Victoria and Tyler were hanging on their anniversary out by their children’s private school soccer field while watching one of their daughters play sports amongst the other children. Because it was such a special day for the couple, the two of them took pictures with their phones during the time that they were at the school grounds.

At some point, Victoria realized that she no longer had her beloved 14 karat rose gold and half infinity style diamond wedding band on her finger. The couple searched desperately all around the grassy field where Victoria played with her family, as well as looked all over the wood chip covered tot lot area. Sadly, the ring was nowhere to be found. It was extremely depressing for both Victoria and Tyler knowing that it was their special anniversary celebration day.

In addition to the family searching for the sentimental keepsake, there were about 20 or 30 children and adults looking all over the private school grounds with the hope that the very special piece of jewelry would show up. Even a metal detectorist who lived in the area, came out to see if he could find Victoria’s wedding band. Though he was not able to find the ring, he remembered referring another couple to me when they lost their ring and the fellow highly recommended my ring finding services.

After talking with Victoria regarding the loss of her irreplaceable rose gold and diamond wedding band, we set up a time for me to come out and meet up with Tyler so you could show me all of the places where Victoria had moved about behind the school four days earlier.

I am so excited to share that after 5 minutes of searching for the lost ring, I successfully recovered the special keepsake over by the soccer field. Well I did my metal detecting, about fifteen little private school kids watched as I conducted the search. I could not have been more happy for Victoria and Tyler after finding the ring buried below the grass! There were other places that I could have searched, but I chose that particular spot after Tyler told me that Victoria had laid her son down into the grass over by that particular place. I was correct in suspecting that the ring could have slipped off of Victoria’s finger at that moment in time!

It brought me such joy to transport the wedding band over to the couple’s house later that evening! They could not have been more grateful and more celebratory over the return of something that could not have possibly been replaced with another ring! The entire family joined me in giving thanks to the Lord for answering our prayer that Tyler and I lifted up to God just before I started the search! I’m so grateful to my Creator for giving me the ability to help such special people like Victoria and Tyler!

Ring Recovered Pensacola Beach

I got called Saturday morning from John asking if I could help in finding his wedding band. He thought it was lost in a rather small area on the sandy beach, which he was standing guard over so no one would disturb the sand causing it go deeper. Both he and his wife were most concerned something would happen and his ring would be lost forever and could I come right away. I arrived about 45 minutes later and got to know John as we searched the area he thought contained his ring. John is from Mississippi and loves the outdoors and hadn’t been married that long. But this day he wasn’t happy, having lost his ring. He claimed I needed to find the ring to save his marriage, I’m sure just hyperbole. He had consulted with his friends back home about how to proceed, thought about buying a metal detector but someone had hear of us and recommended Pensacola Ring Finders as a more economical route. We couldn’t find it in the logical area so after brainstorming his activity determined when he moved a cooler the ring may have been sent sailing in a south easterly direction. So I searched that area and kept expanding and indeed found this ring in the steep slope leading to the water. It was found probably 40 feet from were he moved the cooler. Needless to say he was happy and impressed that I could find such a small item in such a large area. He said he was going to get a detector when he got home to do some detecting in Mississippi around where he lives. I said if he needed partners to hunt with we would be happy to assist!

Property Markers Found In Saco, Maine With A Metal Detector

I had received a call last week from Kathleen and her husband Bob. They were interested in finding their property markers that they hadn’t seen since the home was built, 30 years ago, here in Saco. We made an appointment for me to search for the markers for today, 10/11/23.

I showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and both Kathleen and Bob were there to greet me. The 1st marker we searched for was the right front corner of the house, as you faced it. When I turned the detector on, it went haywire, with it constantly going off and I couldn’t get a good signal. I was then told all the utility wires were buried there. I made an adjustment to the detector, still no help. I tried another detector, still lots of interference.

So, Bob suggested we check the front left of the home, near the culvert. Thankfully, no interference but lots and lots of iron objects were being dug. Nails, pipes and iron objects we didn’t even recognize. Bob then told me when the house was built, it was the last house on the street and where the property marker was , there was not a road or culvert yet. When the housing development expanded, a road and culvert were put in and those improvements were done with fill. Could the property marker been moved and or buried with all the infrastructure improvements? Not sure but after many, many iron objects and no marker, Bob and Kathleen suggested we go to the back, wooded area of the property and search for those. We started on the right backside of the property and after digging a few iron objects, we thankfully found the marker. We then went to the back left side of the property, the same side as the culvert, and Bob and Kathleen were not very optimistic about finding this one because along the small stream, many large trees had come down and according to Bob, the stream looks like it has been altered some, by the downed trees. We did our due diligence and search up and down the banks of the stream, without any luck. Could the marker be under one of the fallen trees or swept away by the stream changing course? Not sure but it was not in the area they thought it would be.

