I found this ring in about 5 feet of water after about 40 minutes in Long Beach Ca. This was recovered on August 16th

Lost Platinum Wedding Band at Hale Koa Volleyball Courts…FOUND!!!
This ring hunt occurred yesterday evening when I got a call from Noa who lives in Aina Haina on Oahu. While going up to block a volleyball spike at 50 MPH, the ball struck Noa’s Platinum Wedding band and he felt it come off. They immediately halted the game to see if anyone had spotted where it landed. Unfortunately no one did. They ran there hands lightly across the sand where they thought it would be but to no avail. Noa reached out to me and I agreed I’d come right down before the night crew of detectorists hit the beach. Easy parking and when I arrived Noa had already drawn a box of where the ring should be. I fired up the Manticore and started the search. The area was mostly sterile of targets. I covered the eastern half of the court and no ring was found. I expanded out in every direction on the eastern half but no ring. Surprisingly, I found a 1927 Buffalo Nickel! I even went perpendicular to my previous search, just in case. I talked to Noa and his lovely wife Camille and the only thing left was to try the western half of the court but none of us were hopeful knowing how the ball hit Noa’s hand and the probable trajectory of his ring. Then on about the fourth line of the grid I got a booming target and in one scoop I could here a heavy clunking in the scoop. To all of our surprise, it was Noa’s Platinum Ring. We can’t imagine how it got to that location just thankful to Jesus it was found. Then there were hugs of relief all around. Aloha to Noa & Camille!
Yellow Gold Loop Earring Lost in the Sand, Found and Returned North Myrtle Beach SC
On Monday, August 24, 2026, I received a voice mail saying in part, “Candy, lost a ring on North Myrtle Beach. Give me a call back and I just wanted to discuss fees.” When I called her back, she told me that a yellow gold loop earring had been lost in the dry sand and asked what I charge. I explained the details on cost, and she asked if I could come. I told her I’d be there in 20 minutes, grabbed my Equinox 800 and hit the road.
I called Candy as I was walking out on the beach and she waved me down. I found out that Becky had her earring fall out of her ear and she showed me a 2’X2’ square where the ring should be. I asked Becky for the other earring so I could test it. After switching to ‘all metal’ mode, I got a loud and clear signal. I asked Becky and the 3 other ladies to move their chairs. As Becky picked up her chair, I swung the coil over the area and Boom! I had her earring in my hand before she set the chair down. Becky was extremely happy as this was a past anniversary present, and tomorrow just happens to be her anniversary.

Dorchester Gold Wedding Ring Found
While cutting the grass, this Dorchester man’s wedding ring slipped off his finger and into the grass. After searching for some time he looked up the ring finders and contacted me! Another great find!
LOST TRI-GOLD WEDDING RING AT WHISPERING PINES, NC…..FOUND!!!!
I received a referral from The Dive Guys (Alex Cogley-thanks again!) about someone needing a gold ring found over at Whispering Pines!
He got me in contact with Tiz Jefferson and she informed me her husband had lost his tri-gold wedding ring about 6-8 weeks ago while keep an eye out for about 7 kids in a swimming area. He felt it slide off and was like OH NO! They even bought a metal detector and tried to retrieve it themselves.
I set up a date and time with her for today at 5:30. I got to the site at about 5. After scanning the main area for almost an hour with no luck, I decided to expand my search area and I went deeper and in mossy areas for the last 30 mins. Then I get a signal at about 7 feet deep and 2 feet of moss. As I followed my pin-pointer to the target, my finger slipped into a ring and I knew I had finally found his ring!!!
I popped up holding the the ring up high as I swam back to shallower water. At first they didn’t realize I had found the ring, until I removed my mouth believe and said “I found it”!!! They both were so excited and happy to have it back. Before 7pm he had his ring back on his finger!!
After taking my gear off and putting it away, we snapped some photos and Mrs. Jefferson snapped a bunch of me in action!

Lost heirloom yellow gold chain in pond at Ft. Pierce Florida…Found and returned to owner!
This lost gold chain recovery began when I received a call from Max asking me if I could help him find his very sentimental and cherished gold chain in a small pond. He explained how he was at a friends place and they all decided to jump off the end of a dock into 7 feet of water and Max figured he would do a back flip. Knowing that his gold chain was long enough to come off over his head he deliberately held his hand by the side of his head to sort of catch or stop the chain from coming off…but in this case it did not work. Max felt his chain come off and it caught on his little finger and disappeared into the water and sank into the silty bottom of the pond. He knew it had to be real close to where he jumped in and he decided to buy a cheap hand held metal detector/pinpointer and tried his best to locate his lost gold chain and after a few attempts he decided to look online for more help. A few days later I met Max and armed with my 6 inch hand held Nokta Pulse Dive Scuba Detector and handy Blu3 Nemo dive system I jumped into the water and began carefully searching the target area. I found a number of items like sissors, a BB gun pistol, a ratchet strap, etc…before my fingers wrapped around a chain like object and as I cleaned the silt away I could see Max’s lost gold chain! Again I was reminded just how good GOD is to give me the opportunity and know how to help people find their lost treasures! What a privilege and blessing…and Max was super thrilled to see his special heirloom gold chain…a gift that was given to him by his father 5 years ago and the one that he hopes to wear the rest of his life!

Lost platinum wedding ring, recovered by metal detectorist, Paw Paw Lake, Watervliet Michigan
Lost while he was “dunking” a basketball in the dockside hoop. A few feet of water, not many weeds, high certainty it went straight down with the ball. They looked and looked, even bought a cheap metal detector to search, but no luck.
Made the arrangements, headed over this morning with all my gear. Fired up the detector, took one swing, dug the first signal and had a wedding band in the scoop. May have taken 10 or 20 seconds. Wish they all were that easy. Glad to have found it. Cheers and high fives when the upper deck onlookers heard the word.

Lost Gold Wedding Ring Found & Returned to Owner, Truckee River, Tahoe City, CA
Lacie contacted me and requested a recovery search for her husband’s wedding ring which was lost in the Truckee River two days prior.
River recoveries are the toughest. Fortunately, Lacie pinned the exact location where her husband felt the ring come off his finger while hand-paddling the raft in the cold Truckee River.
The recovery challenge was the ring had found it’s way into a small crack between to rocks. So it took several grid sweeps to locate.
