Lost ring in leaves found!

Dana sent me an email regarding Todd’s lost wedding band. Todd had to secure a fence near the back of his yard in Red Bank, New Jersey because one of his dogs is a successful escape artist. Unfortunately, the ring came off in the process, but he had an idea on the direction it might be, and that’s where I started to search. The wedding band was found shortly after, buried under a thick pile of leaves.

I received a call from Dawn whose friend saw my Ring Finders South Jersey page on Facebook and referred her to me.  Her daughter Julia lost her Cartier gold Love ring in the surf during a severe storm in Ocean City, NJ.  She was in ankle-deep water when strong gusts of wind suddenly blew the ring off her finger.  After speaking with Julia about the details of how and where she lost the ring, I started the search in knee-deep water and worked my way toward the beach.  I had to expand my search out about another 35 yards and the ring was found on the high on the slope! Never give up the search the rings can be found!

Bill gave me a call about his wife Amy’s rings that were lost in Brigantine, NJ. The couple was sitting on a blanket watching their son take surfing lessons when Amy placed a sentimental silver ring that was custom-made by her son and her wedding band on the blanket. She forgot her rings were there when she pulled up the blanket and shook it out. I met them later in the afternoon and was able to find both rings after a short grid-search.

Lost Wedding Band Found Sea Isle City New Jersey

I received a call early in the afternoon, from Jason who had lost his wedding band in the sand in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Jason said he had lost his wedding band while putting on sunscreen and it had flown off over his left shoulder.  After searching the sand around where they were sitting the ring was unable to be found.  With a quick internet search looking for a Ring Finder they found me and gave a call.  I was only 20 minutes away and within minutes of the speedy search where they were sitting the ring was found and returned! Jason was so excited that the ring was returned and that they could enjoy the rest of the weekend at the Jersey Shore!

Robin had lost her keys and reached out to me to see if I could help. She was working in a backyard/wooded area and they fell out of her pocket. I drove out and met Robin, surveyed the area and got started. After about 15 mins. I located the keys next to a tree under a bit of leaves and other debris. Jack called asking if I could help with the search of his lost wedding ring. I asked how the loss happened, and he explained that he had been gardening, and when he finished his ring was missing. We arranged a time for me to come to his place, and I was on my way.

When I got to the yard Jack showed me where he had been weeding and planting. I set up for the search, but there was a lot of metal all around the search area, so after trying with the detector, I had to resort to my pin pointer with lowered sensitivity. I slowly went around everything there, and was unable to find his ring. We then decided to pull the plants he had planted, and dig out the holes putting the dirt into piles away from the metal. On the second hole there was a clod of dirt that sounded off when the pin pointer got close. I reached over, broke the clod up, and there was his ring. I held it up to show Jack, and then there was the smile, he just couldn’t believe it, but was so happy to see it again.

I received a text from Vanessa telling me she had lost her ring in the sand at the beach. We sent texts back and forth with me asking questions about the loss. after a few responses I let her know that I would leave immediately to come and help her.

I got to the beach about an hour later, and found her because of the color of the beach chairs she told me to look for (green). Vanessa was with her husband of only a few months James, and I could see the area they had been searching. I then asked her to show where she had been standing, and exactly what she had done to lose her ring. There had been a bit of volley ball between the two of them, and when hitting the ball the ring flew off, and was gone. I began my search, and after taking a few steps I received a good signal, dug, and had a gold cross in my scoop. Well I knew I was looking for a ring, and knew I wasn’t done, but held up the cross, and said it isn’t a ring. Vanessa looked at me with a questioning look, and told me that was a cross her father had given her, but had no idea it had fallen in the sand as well. I continued my search for the ring, covering all of the area in question without a recovery. I let them know I was going to do a cross grid to insure a complete search. As I was searching I got a signal where I didn’t get one before, put the scoop in, and there was her beautiful diamond wedding ring. I figured the ring must have been on edge, and turned in such a way as to not be found when searching in the first direction. Toleen lost her wedding set in Ocean City, NJ yesterday while spending the day with her family on the beach.  The rings were placed in the pocket of the beach chair and fell in the sand when she folded it up. Her daughter, Alexa, searched and found my Ring Finders South Jersey page when the family realized the rings were lost. While getting some preliminary information before searching, I asked if anyone took any pictures when they sitting on the beach. Her daughter, Liana, had a TikTok video with houses in the background that helped give an approximate location. After roughly 35 minutes of gridding the area, the rings were found! Now Toleen and her family can enjoy the rest of their vacation in Ocean City, NJ.

                      I received a call  from Ali Saturday afternoon after she realized she lost her 14k white gold

and diamond engagement ring in the sand during a day at the beach in Avalon,  New Jersey.

Ali gave me the details of how the ring was lost; she put the ring in her T-shirt pocket, and it

 must have fallen out when the shirt was removed.  The search began in the area where

 she and her family were sitting. And after a few swings of the metal detector, the ring was found!