I decided to try looking for the 1st marker, near the buried utility wires. This time, knowing where the back right marker was, I searched about 10 feet to the left of where I had been searching earlier. This area lined up better with the back property marker and thankfully, there was no interference from the utility wires. Our 1st target turned out to be a nail. Our second target was exactly what we were looking for. The property marker had been found. Bob tells me that the city is coming out in the next month or so to do some culvert work, after all the heavy rain we have had the year. When the city is working in the culvert, Bob will measure from his other front marker and find the exact area of the missing marker. Hopefully when the culvert is being worked on, the city will take some of the fill out. At that point, I will return and see if it is still buried or still to deep from the fill that was placed on top of it. Kathleen and Bob were both very pleased at the outcome and can’t wait until I return.

Gold diamond wedding ring set lost from purse during a company party at Newport Beach

*** A lady named Pin had gone to a company beach party at a Newport Dunes Resort. It was a large group of over one hundred people with catered dinner, music and live entertainment. Most of the venue was set up on the sand.  Pin decided to take off her rose gold and diamond wedding ring set and put them in her basket type bag. 

After returning home, she couldn’t find her wedding rings in her purse. She assumed that they may have been pulled out when she was taking things out during her 3 hours on the beach. Then she had the thought that maybe somebody had stolen the rings. 

Pin called the main office to ask if anyone had reported wedding rings fo lost and found. One of the people at the office gave her my contact information. Pin called me giving me directions to where they had been during the beach party. She was unable to meet me at the location, so I went to the location of the screen shot map she had marked up.

After a couple hours of grid searching without finding the rings I had to leave because of rain. Early the next morning I returned to finish the search. I wasn’t the ten minutes before I got a great signal that turned up two beautiful rose gold wedding rings.  

I texted a photo of the rings to Pin and immediately she called me. She was so excited we couldn’t talk much. She asked if I could hold the rings till for a couple days because they were out of town. No problem, we met the next weekend to return her very special rings.

Wedding Ring Recovered at Orange Beach

I met Jeff and Mandi at Orange Beach Alabama where they were enjoying a week of rest and relaxation at the beach when Jeff lost his wedding ring. This ring held unfathomable sentimental significance that culmination in a romance that spanned more that 30 years. The story began when Jeff and Mandi met at the University of Southern Alabama. They became very close while in College and frequented the area attractions including the beaches. Their favorite spot was Fairhope and more specifically the Fairhope Pier that over looked Mobile Bay. Some time near graduation they were visiting the Pier and Jeff proposed presenting an engagement ring, Mandi accepted! But it was not to be, much later Mandi returned the engagement ring and they went in different directions. But they stayed friends and because of the family connections stayed in touch. Twenty five years later, the romance rekindled. They were living in different states and developed a long distance relationship. After several years, they were vacationing near the beaches and Fairhope, which Mandi says is her “Happy Place”, and they decide to visit the pier. Once again Jeff proposed and gave her the same engagement ring from 30 years before! This time she accepted forever! Unbeknownst, their families got wind of the proposal and brought the party with them, to the pier! They were finally married after about 30 years, which brings us to the present when I recovered Jeff’s wedding band. In the picture above you can see the engraving inside the band. The entire engraving reads. At Last Love Mandi. Mandi showed me the ring that was given to her thirty years earlier and again four years ago. The day I recovered Jeff’s ring the surf was quite rough several waves broke over my head, but Jeff’s ring was found in about 3 minutes. I went right to it. I can’t help but think that I was meant to find it and return it to this super couple as testament to their faith, perseverance and love!

LOST GOLD ENGAGEMENT RING IN MOCKSVILLE, NC……….. FOUND!!!!

Received a call from Caleb that his newly engaged to fiancé Nichole (less than a week), had lost her engagement ring while out tending to the farm animals on their farm. They had looked for hours into the night with flashlights, metal detectors and many eyes to no avail.

We set up the date/time for me to come out to attempt to locate and home to give it back to Nichole.

