Crab Grab In Beufort, NC Results in Lost Class Ring, Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Wilson was spending time at a Beaufort, NC Air BnB and decided to try digging for crabs in the muddy marsh along a small dock that lead to a very narrow channel.  The following day, he noticed his ring was missing.  He was not sure where it was lost but used some common sense.  He had mentioned that he believed it was in the marsh, or the yard but wasn’t sure.  I told Wilson I would search the first thing in the morning, as he texted me in the afternoon, too late to make it out there and I wanted to be sure the landowner or tenants were aware of me arriving.  Wilson trusted me with searching without him there as he would not be able to receive the class ring until Friday.  In the early morning of Wednesday June 12th I headed toward the mucky marsh.  Of course, I picked the wrong side of the pier to start searching and after hunting the right side, I started my search on the left.  After about 10 aluminum can signals, my Minelab Equinox 800 received a screaming 18 signal within arms reach of the pier.  I even said out loud “Oh please, please, please”  and started to dig using my pinpointer to direct me to the metal signal, up from the black mud came Wilson’s class ring!  He is a recent engineering graduate and was thankful the ring from his mother was back in his possession once again!  I thank Wilson for trusting Crystal Coast Ring Finders with finding and Returning his sentimental ring.

Wedding Ring Lost At Boat Dock, Point Pleasant Beach NJ, Recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

lost ring lbi nj ring finder jersey shore ring finderJersey shore ring finderThe-ring-finders-south-jerseyJersey shore ring finderHow to find a lost ring Jennifer called to inquire about the possibility of recovering her wedding and engagement ring, that accidently flew off her finger into the water, at the boat dock. As usual I questioned her about exactly what had happened, as well as any information she might know about the water depth, clarity, current, etc. She explained that she had opened the state room door, stepped out onto the finger dock, and was brushing some crumbs off one of the boat cushions, when both rings flew right off her finger, into the dark water below. Jennifer was adamant this was exactly what happened, and confirmed both rings must be pretty much straight down, or possibly under the other boat, or under the finger pier. The water was a workable depth of around 5′ or so, depending on what end of the finger pier I was. Knowing how deep and dark the water was, I had to gather many items to ensure I had what was needed, to make this a successful recovery. Once on location at low tide, the water did average 5′, so that was a good thing. What wasn’t so good was how black and muddy the bottom was, as you can see the nasty black mud in the one picture. after clearing MANY targets, which is common in marina locations, I got a promising signal, that turned out to be Jennifer’s wedding ring. She was quite surprised I was able to find it with all the trash on the bottom. One would figure the other ring would be right near by, but after another 45 minutes, I had no luck. I really didn’t want to throw in the towel, but I was leaving for vacation early the following morning, and had to call it a day. Jennifer was extremely grateful, as I promised her I would return the first chance I had after I got home.

Testimonial

I lost my wedding ring in the grass after thinking I’d put it in my bag whilst playing sport. After searching for an hour and a half I gave Evan a call the following day. Evan was really helpful and diligent. He was positive and cheerful when I had somewhat given up hope, and he found my ring outside of the main area I thought it was in. I highly recommend his services. Thank you Evan for your expertise, experience, and support.

Lost a ring or other metal valuable at the beach or in a grassy or sandy area? Jewelry slip off of you while working outside, playing with the dog or swimming? Please contact me ASAP at (843) 995-4719 or @dunedinringfinder. I offer a FREE metal detecting service, reward optional but appreciated upon recovery!

My wife and I recently were in Texas for about six weeks for the birth of our second grandson. I received several messages from individuals who had lost jewelry in the water at Honeymoon Island. Because I knew I would not be returning for several more weeks, I needed to call upon some experienced, trustworthy detectorists to conduct searches for these lost items as soon as possible and before they were found by someone who would not return them.

Adriacely contacted me to say that her husband Wil had lost a gold necklace with a large gold pendant given to him by his grandfather. Mitchell messaged that he had felt his white gold wedding ring slip off of his hand while he was paddleboarding. Tampa Ring Finder Jason Connolly and Scott Carlson of Pinellas County Florida Ring Recovery agreed to search for both items. After water searches by both, Scott (who had previously found and returned another necklace I had searched for) recovered and returned Wil’s gold necklace and Jason was able to find Mitchell’s wedding ring!

Adriacely and Wil, so very happy that Scott was able to find your necklace. Mitchell, it’s nice to see that wedding band back on your finger courtesy of Jason’s recovery efforts. Scott and Jason, thank you for your outstanding work done in these difficult water recoveries. And thank you for trusting the Dunedin Ring Finder to help you find your lost jewelry!

Lost Gold Ring in Lake Padgette, Fl., Found by Tampa Ring Finder Jason Connolly!!!

  • from Dunedin (Florida, United States)

My wife and I recently spent about six weeks in Texas for the birth of our second grandson. While there, I received a several messages from individuals who had lost jewelry in my area of Dunedin, Florida so I began to coordinate recovery efforts with experienced and trustworthy detectorists back home. I also was able to join a Texas A&M lost ring page and tried to do what I could to help reunite grads with their lost rings including three detecting searches in Texas as well as helping a grad find his ring that was for sale in a Houston pawn shop!

Jennifer contacted me from the Land o’ Lakes area and said that her fiancé had lost his gold ring in the edge of a lake while trying to skip a rock across the lake surface. His mother had given him the ring so it had a great deal of sentimental value. Jennifer had tried using her son’s metal detector to find the ring in the water but had no luck. I told Jennifer that I was out of town for a few more weeks but that I would contact Jason Connolly, the Tampa Ring Finder to coordinate a search for her as the lake was in his “territory” anyway. Jason met Jennifer on site and after about a 45 minute search was able to recover the ring in thigh deep water and return the ring to her!

Congratulations to Jennifer and to Jason for a job well done! Thank you to Jennifer for trusting the Dunedin Ring Finder to help you find your fiancé’s precious ring!

Wedding Ring Lost In The Surf Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

It was the beginning of a family vacation at Emerald Isle, North Carolina.  Adam was throwing a football in the shallow waters.  When he was done, he noticed his wedding ring was no longer on his finger.  His mother-in-law remembered reading a story about a Ring Finder in Florida and began an online search that brought up The Ring Finders directory.  She messaged me and I gathered my gear to head their way.

Adam wasn’t sure exactly when or where it happened.  He did know the boundaries of where he was in the water.  The tide was coming back in and I knew I had to work somewhat quickly.  Water searches are extremely slow because of trying to move the detector coil through the water and wave currents.  I think they may have started to have doubts of  his ring being found the same day.  My second target barked out a 13 on the Minelab Equinox 800 and it actually made me smile.  In one scoop I had Adam’s ring.

Now their vacation can resume normally and I hope they have the best one ever!
