Sentimental, White Gold Diamond Stud Earring Lost, Recovered and Returned in Philadelphia, PA!!!
Daniel found me in The Ring Finders directory after losing a very sentimental white gold, diamond stud earring while playing beach volleyball in Philadelphia, PA. The pair of earrings were given to him years before by his parents. Anyone who has been around metal detecting for a while, especially us Ring Finders, knows that finding stud earrings with any metal detector can be a challenge…and honestly this search put all my skills to the test. Diamond stud earrings are just so small and have such little metal on them they are hard to pick up with any machine. I met Daniel and brought 2 of my 4 machines…I brought the new highly advanced Minelab Manticore with a 15 inch coil and my Minelab Equinox 800 with the 6 inch coil. The nice thing is that Daniel had an identical earring still in his possession so I could scan it and see if either of my machines would pick it up. I placed the earring on the ground and tried scanning it with the Manticore…NOTHING! Couldn’t get a peep with sensitivity all the way up in any mode! Then tried the Equinox not a peep in my usual modes…field or park. Then i switched the Equinox to gold prospecting mode and bam….was able to get it pretty good….VDI 1-2 up to 4-5 inches away from the coil. I started scanning the beach volleyball court…in short order i actually found 2 other earring backs…neither from Daniel’s earring…but at least I had the machine settings right. I probably dug 15-20 tiny bits of tin foil…amazing how sensitive the machine was behaving. I was at it for 55 minutes and committed to Daniel I would search for an hour. I stopped and asked him one more time where he was standing when a ball hit his ear and knocked the earring out….I would use the last 5 minutes in that area. With 60 seconds to spare I’m going to dig this one last signal …..BOOM….There was his beautiful diamond earring…in all my years I don’t think i whooped and hollered as I did right then! I was so happy to be successful and be able to get Daniel’s precious earring back in his possession!!!

Platinum Wedding Band Lost While Cutting Yard-Found
Kevin had contacted me and said he had lost his wedding band in the yard while cutting the grass. They had looked for it for a couple of days but the weeds in that area were quite tall and finding a ring visually was out of the question. I found the ring in an area where the weeds were around eight inches tall. Total search time was around an hour.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Right After Wedding-Found!
Linsey called me and said they had held a wedding venue in their yard for their daughter and son-in-law. Her yard was quite large and her son-in-law had lost his ring right after the wedding. She had purchased a metal detector but struck out. Because of the size of the yard I set up a grid search and it took me all of two hours before I found it. Her daughter and son-in-law were out of town at the time.

LOST 10k CUSTOM GOLD RING in BADIN, NC….. FOUND!!
Received a text/call last night from a gentleman that proceeded to tell me his wife lost a custom engagement ring while they were swimming yesterday.
He said she lost it in waist deep water. They had gotten to the spot by boat, but I found a half mile trail, there and back, I could take without needing to launch my boat.
I get to the site and got set up, walked into the water and got a solid hit on my first target! Two scoops later and it was in the basket!!!
I texted him and we met up to give it back to him!

14 Kt White Gold Engagement Ring Lost In Skeleton Lake, Alberta

In response to Michael’s call, I agreed to retrieve his wife Emily’s lost engagement ring. Emily had placed her rings in her bag and while on the dock, She reached into her bag for a towel and inadvertently pulled her ring out with the towel, the ring fell through the gap on the deck into three feet of water beneath the dock.
Michael had searched for the ring under the dock, but poor visibility and weeds on the lake bottom made it impractical. He had consulted the Ringfinders website and located my contact information.
I accepted the request to conduct a search after confirming the details. Upon arriving at Michael and Emily’s residence, I spoke with Emily, who provided me with the circumstances of the incident.
Approaching the dock, I commenced my search. Michael guided me directly to the location where the ring had fallen through the boards into the lake. After a few minutes of searching, I successfully retrieved the ring using a scoop. I presented the ring to Michael, who was astounded by its discovery. The entire process had taken only a few minutes.
Returning to Michael’s house, I returned Emily’s ring, which she was overjoyed to wear once more.
I express my gratitude to Michael and Emily for entrusting me with the retrieval of their lost ring.