I got off at 2pm, drove 2 hours and met up with Nichole and her mom. They proceeded to tell me the details, areas to search based on where they were and what they were doing leading up to her losing her ring and later realizing she had lost it on the farm.

We started in the goat pens 3 without goats and 2 with goats. I cleared them and then proceeded to the other areas to search. I cleared them and then expanded my search a little further from the areas in question. I kept going over them over and over again for over 2.5 hours!!

Finally, as a LAST effort to clear one of the pens that had goats in them. I stepped back in and scanned the pen with the female goats were being kept and heard a signal in the hay. Bent down and used my pin pointer and BOOM there was her ring! I had just barely missed it the first time I had gone in there!!!

Her mom had known I found it and we set up a story/surprise to capture her reaction on video!! Her reaction was PRICELESS!!!!

Al and his father were repairing a sprinkler system on his recently purchased home in Hammonton, NJ. When he reached out to me for assistance in locating several of the sprinkler heads that had been buried over time. Later that day I met up with them and began the search for the heads with my metal detector. Shortly after, I had my first signal that I was looking for. Then the others came up one by one! I was able to save them some time in finding them!

Lost Gold with Black & White Diamonds Wedding Band at Ulua Lagoon…FOUND!!!

This ring hunt began when I was called by Megan who lives on Oahu with her husband CJ.  She had purchased a detector from Walmart and went to Ulua Lagoon to try and find CJ’s Yellow Gold with Black & White Diamonds Wedding band in shallow water.  He lost it the day before playing with his young daughter in the water.  The metal detector she purchased at Walmart would start chirping in the wet sand and was impossible to use in the water.  Phil from Aloha Security Team saw her struggling and went down to the beach to let her know one she wasn’t allowed to detect the beach and second that they had a guy who would find it for her.  Relieved someone was available she called me and I just happened to be finishing a scuba hunt at Four Seasons but unfortunately I only had my scuba detector.  However, I was going to squat and do whatever I could as she thought it was only ankle to knee deep.  The hunt was unsuccessful.  I told her I would return the next morning to hunt.  When I arrived and the sun came up the area I needed to hunt was plastered with Box Jellies alive and dead.  I stopped counting at around 80!  I texted Megan we would have to wait two days.  Once I got home I started thinking about the unauthorized detectorist we found at Lagoon 4 and I decided I’ll put on my 3 mil wetsuit and booties and go dodge the jellies.  This morning I only saw a dozen or so but I was fully protected.  I started the hunt and on about the 6th leg I got a nice tone on the Nox 800 in knee deep water.  After one scoop there was CJ’s stunning ring in the scoop.  We met at the Hickam AFB Post Office for the return.  CJ was extremely thankful and I found out we served on the same ship USS George Washington CVN-73,  although many years apart.  Much Aloha to CJ & Megan!

*** Haja was playing volleyball with friends at a local park in Irvine, CA. She hit a ball over the net and he gold wedding ring went flying into the sand. She knew the second it left her finger. The next day she returned to sift through the sand. Then she ordered a metal detector from Amazon.

The day the metal detector was delivered, she went to the volleyball court to continue the search. Nothing showed up. Her friend who had been helping her decided to go online for advice. They found my information and called. 

I met them shortly after talking to them . The park was only a few miles from my place.  With my state of the art metal detector and experience using it. We had Haja’s wedding ring out of the sand and back to Haja were it belongs.

Heirloom, Gold Signet Ring Lost, Recovered and Returned in Ardmore, PA!

Louis found me in the Ring Finder directory after losing his heirloom, gold signet ring while trimming hedges at his Ardmore, PA home. I met him next day and he showed me the area where he thinks it fell off. It was obvious he had been searching for it…the area was thoroughly raked and barren of refuse. I told him not to worry…if it was there I would find it. It was maybe a 25 foot length hedgerow in the front of his house..he was convinced it was prob deep in middle of hedgerow amongst the roots. I wasn’t convinced and thought I would first scan the grass that runs parallel to hedge row…search the easy area first! I was about 20 feet into my search and received a strong surface gold signal on my machine. I bent down and I could just see a gold circle pressed into dirt…it was immediately obvious to me that Louis probably stepped on it while searching for it. Louis was standing  behind me…i stood back up and pointed downward. He walked up to me…bent down…and plucked his precious gold ring out of the dirt.  was very happy to be able to return his ring to him!
