Lost tungsten wedding ring recovered Tilden Nebraska

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

Kati had posted in her small town social media site about needing help to find her husbands lost wedding ring. Chris was working in the back yard doing some demolition work when he put his ring in his pocket to keep it safe. Later when he got in the house and reached in to put his ring back on, you guessed it, it was not there. Julie a lady who grew up in Tilden, looked me up and asked if I could help. This is true small town comradeship. I said I’d love to come find it for them. I took a special road trip for this recovery, video below. I respect if people don’t want to have their picture taken with their ring, what matters is we got it back and made some smiles. Thanks Kati and Chris for entrusting the recovery of the ring to me.

Lost wedding ring in the sand, Holgate NJ, LBI, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

Jersey shore ring finder ring finder south jersey Gregg called and asked if I would be able to help him find his wedding ring he had lost on the dune walkover in Holgate NJ. We were having some unusual swarming mosquitos, and when he was heading over to the ocean they bombarded him when he was almost at the top. When he tried to swat them away, unfortunately his wedding ring flew off his hand and most likely landed up on the dunes somewhere. We arranged to meet the next afternoon, knowing his ring would be safe in that location. I had read on one of the local Facebook pages how bad they were after days of heavy rain, but never experienced anything quite this like this. I pulled up in the driveway, and no sooner had my door opened,  I would venture to say, there were 20 or more in my truck. With that said, out came the sweatshirt and bug spray. I really hate mosquitos. Greg and I went over again exactly what had happened, as we walked quickly to the spot  he had marked with some little sticks and stuff. I turned on my machine, put on the headphones, and for whatever reason it would not quiet down. I asked him to stand facing exactly the way he was, and to demonstrate the swatting motion he used when the ring went flying. It looked like it probably could have flown up in the dune grass, but with the motion he showed me, my hunch was it went straight down. So, as these nuisance bugs are like a cloud around us, I moved back to where I turned on the machine, which was also the spot he was when the ring came off. And now I know why the machine was so noisy!!!!! Bingo!!!! It was sitting right on top of his ring. The more detective work one can do the better. The entire hunt only lasted about 10 minutes at best. Making memories again on LBI.

Engagement Ring Lost In Beaufort, NC Ditch Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Leina called to report her ring was somewhere along a dirt road but she knew the general area.  Her concern was there were heavy rains the day she called and was thinking it would be more difficult to locate her treasured ring.

I met Leina the next morning and she had said she bought a metal detector and tried to locate it herself but was finding way too many pieces of trash and numerous unknown signals.  She had given me a search area and I was also pulling out various metal items.  We continued along a wet ditch which had a tall metal fence on the opposite side.  The fence was causing my machine to sound off when I swung too close.  Leina was upset and I tried to calm her down with conversation.  We seemed to have a lot in common when it came to living through our years.  While I continued to search the roadside and ditch beyond her marked area, I was pulling more trash and then I finally hit the right spot.  Leina didn’t even noticed I had found her ring in the weeds and water.  I stood there to take a break and listen to what she was talking about (her upcoming wedding).  She was so stressed.  I held out may hand with her ring and said “Maybe this will help”.  She melted with tears and joy

Lost Diamond Gold Wedding Ring Recovered In Baltimore, Maryland!

  • from Baltimore (Maryland, United States)
Contact:

I was just about to put my equipment away after an earlier recovery this week when I got a call about a lost wedding ring just outside of Baltimore city. The ring was lost while doing yardwork in some very dense ivy. Luckily my schedule was free in the afternoon, so we made plans to meet up immediately. Once I arrived, I was shown the area that the ring was believed to be in. It was a relatively small area approximately 10ft x 6ft, but as the owner stated in was very dense ivy and there was an AC unit, a metal handrail and a large bush in the area. All of these items add complexity to the search. Shortly after finding a few “trash” targets, I got a clean signal from my detector! Upon moving some ivy vines to the side, a glint of gold caught my eye!

Needless to say, the owner was delighted and relieved!

Two successful ring recoveries in less than a week! I hope you never need my services, but if you do, do not hesitate to contact me. And keep in mind, it’s not only jewelry I recover, but anything made of metal that you lost!

Lost mens ring IN A TRUCK recovered in LAS VEGAS

  • from Las Vegas (Nevada, United States)
Contact:

Received a call to look for a men’s ring that he lost in his truck. He was certain that it was IN the truck. I explained to his wife that a metal detector doesn’t work in an automobile, but I could still come out with some equipment that might help. I arrived and did an initial search. There weren’t many areas that the ring could fall in. Her husband and I unloosened the front seats so I had better views of any openings. There were only 6 areas in the carpet that a ring could fall into. The vents under the two front seats, under the gas peddle, and several other random cuts. I used my special camera and first searched both front seats. Since they were removed, I was able to a very thorough search of each seat (nothing).

I then used my camera to search under the gas peddle and then within each opening under the carpet. First in the vents (nothing). Then I searched the under the carpet by the vents. (BINGO). Took close to 3 hours for the search but we found it.
