Ladies class ring lost 19 years, returned

I was looking for a lost ring at Beechpoint Christian Campground at Dumont Lake in Allegan, Michigan last week, when I recovered a 2001 class ring from Lourdes High School in Chicago, Illinois. I haven’t found the original ring I was looking for yet but I found a great story with this class ring. There was a name inscribed inside the ring DaVonia C. F. so I looked her up on Facebook and sent her a message. After contacting several of her friends from FB, she was convinced this was not a scam. After taking the ring to my friend, Kenneth, from Russell and Ballard Jewelers to get cleaned, I called the local Fox 17 TV station and asked them if they would like to run a feel good story. I set up a time today to drive the 360 mile round trip from Grand Rapids, MI to Chicago where DaVonia lives and works to present her with her ring. I contacted Fox 32 TV station in Chicago to meet us at her work. After an interview and pictures we parted company and friends forever. I feel pretty good that at age 75 I can still make the ladies cry.

White gold Wedding Band ring lost at Oleta Park , Florida… found and returned to the owner

I got a call to find a white gold wedding band by a man. he wanted to wait to go to find it. I thought that it was ok to wait. Due to bad weather conditions and the fact that it was a state park. He was reviewing his videos of his  outing at the park to see exactly where he lost it. he changed the search location slightly by one exit . Then back again to the original. I then found it after about 10 minutes of searching . I was soo happy That I was able to find his wedding band.

How to find a Manhole Cover or Water Turn Off Valve with a Metal Detector.

Over the years I have been hired by contractors to find buried manhole covers and water turn off valves. I have the best equipment and over 45 years of experience in finding lost items, such as diamond engagement rings and gold & platinum wedding bands.

Sometimes locating a water turn off valve can be just as important to find as a diamond ring, for some people… Especially if your basement is flooding and you can’t find the turn off valve.

In the pictures below both the water turn off valve and manhole cover were accidentally covered up by grass and gravel.

Large mens Gold Wedding Band Lost & Found On Durley Chine Beach

Kim & his wife visited the beach one bright sunny afternoon. Swimming around in chest deep water the ring slipped from his finger & was only noticed when returning to the shore. He & his wife had given up any chance of finding it until they read an article in the national newspaper of myself & theringfinders.com

Meeting him at the location it had already been many days under the water & our chance of recovery were low I felt. After an hour searching nothing showed & we parted thinking ‘its lost’.

Not wishing to give up I tried one more time meticulousely scanning with the CTX3030 on a wet sand mode even extending the search bounderies we had set. After about two hours, suddenly, just outside one boundary came a faint signal. A scoop or two later a stronger signal until… there it was!

Finding that ‘impossible ring’ is what fuels the desire to not give up too early. Kim & his wife who recently become proud grandparets were delighted to have it back & made a generous donation to the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Charity.

I received a call last night from a young lady who said she lost her ring in the backyard. After asking my typical questions and waiting a few hours until it got dark, so she could search with a flashlight, I received a text message asking to come the next morning to find her ring.

The flashlight idea didn’t work this time, it has in the past, diamonds are heavy and go straight into the grass covering up most of the diamonds and only leaving a part of the gold band exposed.

When I got to the house at nine in the morning Colleen was there to greet me and show me where they believed the ring was lost. I recently hurt my back and have a very hard time walking these days, herniated disc & sciatic nerve damage. I was hoping this search was going to be as easy as it sounded on the phone. That being said, I’ve been fooled many times in the past, where the search sounded like it should only take minutes, sometimes take hours to find.

Well thankfully that wasn’t the case, this search took only a minute to find, I was so happy it showed up quickly for my back and for Colleen’s heart!

