Chris contacted me last night and asked for help to find his wedding ring. He put his Tungsten wedding ring in the pouch of his chair. When he packed up his ring fell out into the sand and he spent 1 1/2 hours searching for it.
We met up in the parking lot the next morning and Chris new exactly where he was sitting which helped me locate the ring in about 2 minutes.
Thanks for contacting me Chris!

Surf City NJ (LBI) Lost Wedding Ring on the Beach recovered by Edward Trapper NJ Ring Finder August 2022

Got a call from Susan about her ring she dropped in the sand today in Surf City NJ. It had great sentimental value to her, as I could tell after just a short time on the phone. Lucky I was able to arrive promptly, as she had made reservations for later in the afternoon. Kudos to her and her husband for preparing the area it was lost, which made for a quick recovery. A very short time later they were on their way, with her cherished ring back on her finger. So many happy memories doing this.

Got a call Saturday from Karen about her husband Victors ring, that was lost in the sand in Beach Haven on LBI. I met them at 5AM Sunday, but had no luck in locating the ring. Victor was positive the ring had fallen off his chair when he was applying sunblock, so I decided to go back Monday afternoon. After a short while, and with the help of lifeguards Grace, Maggie, and Kyle, the ring was located and returned to Victor.

18K GOLD WEDDING RING LOST AT HUNTINGTON BEACH FOUND AND RETURNED

  • from Seal Beach (California, United States)

I was metal detecting one Saturday afternoon on a warm June day last month, down by the water in Huntington Beach. I was  finding a few coins here and there, when I got a loud signal and said to myself wouldn’t it be nice if it was a gold ring. Well, one scoop and there it was, a large man’s white gold ring. I was surprised and happy. I took a photo when I got to my car and sent it  to my friend Stan a fellow ring finder and said “first one of the year”. I hadn’t done a lot of detecting for over the year due to a car accident and an illness, so my day ended on A good note. I got an unexpected call on Tuesday morning on the way to play tennis, my friend Stan called me and let me know that a guy named Jeremy from Colorado was visiting California on the previous Saturday and lost his wedding ring, my friend said it sounded like the same  one I found. He gave me Jeremy’s phone number so I called him after tennis, We exchanged photos, and it turns out the ring was his. It really is  a small world. I sent his ring out that day, and he had it back on his finger by Friday. He was so happy to be reunited with his ring and I was glad to help a nice person. Just another example of how Ringfinders is a great website that brings joy to so many people.

Reciced a call about a Lost wedding ring at work mid week… I talked with Nathan bout what had happened…… He said he was working on his daughters swing set group making it even….  He said at some point he looked on his hand  and his ring was gone…. He said it must have slipped off while doing the dirt work on the swing set…. I immediately started searching ( thinking it was gonna be a very short search nope it wasn’t)…. I asked Nathan what  is the probability it was in the small area he was working in he said 99.9 percent… I asked him what he was wearing while working he said a pair of shorts… Nathan went and looked in the shorts he didn’t find it.”….  I said ok let’s go….. unfortunately while I searching Nathan had to return to work…. Nathan’s wife came outside and I started to chat with her…. About about an hour and a half  said to Nathan’s wife I’m pretty sure it wasn’t here in the back yard as the back yard was small…. I was covering the dirt pile and asked his wife what he was wearing she said a pair of shorts….. I told her I asked him the same question… I asked her to go search his shorts again she said ok…. Im looking around again and I hear from the side of the house…. Nathan’s wife came around on the side and said I found it… I said no way…. She looked again in his shorts and there it was…. I texted Nathan and showed him my ring he said no that’s not it but that it was a good find …. So five minutes later I texted him his ring and he said yup that’s my ring…. Gordon called me and said his fiancé  lost her engagement ring while having a bon fire at Huntington Beach. I arrived in about 20 minutes and they had circled a large area where her ring went flying when she was waving her arms.

It took me about 3 passes in the circled area with my detector and I had the ring in my scoop. Everyone was happy and satisfied with this metal detecting service from the ring finders.

Lost wedding band, East Brunswick, NJ February 2022

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

I saw and add on a lost ring site that somebody had lost their wedding band while walking in a park. The add had all the pertinent information of the exact area it was lost. I quickly messaged Michelle explaining that she should just post the generic information due to the fact that unfortunately many people are dishonest, and may possibly go locate it and never return it to her. I also forwarded my ring finders link and told her if she needed help give me a shout. She liked my up front approach and honesty, so we arranged to meet at the park. we went over all the details, an while i was searching alongside the path, she walked with me to show exactly where she was. Unfortunately I had no luck, so I told her where to search in her car, post some flyers around spots she had went, an MOST importantly, do not through out her trash, but go home and dump it out and sift through it very carefully. 2 days later she messaged me in total shock, YES she found it stuck to a box. Although I did not locate it with my machine, I positively, with my knowledge in lost rings and jewelry, get 100% credit for her finding her beautiful platinum/diamond ring.

Lost prescription glasses, Ponce Inlet, Fl….Found and returned to owner!

While enjoying a beautiful day at Ponce Inlet beach, Mark had laid his very expensive glasses on one of the speakers under the canopy and completely forgot about them. He and his family spent most of the day relaxing on the beach, listening to their music, swimming and working on the great tan that Mark has! Later in the afternoon the skies began to darken and as much as they hoped it would pass–a big tropical thunder storm quickly came up along with strong winds and lightening off in the distance. Mark and his family frantically grabbed up their towels and belongings, tore down the canopy as fast as they could and made a run for cover. The tide was coming in fast as well and soon the area where they had their things set up was being washed with the high tide salt water waves.

At first they thought they had gotten all their things safely to dry cover and then Mark asked if anyone had seen his glasses. No one had picked them up so as soon as the rain let up Mark made his way down onto the beach and began looking for his glasses. Two days passed and Mark began worrying that his 500 dollar prescription glasses might be gone for good and then a thought came to him. “Treasure Hunter near me!” And after typing that phrase into Google he found my name and number on “theringfinders.com web site and we met later on that very day!

Mark explained what happened and showed me where they set up their canopy two days earlier. I asked a few questions about his glasses. Were they heavy or thin framed? Was the sand soft or hard packed the day the glasses went missing? And I could see a line of sea weed where the high tides had come up to. I started my grid search thinking that just maybe, if his glasses were heavy enough, they may have sunk just under the surface of the sand. So treading lightly I began to swing my coil with Mark watching my every move. I stopped and told Mark to start looking the immediate area over along the high tide mark because just maybe his glasses were light enough that the waves pushed them along and deposited them close by. Ten minutes passed and as I was finishing up detecting the small area I heard Mark say, “Hey..Look at this!” And there, sticking out of the brown sea weed was a thin framed pair of prescription glasses…full of sand and half disguised…but none the less just fine!

Mark was shocked and so thankful to have his glasses back once again! And thanks Mark for calling me and giving me the opportunity to help get your glassed back where they belong!
