamond ring!