Heirloom ring recovered at South Haven, Michigan North Beach

I got a call from my friend Tom C. needing help finding a Platinum ring, with diamonds, lost in the surf. We went down at 6 AM before light to make sure we were the first ones in the water. Adam B. and his bride to be, Rosie, were playing volleyball in the water when she hit the ball and shot the ring off her finger. We searched for 2 hours when I got a good signal in about 4 feet of water just under the sand. I showed the ring to Tom and we immediately called Adam who was in Chicago and Adam said “We will be there in 2 hours”. What a beautiful and happy couple. Adam said, “we were angels sent from God to be in the right place at the right time”. The ring was given to him by his mother so he immediately called her, in New York, and said it was recovered. After many pictures, hugs and smiles we all went our own ways. Not before giving 2 warnings to Rosie 1. Get it insured and 2. Never wear it in the water.

Precious watch recovered

I was contacted by James this morning hoping I could find the lost watch his son had lost after he fell off the bike he was riding in a field the previous evening .
Upon arrival they showed me the rough area of his fall , my Equinox 800 with the stock coil fitted located the precious watch within 15 minutes, it is always great to see the happy relived smiles of of someone being reunited with their property , all thanks to ring finders .com

Wedding Ring Set Lost In Atlantic Beach, NC Waters Found & Vacation Saved

Amanda & Chris were spending a family vacation along Salter Path’s beach.  After a few hours on the beach they returned to their room to clean up.  It was then Amanda discovered her wedding ring set was gone!  Chris had mentioned to me that the rings were usually a snug fit and had been soldered together.  The evening of the loss, Chris found my contact information and plans were made to meet the following day.  After a thunderstorm, I began the search in the area of the beach they set up and worked my way toward the water.  Once it was near the low tide time, I changed to a different metal detector and headed into the water.  One of the first targets in the water was a stainless band ring.  A couple more items were retrieved from the waist deep water before I placed the detector coil over Amanda’s rings.  To my surprise, they were laying on top of the sand & shells I pulled up in the scoop.  Chris mentioned I had saved their vacation as Amanda was very upset because the rings were lost.

iPhone 11 lost in Lake Sammamish WA

This family from California was up visiting other family members at their Lake Sammamish property when Blake’s phone got kicked into the water below. Blake had a lot of data on his phone that had not been backed up so it was important for them to recover his phone to secure the data. He left his iPhone on the side of the dock while he was on the jet ski and when he returned his aunt accidentally bumped his phone with her foot. At this point the iPhone was overboard and down to the lake bottom it went. This family initially reached out to a local SCUBA group on FaceBook. They found a recreational diver that offered to come over and “give in a try”. That attempt didn’t work oudft so well for them and their phone was still in the bottom of the lake at the foot of their private dock in no more that fifteen feet of water by all reasonable accounts. Once they found my contact we got the ball rolling and the SeattleRingHunter was on the way for another Lake Sammamish cell phone recovery! Paladium Gents Wedding Band Lost & Found On Branksome Beach

When Mark & family from Bournemouth visited the beach recently &  had no clue had disasterous it was going to end. Over the last few months Mark had lost a few pounds & noticed his wedding ring felt a ‘little loose’. When chest deep in water suddenly he felt the ring slip from his finger & disappear.

When I received the call I knew we had to get there quick- soft sands along the whole of Bournemouth beach consumes rings at an alarming rate. We met the next day where by now the tide had slightly receded. I made my plan, sort my position & set to work getting ZERO signals.

After 15 minutes suddenly from the silence the CTX3030 screamed a deafening tone at me & my heart began to pound. Staring down through my mask into the water I fanned the sand away, bit by bit until 6 inches down…

Mark Roberts was throwing his seven-year-old daughter Lily around during a trip to the beach when the palladium band slipped off his ring finger.
He realised it was gone minutes later and he and wife Lisa and their friends spent around half an hour searching in waist high water for it.
Several days later he was put in touch with detectorist Richard Higham who met him at Branksome Chine, Poole, Dorset, and found the ring in just 10 minutes.

there it was! It was a large ring made even larger by the waters magnification & I thought at first it might be a bangle!

Mark & wife were overjoyed to get their ring back & contacted the Margaret Green Animal Sanctuary to make a very kind donation.
